oooh the big bad evil looking

oooh the big bad evil looking assault rifles...I guess that is why they call them that...they know what they plan to use them for.

Self Defense

I love how on the very first page of the link it states that they are requesting "5.56x45mm NATO, select-fire firearm suitable for personal defense." Aren't these the same officials saying no one needs an "assault weapon" for personal defense? Yet they want the fully auto model as compared to the semi-autos we are currently allowed to own.

Yeah, that says it all.

There will be one for each Congressperson, and one for any of the important class that does not already have one.

I fished through some of this crap last night.Big clip/Full auto

Good find!

I am glad someone knows what all of it means 'cause it's all Greek to me. I hate guns but I love my fellow citizens armed.

I can't make heads or tails

I can't make heads or tails out of the link. Is there a section of the linked documents that sums it all up?

According to my small-town paper...

our county sherriff has a bunch of ARs and ammo on order and was told it will be an 8 month wait!!!

That's $1400.00 a pop

Think this might have been used to slow down the acquisition of weapons by the civilian population?

There are no politicians or bankers in foxholes.

No sealed bids either.

Negotiated is code for cronies only.

Or perhaps defend themselves against

the civilian population.

That goes without saying

Many seem to be stuck on the idea that it will be the military that will make the move. While you might have some that betray the oath they took I feel the largest danger is the multiple agencies with their assorted acronyms,FBI DEA ATF DHS DIA SSA that will be in the vanguard of total subjugation of the population. They've shown us how bloodthirsty and brutal they are at Waco and Ruby Ridge and I seriously doubt they have grown more compassionate or patriotic. I'm hoping the military comes down on our side and doesn't wait it out on the sidelines.
