MIAMI, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – Burger King will reportedly test its meat to make sure it is 100 percent beef after horse DNA was found in beef products from one of its food processors.
Diego Beamonte, Burger King’s vice president of global quality, told Bloomberg Businessweek that “details for DNA testing have not been worked out, and no timeline has been set for implementing the new procedures.”
Burger King addressed this topic after it was disclosed that Silvercrest Foods sold beef products containing horse meat to other retailers.

I'm wondering if horse might be safer than beef...
But then again, dog and cat are cheaper.
Cat is Stringy
Cat's no good, it's stringy, and both dog and cat are carnivores (or omnivores)--it's like eating pig, racoon, rat, oppossum, catfish and other garbage-eating bottom-feeding animals.
To make things worse, when cats and dogs (chickens and pigs) are fed commercial food, it often contains GMO corn.
Horses and cattle may not be carnivores, but they're fattened with GMO corn, too.
What you want is grass-fed lamb or bison (or deer). I don't think they've figured out, yet, how to force sheep to eat corn.
Besides, the labor to skin a cat, despite the options, is monumental, given how little meat there is.
What do you think? http://consequeries.com/
They need to first test it to
They need to first test it to make certain it's meat at all...
Resist the temptation to feed the trolls.
Is horse any good?
I'm game for trying some.
