The Lord Jesus has told us...

Mt. 26:52 "Put thy sword into its sheath, for those who take up the sword shall perish by it."

While this story saddens me the Lord as prophet is again confirmed.

Love one another!

My words after the passage of the 2011 NDAA.

"If I were you I would expect the first open assaults on our liberties, including martial law, gun confiscation and internment to occur between the November 2012 elections and April, 2013. If I were Special Forces, I would be on my guard, especially those with sniper skills, as they should already 'be in the field.'"

Chris Kyle

He was a decorated veteran, devoted husband, father and friend.
He served the US with honor.
You confused dip dunks aren't worthy of breathing the same air as he.

Nobody is confused here

and in case you forgot....he is not breathing any longer.
He received what he gave, death, and now he, like everyone who passes on, must face Almighty God and give an account.

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

I'm sure Chris Kyle was well intentioned...

just as are the majority of the men and women that serve in the military. They have been rigorously taught and devoutly believe that they are fighting to preserve freedom. However, 99% of the wars that the US central government engages these young folks in are not for freedom but for the war profiteers. In reality, the men and women in the military are fighting in service to K Street. War is a money funnel that diverts potentially productive capital to destruction.

I give my regards to Mr. Kyle's family, but killing should not be glamorized. If I had children, I would prefer them to look towards a good teacher or someone principled like Ron Paul as a role model rather than someone that is proud of all the people that they killed. Certainly, I will not place Mr. Kyle on a pedestal and bow to him as you suggest. I do not engage in hero worship. I treat others as my equals and expect the same from them.

These situations are always tough for the survivors. I wish them well through the grieving process.

I'll leave it at that for now. I need to call a friend that lost his dad yesterday to a heart attack. Life is delicate and precious. Everyone should be taught to respect it.

I haven't suggested anything,

I haven't suggested anything, yet.
But, I will suggest that people, who wish to detract and talk trash, direct their hatred toward the criminal politicians and corporate leaders, who sit at home getting fat while putting the sons and daughters of Americans in harm's way, rather than dishonor a true hero, whose efforts on the BATTLEFIELD kept many of those sons and daughters alive, a MAN, who would have been the first to tell you that he was not a hero. Semper Fi

I agree that name calling is never a productive way....

of communication - which you also did, btw. Even at that though, I don't think the commenters intend their statements about Mr. Kyle to be blanket statements regarding all troops. Certainly, I don't think that people here are as anti-troop as those antiwar protesters that spit at the men and women returning from Vietnam. I do think many of the people here that have listened to what Mr. Kyle has had to say have opinions based on his comments and are speaking from their impressions of him.

Personally, I respect the troops for their intentions. The government has good propaganda that only works better in a totalitarian organization such as the military. I doubt it's easy for an active duty person to "wake up."

However, I do sometimes wonder how many of the men and women in the military have ever read the Constitution which they have sworn an oath to protect. It should be a mandatory part of basic training - understanding the Constitution, that is. If they did, they would find that any war not declared by Congress is unconstitutional, and as a result, any order given in the execution thereof should also be considered unconstitutional. What if our king called for a war, but no one showed up?

I'm sure that Mr. Kyle did save lives. Further, I'm sure that he did what thought he had to do - as does most everyone that is put in that situation. I doubt too many people hold that against him. I just think people didn't like what he had to say after the fact.

I would like to say that I don't agree that people that serve in the military should be held in any higher regard than other people. Doing so makes children want to be like them which just feeds more youths to the war racket. We need to celebrate people that stand against government tyranny rather than the people that are used as tools to execute it. That's not to say that the troops should be put down or disrespected collectively. I'm just saying that children should be persuaded against enlisting in the military and be made aware of the true state of affairs.

Hi my dw, can I have a moment of your time here: http://www.dailypaul.com/273372/calling-all-friends-of-liber...

You are an educated person...quantum physics of something like that...or maybe it was some kind of chemistry...yes, that is sounding better...

Anyways can you use some of your intelligence to help in my post? I don't want the Daily Paul to go away.

One less state sanctioned mass murderer

Didn't News Corp publish his book?

Fox etc will milk this dry, filling the bookshelves of NeoCons everywhere.

What kind of society has heroes that kill 150 people and brag about it?

couldnt have happened to a better fella. the irony of a sharpshooter getting shot point blank is priceless. god, ur sense of justice, tinged with an appropriate sense of humor, always seems to re affirm my flagging belief in your existence. and thus i sing your praises.

now i'm just waiting for the film version based on a true story except where kyle uses navy seal judo to snatch the gun and takes everyone out.

fuck off

Bill3 is exactly right. He was a professional murderer.

I bet HELL swallowed this guy up.

Now if some ptsd vets would

Now if some ptsd vets would just take out more high profile war profiteers. Ok, that wasn't nice. Sorry. Maybe they'll have an epiphany of remorse and kill theirselves Le Mis style. Ok, that wasn't nice either.

maybe this is karma?

Condolences to his family and friends. Its always terrible when someone's life is taken.

But this guy was spreading lies about Jesse Ventura. He was also on Fox news bragging about his kills in combat. He was also in favour of war.

What goes around comes around.

He did like killing after all so I guess he is happy now.

Kind of wonder if someone

Kind of wonder if someone paid him to lie about Ventura then killed him to shut him up before Jesse got him in court.?

It is easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled. – Mark Twain

This is the seal that lied about Ventura

Alleged confrontation with Jesse Ventura

While promoting his book on the Opie and Anthony Radio Show on January 4, 2012, Kyle claimed to have knocked down former Governor of Minnesota and Underwater Demolition Team member Jesse Ventura with a punch to the face at a popular Navy SEAL bar in Coronado, California in 2006 after Ventura had “badmouthed the troops” and said that the SEALs "deserved to lose a few guys." The alleged incident occurred during a wake for Michael A. Monsoor, a Navy SEAL who was killed in action in Iraq the same year.[12] Ventura released a statement on his Facebook page calling Kyle’s claims completely false, denying he said anything derogatory about the troops, and also denying Kyle’s claim of punching him in the face or even having met Chris Kyle.[13] Kyle said that two Navy SEALs had come forward with the story but no police report has ever existed.[14] At the time of Kyle's death, Ventura was suing Kyle for defamation in court, and the lawsuit was still pending.[15]

Kyle was reportedly killed February 2, 2013 at the Rough Creek Lodge shooting range in Erath County, Texas.[16] Local police captured the suspect Eddie Ray Routh, after a short freeway chase, which ended when Routh, who had left the scene of the shootings in Kyle's Ford F-150 truck, crashed into a police cruiser. He was arrested just before 9:00 p.m. the same day in Lancaster, Texas.[17]

I've been in that bar in Coronado ...

... and it is SMALL. If that punch really happened, plenty of people would have seen it and definitely would have noticed the commotion in the aftermath -- ESPECIALLY when Jesse Ventura was involved. You can't miss him or his presence when he is in the room. I've seen him working out in a gym, and a lot of people are always around him and talking with him.

That punch never happened. I am certain of that. As far as Kyle's death, who knows? Running the victim's truck into a police car ain't the smartest thing to do.

I wonder if the gun-o-phobes will be out in force screaming and losing their minds about all the violence on gun ranges. LOL.

Bring them home.

Bring them home.

Im sure naked tyranny fears

having somebody like that sniper walking around free, because if he ever figures out any of the lies (otherwise known as the official story), he might become a problem...
