Thank you from the Daily Paul

Thank you to the over 300 people who have donated to the DP's semi-annual fundraiser. I began sending out thank you postcards this morning to everyone who has sent in a donation.

So far we've raised about $8,000 towards our goal of $20,000. The money will go towards paying: Hosting, system administration costs, programming costs, moderation, accounting, legal and general maintenance. If you value this community, please show your support today.

Been delaying due to my enormously busy schedule.:) As I get older, I get increasingly lazy.

Anyway, here's a tiny donation.

Folks! I'm sending postcards!

Postcards from the Revolution.

Ha ha ha. I never even thought of that. I didn't even realize it. It was the workings of the subconscious. Postcards from the Revolution.

From the site of the First Flag in the whole United States! It is one hundred yards away from my house!

Wow. My mind just got blown. But then again, my watch reads 4:20.

Interesting First Flag story...

got any more background on that? This is new on me but it makes a hell of a lot of sense since we owed a debt to the crown at the end of the war. That flag says "America is just a British colony."

Hey, that's my town in the picture!

Glad I could chip in! Looking forward to the postcard.

Lexington

Is a beautiful town. I love the library. Probably my favorite in the Minuteman system. Such a beautiful building. So spacious - and the best selection of magazines. The most comfortable chairs to nap in.

I used to visit often when I lived in Arlington. It was much closer than it is now. Now I live in Somerville, and more often frequent the Somerville Library:

http://postcardsfromtherevolution.com/2013/01/somerville-lib...

Beautiful building on the outside - not so well organized, nor beautiful on the inside. Somerville is waiting on the government for money for a new library:

http://www.boston.com/yourtown/news/somerville/2012/07/new_s...

The governor is trying to raise taxes to pay for all of this. He'll lower the sales taxes & increase the income tax, and the net is supposed to be + 1 Billion for the state. Then he can build that library.

I'll tell you one thing: I'd like to see that new library built. The problem with Somerville is that it is such a poor town. Not like Lexington. Highly socialist, the town I live in. They're building an affordable housing complex in front of my building. A little faction got control of the politics. In this case it is a liberal faction

But that is what "we" want to do. The RepubliCANs want to take over an outsized portion of the influence. And they can, if no one is paying attention. Don't draw too much attention!

But I digress. The Lexington library is lovely. And I love that area. With the statue there, and the Buckman Tavern just across from the Green. It is so beautiful. There is a tree there called, "The Liberty Tree." I have a picture of it. That definitely needs to be a "Postcard" from the revolution.

I am indebted to everyone who, by the grace of god

sent the coin of the realm my way (at this time FRNs, though 3 oz of silver have also come in, including a most beautiful Somali 1oz coin, with an Elephant, and her daughter).

I am indebted, as well as everyone who visits this site.

Thank you. From the bottom of my drunken heart. lol. I love you all.

I had 1,000 printed

And I'm signing them all. Does that make them collectible?

TOO BAD

there's only one of you Michael, but then again that's a beautiful thing. Only one of each of us, were all one of a kind. It has been good to gather and share stories, info, and truth and perhaps some fiction here and there on this website. Here we find ways to encourage each other when the enemies of liberty, even the ones in our own minds continue to dominate the airwaves and atmoshere of of our daily lives. I have so much enjoyed being a part of this lberty -loving community and count it a priveledge to be a monthly subscriber/doner. I will make an effort to bring others to this good drinking hole. Peace, Gold and Loving Liberty to you and all who pursue it.

With all due respect, I will no longer be a voting prostitute for Constitution rejecting harlots.

Nice looking assault rifle too!
