... I'm afraid things might soon accelerate quicker than even most preppers think.

One thing pretty sure: the vast majority of the "western" people(s) -that is, certainly NOT "just" the USA- have no clue of the 1,000 tons Amtrak cargo train coming to their bike they forgot on the tracks, and at full speed.
