helping to spread the message of ron paul

is what's important to my way of thinking, not watering it down; as ron paul has pointed out both parties are wrong, the system is wrong, both keynesians, both pro police state tactics, both wrong headed on foreign policy.
why does rand think the US should be the policemen of the world if "diplomacy" fails? why does he think iranian banks are the business of the US?

"I do see Iran as a threat to the stability of the Middle East... Recently, President Obama took nuclear weapons off the table in certain circumstances, and I think that's a mistake. I think it's reckless to take them out of the equation." –Rand Paul, 19 May 2010

“Clearly, language threatening to wipe a nation or a group of people off the map is to be condemned by all civilized people. And I do condemn any such language. But why does threatening Iran with a pre-emptive nuclear strike, as many here have done, not also deserve the same kind of condemnation? Does anyone believe that dropping nuclear weapons on Iran will not wipe a people off the map? When it is said that nothing, including a nuclear strike, is off the table on Iran, are those who say it not also threatening genocide?” –Ron Paul, 22 May 2007

I'll bet a roll of silver dollars

that Ron endorses Rand. I'd also bet good money that Ron told Rand to endorse Romney.

I won't take your first bet

But I'll take your second.

Ron got word about 30 minutes before showtime that Rand was endorsing Romney.

He's the man.

IMO, both Pauls coordinated the events of 6/7/12

Ron sent us the email and made the private youtube video telling us that Romney had sewn up the nomination and that he could not win. He suspended the campaign and spent the rest of the time securing delegates for the convention hoping to influence the platform.

That night, Rand endorsed Romney on Fox news for all the typical conservatives to see. I don't know with certainty how it went down, but it looked like a coordinated event by both Ron and Rand to me. I do not believe for one second that Rand would've endorsed Romney without the go ahead from Dad.

I believe Ron's decision to endorse no one in the race was his way of telling us to trust in Rand, and also his way of telling us not to jump into the Libertarian party. Ron knows the LP is hopeless, that's why he came back to the GOP compromising his principles in the process and igniting a rEVOLution in his name.

Correlation is not causality

And beliefs are not reality.

Do you have any evidence?

Based on what I know, and what I was told, Rand's endorsement came as a surprise to Ron and Carol.

He's the man.

Who told you?

Who told you?

No evidence, just speculation

I can't find the video, but I remember hearing Ron say he and Rand had talked about endorsing Romney, but Ron also said in the same interview that Rand had been on is own since he was 16.

It might have been a surprise, but I doubt it. Rand explained to Ben Swann that he endorsed Romney because he promised to endorse the nominee. Rand's endorsement came after Romney secured the delegates to win the nomination and on the same day that Ron publicly announced he couldn't win the nomination.

I know, that doesn't mean that's how it went down. Coincidences do happen, but it looked like they planned it to me and that's what I believe.

But then Ron

KNEW that elected sign loyalty oaths, and he knew Rand was serious about a political career, and he knew that he himself was not fighting to win, but using the presidential debates as a tool to spread his message.. so while he may not have heard until 30 minutes before show time, that does not mean that he was not aware of Rand's goals and incumbances.

Had it not been for Rand, I and many others would have been booted from the GOP before the convention.

And while those who have issues with Rand may not agree or give him credit, they were not seated on committees facing Neocons and being threatened, or investigated. For those if us who went through HELL, it's another story than those who watched from where it was warm and safe.

Thank you! I agree 100%

Hate to burst bubbles but

Hate to burst bubbles but table this to = ain't happening.

If he wants to run again...

then I will gladly support him.

But, the man deserves a break.

We will see how he feels about it in 2015.

He's not going to run

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

To the downvoters:

I'll make you a wager, 10:1 Ron doesn't run in 2016. I'll put up $1000, you put up $100. Anyone want to take that sweet action? ; )

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

Maybe its time to give the

Maybe its time to give the man a break? He'll be 80 come the 2016 race. Let him enjoy his last years with his family instead of running in the rat race.

Its time for us to put on our big-boy pants and carry this movement on without Ron Paul being there in person to carry us.

Take over your party. Become a PCO, 100% vital that you become a PCO if you can. Take over upper party at the DISTRICT level. Surround them with us, and the fraud stops.

There will be plenty of good people to put up for POTUS. Ron's squeezed enough of his blood for this movement.

anyway, with the way some of these disrespectful paranoid assholes on here talk about his child, I wouldn't expect him to lift a finger for this movement again.

Honestly, I've never been so

Honestly, I've never been so disgusted by people here. I agree with you 100%.

respect is earned

and not by voting for the US to starve children & the elderly in another country.

how about letting ron decide? i doubt it too, but he did say on leno that he was preparing for 2016. as for his age, there's been a number of great men in their eighties who have done amazing things. don't be an ageist.

except for the "ageist" label.

Seems like he was just pointing out that Ron has been doing this for a long time, that's all.

A signature used to be here!

i didn't mean him on that note

but others who point to his age.

Many might agree with you... but

... Dr. Paul himself would not consider resting as a greater cause than dying friends and relatives today, in Mali, the Middle East, and all over the world, at the hands of the Constitution destroying 'drone authority'!

Rather, his Raison d'être as the greatest statesman, is simply: 'does the country need him', and 'do the people ask for his help'?!

We will know the need and the 'Ron Paul' candidate to fill that need when the time comes.

It is time to hold our cards close, but become again the party which has been stolen for corruption these many years! We are not taking it over, but taking it back from evil!

"A principled America above all parties, and all America will come to our party!"

peace out

& RON PAUL 2016

Honestly, Michael, I would

Honestly, Michael, I would prefer an older Ron, than a younger Rand any time of the day.. whether or not he will run is a different story, but putting out good vibes may help.. ;)

Well honestly Brian, me too

My wife was helping me figure this out the other night over drinks. She's incredibly helpful because she has an outside perspective. She reads this site on occasion, but doesn't pay too much attention. She's a brain scientist, with a real job (unlike me).

But she knows what is going on, because I give her the play by play. I keep her updated, just as she keeps me updated on what is going on at her work - the players, the politics and the developments.

So on that night that Rand endorsed Romney on Hannity, I was here listening to the video. We were packing, getting ready for that trip to China the next day. So the video is playing, and Rand is going on about how he's endorsing Romney and she blurts out, "That is disgusting."

Of course it was. And we all know he's playing the game, blah, blah, blah. But there is a difference, and what we came up with was that people support(ed) Ron Paul, and were attracted to him because he is a kind man. Above all, his kindness and goodheartedness shines through. And I think that is important to many people.

Rand is pretty cold blooded. Like a reptile. Ron & Carol got 30 minutes notice that he was going on Hannity to endorse Romney. That's pretty cold. And maybe that's what the country needs - who knows. But I know that I felt a personal attraction to Ron that I don't feel for Rand.

He's the man.

Rand is very

cold blooded. It seems that Ron did things for us, but Rand does things always for himself. No Rand for me.

AD in NV

This is what seperated RepubliCANS from Grassroots

Your wife's remark was a perfect example of grassroots. Besides chip-ins, grassroots had nothing on the line'

RepubliCANS.. those of us who were national delegates (I was selected as a delegate by RP campaign, and Romney won CA, so his delegates went) We were dealing with A LOT.. stealth or not stealth.

And many were like me, never belonging to a major party before, having this IDEA that WE CAN BE RON PAUL.. we can vote for whoever we want.

Rand was a WAKE UP CALL to us. No one cared about Ron Paul or if he had a loyalty oath, or if he kept it.. but that was not the case for us. They were after us, to out us, anyway they could. So by thinking, I AM RON PAUL.. well, guess what? WE ARE NOT.

I couldn't believe Rand endorsed Romney (who could?), but I had to ask, "WHY???" Because he had a loyalty oath, and so Rand deserves credit for waking many of us up. We are not Ron Paul, and we do not have the luxury to vote as we please after the primary.

Now some folks will say, "The ballots are secret". These same people will tell you, THE GOP LIES, CHEATS, STEALS. So am I to believe that the same GOP is not going to look at my ballot, which I have to sign the envelope, so they know it's MY ballot?

Had Rand not made that announcement, many delegates would have been canned by the GOP for thinking we could be exactly like Ron Paul and openly support him.

So I think Rand is owed a huge THANK YOU, because in truth, many of Ron Paul's delegates would have never made it to the convention if they had not woken up to the loyalty oaths they took to be delegates.

Least we forget how many were not delegates because the refused to sign the loyalty oaths.

Like Ron Paul, Rand takes a learning curve. I'm learning from Rand, and for that, I appreciate him very much.

Ditto. I'll echo my own

Ditto. I'll echo my own introduction to Rand.

After being a hard core Ron Paul supporter. Donated, made calls etc. I was excited to learn that his son was running for the senate so I went to hear him on one of the TV stations, and I was so disappointed. he sounded like every other politician out there in the way he speaks and delivers his message. It seemed contrived and cautious, unlike Ron which si straight from the heart and not backing down.

Then came the whole Civil Rights ACt and Maddow, and then Rand backed down from his initially statements after pressure. That was the beginning of my lack of support and enthusiasm for him. There are other things that bothered me, but the most important one is the way he softballs everything, but then again on occasion he has surprised me.

You are doing a great job. Essentially ground breaking. We have now an alternative news media made up of everyone that donate their time and information to it. This is the future.
