To any Obama (or GOP) supporter I would ask 2 questions - why are you such a strong supporter of the big banks and large

corporations?

I would ask just two questions to anyone that is currently supporting Barack Obama.

Why are you such a big supporter of the big banks and large Corporations?

Why are you a supporter of America's decline like China and not a supporter of a strong America and prosperous Americans?

I would ask exactly the same questions to anyone who supports the current GOP leaders too.

The bail out of the big banks continues but at an accelerated rate of $1tn a year from 2013.

Corporate Welfare is now well over $1tn a year.

The fiscal Cliff deal kept ALL of the over $1tn a year of Corporate Welfare while handing middle class and poorer tax payers a HUGE $200bn a year tax hike.

Why are you supporting people that are making America poorer and strategically weaker?
The EXACT opposite of current policies are required in order to reverse America's persistent and insidious decline.
It the economy is ever gong to recover, disposable incomes of ordinary people need to rise not plummet.

The leadership of both parties are EXACTLY the same on the important issues, the leadership of BOTH parties advocate policies that will see an acceleration of America's decline.

I Am GOP

I bank with credit unions.

I shop local (we have a McDonald's and a Starbucks, and I'm sure they are only there for the tourists, I don't go there, so I don't know, but I don't mind they are there because I know addictions are hard to break and vacation time isn't the time to do that.. still we have two outstanding coffee companies, Thanksgiving and Big River, and Jenny's Burger seems to be always packed,, it's a local owned and operated burger stand, serves Roundman's meats.. locally owned too)

Seems to me, you have a prejudice against the GOP that doesn't hold water.

Oh and Obamacare needs to be canned.

More accurately entitled "The Kill Pensioners Quicker Act"

See my other post today.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

If you cannot see that both parties are agreed that

$2tn a year should be stolen from taxpayers and ordinary people while they create a sham argument over $20 or $30bn what have you been spending your time on, on here?

The welfare state will have to be completely reformed.
The retirement age will eventually have to be raised to 70+.

Similar massive reforms need to be made to medicare but they can also include stopping the $100bn a year of fraud and about the same on reducing drug prices.

However the easiest and first way to get some sense into government finances while the economy is in such a fragile state is to remove over $1tn a year from Corporate Welfare and stop the $1tn a year bailout to the big banks.

I am in favor of raising the tax threshold by $7,500 (or nearly doubling it) as a first measure on lowering taxes.
That would cost less than $500bn a year.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

Sure I can see that easy

And that's why I got in the GOP to begin changing that.
