Just Returned From My GOP Committee Meeting

This is to inform those who want to know, I have been elected treasurer. That means I have a vote in the state, and will be attending the conventions. I have accepted other responsibilities on my committee, chairing and participating in sub-committees, and am looking forward to using all the grassroots experience to RESTORE THE REPUBLIC TO CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT in the GOP.

Every step is important because of what one learns along the path. It has been a huge learning curve, and while I can not say it has always been easy or fun, it has been educational and for that I am appreciative! I need to call a meeting of our central committee and, hopefully, get re-elected chair. Coincidentally, I have been really slammed with work at my day job since the election so my politics have suffered. Hoping to get back to work "revitalizing" the GOP as soon as things calm down a little.

It was the hardest thing, but the most important thing, that became the best thing, and that was merely showing up to the meetings. My only regret is that I did not trust, or believe, in Ron Paul's wisdom enough to join in 07.

Honoring the principles of Liberty is my foundation, and while the GOP, like every party, has rules, such as loyalty oaths, which are designed to trip us, and make us lose our way, Ron Paul gave us the foundation, LIBERTY, FREEDOM, PEACE, RESTORING THE REPUBLIC, which remain the goal I have my eyes set upon, and appreciate all the prayers, good luck wishes, and hopes it takes to achieve that.

Congrats and I'm glad to see you are back.

I am vying to be my county's state rep. I'll announce it here if I get elected.

Being the state committeeman would give me a vote at the conventions and it gives me a say in state level decisions, like who will be the state party chair.

Last year I was able to have impact on the party platform just for being present at the convention. We are making a difference.

Not too long ago, I was at a GOP event, and near the end, a person in the group said, for everyone to hear, "You're The Granger!" I looked around the group, wondering, "Do they all know?" Someone asked, "The Granger? What's that?" The person said, "The Granger is her name on a the best blog on the net!"

I LOVE DP and look forward to my card, as another addition to my, "Wall of DP art". Thank you for everything!! If not for DP, as much as RP, I would not be where I am today.. never dreamed it.. but am happy to be part of this good fight for our LIBERTY!
