H. R. 75: To End Membership of the United States in the United Nations.

Marti Oakley

“No member of the Armed Forces of the United States may serve under the command of the United Nations.”

"There are few of us commoners out here who have not come to the realization that the United States involvement in the United Nations is detrimental to our continued existence as a free and sovereign nation. There is not one action, law, or mandate, not one unlawfully and fictionally created federal agency or program that does not have its roots in the United Nations. The sole intent of the UN with regards to the United States, is the dismantling and deconstruction of our sovereignty and our subjugation to world government.

This bill was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs. It will never see the light of day if we do not pressure the political mafia in the District of Criminals to act upon it. In all likelihood they will never acknowledge this bill. But those of us fighting back against this “one world government” movement coming out of the UN need to make ourselves heard.

This bill will not fix it all, but it sure would be a good start in the right direction!"

Full Text of Bill.

Mr. BROUN of Georgia introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs January 3, 2013

Giving up

should not be in our thinking. It will be difficult because the UN is constantly used by the USA (NATO) when we want to get involved in the middle east, or anywhere. If we didn't use the UN, the American people would soon become aware of what is really going on and maybe the troops would come home. My opinion.

We are in another war for our Independence.

May I turn that around,

and say that the UN uses the USA. Many of the most influential people in American politics have much, MUCH, more loyalty to the UN than the US.

At least we can recognize

At least we can recognize that there are some people in congress while not completely perfect. Have some darn good ideas LIKE THIS ONE!!

Most of you do not realize that

Afghanistan has been under UN combat leadership since 2004.

Freedom may be worth searching for.

I have given up on my fellow Americans, (not DPers) as I will not shed one more calorie trying to awaken anyone else who is not a critical thinker and does not have the inherent feeling that something is wrong.

Wrong crowd, turn around.

Most of THEM...
There was a proper hissy fit here at the DP when a soldier got in trouble for refusing to fight in UN colors.

I've given up hope

There's no way something like this will pass, it seems like a waste of energy to take interest. Congress is just a joke, the country is ruled by the Corporations and global elite.

Agree with you completely, but there is an important reason.

“But let it not be said that we did nothing. Let not those who love the power of the welfare/warfare state label the dissenters of authoritarianism as unpatriotic or uncaring. Patriotism is more closely linked to dissent than it is to conformity and a blind desire for safety and security. Understanding the magnificent rewards of a free society makes us unbashful in its promotion, fully realizing that maximum wealth is created and the greatest chance for peace comes from a society respectful of individual liberty.” -Ron Paul

I'm trying to imagine how Ron Paul must have felt year-after-year when he would introduce meaningful legislation in Congress only to have it go nowhere.

I DID something already!

No one can say I did nothing. I did a lot!

And now I'm trying to figure out how to get my family out of this country. Let it not be said I did nothing to get my kids away from the police state.

After Lincoln, Wilson, the Father of the UN (formerly known as.

The League of Nations), is probably the most responsible for the destruction of states and individual rights in this country. One World Government was his goal. (No individual rights, total tyranny) FDR was no better, and was elected to four terms. So the natural result of this is being ruled by an unqualified, unethical, egotistical statist who is doing more damage than they could have dreamed of.

"Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the office of a thoroughly nasty business concern." ~~C.S. Lewis

On the contrary, I think Wilson was just a pawn.

He was weak. (as are all presidents that lead us into war)

He even remarked sometime after signing the Federal Reserve Act that he had "unwittingly ruined his country."

He was duped and he realized it too late.

Edward Mandel House, his closest and trusted advisor was the one behind the scenes wreaking havoc.

71 years of membership in the U.N.

is this called the John Birch Society bill?

One generation late?

Let's not forget what Penetta communicated to Senator Jeff Sessions; that NATO owns our troops for "peacekeeping" purposes via the Executive Branch....at least that's what I got out of it...

It is bad enough to have to

It is bad enough to have to forcefully support government programs at state and federal level. It is crazy to support a group of people with certain ideologies who are unaccountable and do not respond to anyone. Why are we giving part of our tax dollars to strangers in far away lands?

UN was a tyranny dreamt of by Wilson and FDR.

The pretended that they wanted to end wars and foster peace. These lying warmongers just wanted more excuses to go to war.

Escape UN tyrannies.

End the Fed.

The sooner the better for law abiding citizens.

"Get US Out Of The UN" on a billboard in the 1960's.

We took our vacations in the Adirondacks, and as a child I asked my dad what the sign meant. He said something about the John Birch Society, told me a little about the UN, he seemed sort of sad about the whole thing. That is how my 5 or 6 year old self recorded the event, anyway. As I grew, I came to think the UN was a GREAT idea, could not understand why anyone would object. I've come a long way, baby...
I'll make that call, thanks for posting.

I remember those billboards, too.

Also, the "Impeach Earl Warren" signs, especially in the South in the '60s. I think many of those were part of a JBS campaign, as well.

I sent this short e-mail to my congressmen today.

H.R. 75, American Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2013 was introduced by Mr. Broun of Georgia on January 3, 2013. I need you to act on this today. Representative (name) I want you to co-sponsor this bill now. Senators Warner and Kaine, I want you to introduce a Senate version of the bill now. Name me one instance in the past 50 years where the U.N. ambiguously and materially contributed to the freedom of our citizens, or our national interests. Just one. The U.N. is usurping our sovereignty at every turn. And we pay for this abuse!

Magna est veritas, et prevalebit. Truth is most powerful, and will ultimately prevail.
