Introducing Tom Woods' Freedom on Tour!
Submitted by freedom1776 on Fri, 02/01/2013 - 11:58The Iowa GOP, now firmly in the hands of good Ron Paulians, wants to sponsor a liberty education tour around the state. They want me to keynote every event. It will give regular Iowans, many of whom have received their political education from neoconservative radio (as I myself once did), some exposure to the genuine liberty message.
Here’s the page where they’re raising the funds: FreedomOnTour.com. The more they raise, the more events there will be and the more people they will be able to reach.

I just got an email from Steve Bierfeldt (you may remember from
Ron's campaign) who is now the Executive Director of the IOWA GOP that they need just $914 to finish this off, so he can tell Tom that this is a go!

"Thank you so much for your generosity thus far to the Iowa GOP's first ever "Freedom on Tour" with Tom Woods.
Because of your help we are only $914 away from reaching our goal!
I'm planning on calling Tom Woods sometime in the next few days to go over plans for the first event.
I'd like to tell him, "Yes! The event is a Go." But I need to ensure we've secured the funding first.
Will you help us reach our goal TODAY with a small additional contribution of $30, $25 or even $15?
We're so close to reaching our objective that I'd like to move forward so we have sufficient time to plan.
I just have to make sure we've met our required expenses.

This is exactly why
We all need to be getting involved with our county republican party! How cool would it be to have Tom Woods, Robin Koerner, Richard Mack, and Chuck Baldwin (hhmm, we need some high profile women and minorities to add to that group!) on a nationwide 50 state tour educating republicans at their meetings on what freedom really is and how we win when we promote freedom!
I want Dr. Woods to bring this to my state!
If you aren't already, look into becoming a pco and help bring liberty to your county and state republican party!

**NOTE: I am fully aware of Tom's objections to running, claiming it would be a waste of people's money. But I disagree with his assessment. I can think of no other person more capable to continue Ron Paul's goal of spreading the message of liberty than Tom Woods. Sue me! :D
Educating people about freedom is Tom Woods greatest passion and he obviously loves doing it. The biggest classroom he could ever hope for would be running for president. Just sayin'...
Tom's second objection to running is that his opponents could lift a few quotes from his writings and it would be all over. Who cares? They did that with Ron and looked what resulted! The greatest awakening to the idea of less government and more freedom in modern history. And it appears to be going global! If all that was a "waste of money" then sign me up for some more. I'm ready to waste some federal reserve notes! :p

This is exciting
This is one of Ron's new projects and his signature one that involves Tom Woods. Everyone should watch the short video and determine if they think there's value in it. For me, I'm thoroughly pumped to see Ron and Tom making great efforts to aid his friends that run the IAGOP to make sure it stays a viable party for liberty and not be retaken by the establishment. Having these little liberty summits all over the state would be a great way to educate the republican/conservative base of the party into a more liberty oriented ideology. Everyone should be so excited about Ron's new phase of activism!!
