.. the police state they are already building.

It ultimately has nothing to do with immigration, which they could care less about other than two things:

- votes - how their 'perceived' policies affect votes, and

- making sure the corporations they represent keep access to the cheap labor they exploit

That's it.

Brilliant and simply put, as always. Market manipulation is the real problem behind illegal immigration, it's amazing how many people fail to grasp this fairly simple concept.

Without the market being manipulated there would never have been this over increase in the demand for labor. Thus this drastic amount of illegal immigration, (burdening the welfare state and local economies with the influx of unemployed or underemployed illegal immigrants and citizens) would have never been a strain or would never have occurred to begin with. If that boom had been real, contractors would have been begging to keep these workers.
