"Another drain pipe painted green" Camden, NJ

(sorry, had to steal a witty comment from the article)

More fake gun-turning-inning. By now I'm thinking they have all these guns in a box and pull them out whenever they have these gun buy back events to make it seem like a success. I cannot think of any sportsmen who would trade in a $300+ rifle for a $50 grocery card. You'd sell that at a dealer or online. Oh well..

Those pictures are what insanity looks like.

Crikey, what a buncha nuts. Some of those guns look like beautiful antiques and it makes me what to puke to think they'd turn in a precious family heirloom all out of hysteria. I knew there was a reason I don't like most of the people from New Jersey.

WOW- you cant tell me you didnt do a double take

on the picture of the Camden LT. Dude looks just like a Nazi. At first I thought it was a joke.

Does anybody know - are they going to do a ballistics test on every one of those to match to crimes - or are they just going to destroy them?

They better just destroy them so not to implicate the mafia...

...or government in any more felony crimes or conspiracies.

From what I heard

The gun buy back in Bridgeport CT was no questions asked - so basically - if I was a gang banger and had a gun used in a homocide- all I have to do is just go turn it in - not only do they pay me - but the cops destroy the evidence for me.

Look at all them guns, any one of which could deal with..

..that dirty crooked disgusting group of crooked NJ politicians.

What a waste of good firearms.

They couldn't hold it

with one hand, like that, if it were loaded, and the launcher is not illegal.

One of the rifles in the pile-o-guns pictures looks like a BB gun. The stock appears to be plastic, what with that pronounced wood grain.

Obvious Propaganda "Prop"

I would go along with the idea that these weapons are media props to gain support for the obvious political kabuki theater...
They think we're idiots!

Next time I hear of one these buy backs, I'm heading down there with all my water pistols and super soakers. Maybe I can get $25 for my sister's Hello Kitty Bubble Gun!

It did occur to me that I could make those

fake rocket launcher tubes that is. Get some cardboard tubes and boxes, out with the trusty Stanley razor knife, bit of spray paint, SHEBANG! I got an endless supply of stuff for them to "buy back".

However school policies make me reconsider. Perhaps toy guns would do just as well. Good enough to get you expelled, good enough to sell? Could we turn in Hello Kitty Bubble Guns or maybe even just get paid for walking up with our fingers in the gun shape? Or maybe even pictures of guns?

The possibilities seem endless to me here. This is truly our cash machine.

Most of those who think so actually don't and most of those who think sew actually rip.

Some kid might get expelled

for a gun shape he made out of Legos. Since that "gun" is so dangerous, you might be able to get something for it in a buy-back.

You gave me an idea. Why not

You gave me an idea.
Why not just go stand in line for these things with your fingers always pointed like a gun and when it is your turn place your (l/r) hand down on the table and say, "here is my weapon, officer."

Or make an L out of some paper, or legos, or clay, or a stick, or...
