Record Withdrawals at U.S. Banks in January

"You probably haven't heard much about it from the mainstream media, but the latest figures released by the privately-owned Federal Reserve (FED) indicate that America's largest banks saw record cash withdrawals during the first full week of January 2013. As reported by Bloomberg Businessweek and scant others, account holders withdrew a record $114 billion in just one week, which represents the largest one-week withdrawal sum made in America since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks."

Unlike so many here I put my money where my mouth is.

Not literally of course but I am in the process of removing all my savings from the bank. I will keep a small checking account to pay bills or buy silver and whatnot but the bank is no longer going to be able to use my money to screw me with. I will not let them use my money for a measly .25% return.

Also with my anticipated noncompliance with Obamacare next year I do not want the government to be able to freeze my money. So I am removing it in increments so as not to raise suspicion.
