Why are authorities so desperate pushing people to quit smoking?

As a smoker its always nice to come across items that don't always follow the politically correct viewpoint. This is a little bit "out there" but simlar to vaccines, anytime the Government is strongly opposed to something it makes me think they have an ulterior motive.

Why authorities are so desperate pushing people to quit smoking? Could it be because smoking neutralizes the chemical poison?
Alan Watt talks about it in his radio show "Cutting Through The Matrix"

The body's natural immune

The body's natural immune response to inhaling smoke is to create a thin layer of mucous around the lungs - a mucous membrane that helps protect the lung cells. A membrane acts as a barrier to the cell...the membrane captures the bad particles, and then gets rid of them.

Basic high school Biology 101.

The mucous membrane immune response can be directly attributed to fire. Humans inhaled a lot of smoke for many thousands of years...just to keep warm, protect them from wild animals, and for light. Without fire, life would not exist. Early humans used fire for all kinds of beneficial things, and they all inhaled smoke virtually every day of their lives.

Ever sit around a campfire, then go home and your clothes wreak as if you could still smell the fire? Although the smoke wasn't in your face, you still breathed it in...woke up the next morning, coughed up "flem" and successfully got rid of all the bad things you breathed in thanks to your body's natural mucous membrane immune response.

Alan Watt said, "They're spraying us like cockroaches."

So I think it would be quite beneficial to have a mucous membrane surrounding your lungs to protect them, and your body from harmful invaders flying around in the air...

I did some research on the countries that smoke the most, and compared them to the countries with the highest rates of lung cancer.

This is quite shocking.

Which countries smoke the most?

1. Greece
2. Macedonia
3. Russia
4. Czech Republic
5. Slovenia
6. Spain
7. Japan
8. Ukraine
9. Bulgaria
10. Moldovia

Countries with the highest rates of lung cancer...

1. Hungary
2. Belgium
3. United States
4. Croatia
5. United Kingdom
6. Canada
7. Denmark
8. Italy
9. Poland
10. Czech Republic

Does this make any sense?

1 out of 10?

Use your membrane.

In the 1940's, atomic weapons were experimentally detonated on American soil with US servicemen not far away, and 20 years later the government blamed smoking for all the cancer.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

Smoke from fires is much different than smoke from cigarettes

arguably? The latter is concentrated inhalation. The former, accidental inhalation.

It clearly depends on what is

It clearly depends on what is being inhaled. Nicotine, tar, and whatever else isn't going to help you - -it's going to hurt you. Would you sit around and inhale a campfire that's burning plastic? No, that would be stupid (and horrible for the environment too).

So assuming your membrane theory is 100% correct, I don't see this as evidence that smoking cigarettes is good for you.

Makes perfect sense

Yes, it makes perfect sense.

Now I know why the public health system of the country I'm from has consistently spent millions of $$$ every year over the last 3 decades in national TV campaigns explaining how utterly harmful*** smoking is:

it's because France doesn't appear in either lists (while often strongly suggested it'd be somewhere in the first list, though, if I remember my 20s and 30s years well).

It makes perfect sense, now:

indeed, pure b.s. is yet another wonderful way to waste tax payer's money. By large (including through unprecedented taxation on cigarette packs... to fund "research", of course)

P.S. ***

1. I STRONGLY discourage anyone from ever starting. It can become a (nervous) addiction very difficult to get rid of. Hell I know what I'm talking about. No addiction/dependence is ever good; it's phrased in the Bible, so many times, in so many ways.

2. I don't claim it is harmless. I only question the official message's full extent.

Ah, but is it really addictive?

For those buying the government approved, pre-made smokes, the evidence is very clear that it's easy to become addicted.

However, in discussing this with the local smoke shop lady, she said that EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER who switches over (to save money) to buying tobacco and uses a little machine to stuff empty tubes... every one of them has cut consumption by 40-90% WITHOUT even knowing it. Some simply give it up.

So... in my usual way, I go do a little research. All the menthol brands I looked up have high fructose corn syrup as a main ingredient. Other varied and forgotten ingredients are in the pre-made ones that aren't in the bulk. In fact, the ingredients for the bags of bulk tobacco says, "Tobacco". LOL

It is very possible you'd be correct

It is very possible you'd be correct, in fact.

I really need to work on it seriously once and for all.

Real tobacco or not, it's still a bad habit, IMO, that I'd like to get rid of, some day, if only for myself and my family, even if I smoke outside only (non-negotiable when you're not single, IMO).

Nervously and mentally speaking, I know I'm not ready yet, on that one. Maybe real, non-tweaked tobacco could help me find my way out. Not the first time I hear about that option.

Anyway, it is very rare I ever enjoy one those. :/

Great thought...

I have always wondered that as well...
I firmly believe that every single word written or spoken by government "officials" and perpetuated ad nauseum by the corporate controlled media HAS to be a lie. It is the nature of the beast, it knows no truth and to speak truth would be it's demise.
I have pondered many times that perhaps the tobacco herb has very beneficial properties that are countering big pharma's onslaught on our health.
That's it! I'm starting smoking again! lol
Seriously though, I think there is some truth to what I was saying.

Hey Archons', we are taking our planet back and there's nothing you can do about it!

I agree with you for the most

I agree with you for the most part, but smoking isn't exactly healthy. If we were talking straight dried natural tobacco, once in a while, maybe chewed or vaporized for the nicotine, then we could talk about it being healthy, but cigarettes as they are now are toxic and designed to cause health problems. They are a trap to make you sick, just like vegetable oil, soy, and stuff like that. Not saying they should be illegal, or anything like that, I'm just talking about health.

I could not have said it

I could not have said it better myself. There is a big difference between natural tobacco leaf and the chemical additives and pesticides that end up in commercial cigaretts.

On the other hand, Cannabis should be legal to grow eat or inhale as we please. If there ever was a Fascist cospiracy, the Drug War is it.

We all share this eternally evolving present moment- The past and future only exist as inconsequential mental fabrications.

If you can get cigarettes that are not laced with toxins,

then it would sound like it could be a good alternative. Maybe pot would work better.

cigarette that is 100% additive-free, premium whole leaf tobacco.

It's part

of taking control of healthcare and expanding influence. It allows them to demonstrate that they care and know best while taking control of an issue and expanding funding, expanding departments, and expanding political power. Food, general health, education, it's not just smoking. Politics seems to be about getting on one side of an issue, convincing everyone that you have the answer, and then spinning everything that results to prove and further your real agenda.

Man, don't you know?

Man, don't you know?

It's because they care about us.

They really do.

You can't get cancer if you don't smoke.

While we will get one, for sure.

They know what's good and what's bad for us.

Always. They know.

because its HARD to quit smoking!!! Nicotine gums, patches, inhalers etc makes up a multi-BILLION dollar industry. sometimes, they work but then the smoker relapses and goes back to smoking. view it as you may, if the Government sees an opportunity to gain revenue while fooling The People in providing relief, recent history shows they will.

Ask the Same Question for Digital TV

A few years back, the federal government just couldn't wait to get everyone equipped for digital broadcasting. Free set-top boxes, posters in the post office, Billions of dollars spent (literally) just to make sure we ALL had a "clear picture". (god, they're so good to us...)

What's up with that? Perhaps here's a clue:

It's as simple as this..

Solving our "problems" costs us money.

Tobacco is a problem! Raise taxes!

Global warming! Raise taxes!

Terrorists! Raise taxes..

Healthcare! Raise taxes..

Roads! Raise taxes..

Banks are failing! Raise taxes..

The "solution" to every problem is to raise taxes.

The parasites can't get enough.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

Nicotine is powerful medicne, and they are starting to

realize they are charging over-the-counter prices for a very popular drug.

Look for smoking to be outlawed so that you will only be able to take nicotine in prescribed pills. Pharma is working on it right now.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Bill proposed in Oregon would make cigarettes prescription-only
