How can we prepare for possible nuclear war? Cloth. Maybe newspaper.

You have to be prepared to duck and cover guys.


The government would never give you faulty information.
Just duck and put a newspaper over yourself.
That ought to do the trick.

In point of fact paper does

In point of fact paper does block alpha rays...though not beta gamma or neutron. Beta rays are blocked by plastic, gamma rays by lead, neutron rays by water and concrete. So there is a very small grain of truth in hiding behind paper will help deflect the least harmful of the rays.(I know this because I happen to work in nuclear power plants part of the time)
