GOP Expels Another Paulian

Lew: I don't understand why Ron Paul supporters would want to be in the GOP in any event. They should all withdraw from this mob of leviathan worshippers and take their creative and highly-principled energies to other venues.

I recall that the corporate-state wing of the Republican Party employed similar purges following Barry Goldwater's loss to Lyndon Johnson in 1964. Why were the neo-cons not forced out of the GOP following Obama's election in 2008, and re-election in 2012?

Indeed

I stumbled across some christian radio last weekend (and it was fairly interesting so I lisened for a while) and Rands name just kept coming up. The Evangelicals are already on board, and as long as we don't burn the guy ourselves he has a real shot at the nomination. After four more years of Obama, and the inevitable market crash to demoralize even the most hard core obama fans whoever we nominate should be able to backstroke his way into office. Not only that, but if we do our jobs right in 2014 our man will have huge majorities int he house and senate to work with in 2016, and especially in 2018. Rand has a chance to be the anti-Roosevelt, for gods sake let us not be toe ones to deny that....

I'm trying to see what a normal Republican sees

To advance the cause and help influence typical Republican thinking towards liberty we must first understand typical Republican thinking. Here's what we're dealing with (http://www.redstate.com/mikeymike143/2011/06/21/why-ron-paul...).

I'm a 21 year old kid waking into GOP meetings with men and women twice and trice my age. I'm here to tell you that people don't like being lectured by a kid like me. I've been taught you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. The only real way I can reach most conservatives is by asking questions. Get them talking and then ask a question with a truth bomb like this:\
"So, if terrorists are really trying to get a WMD into America, why won't our Government secure the border?"

Then reply to their denial with: "We have 1,000,000 troops overseas but if we bring half of them home we can put an armed man every 200 foot of the border all the way around. That would stop the terrorist threat, keep national defense up, stop drug importation and illegal immigration."

Just like that, a seed of liberty has been planted. A brush-fire of freedom can be lit in the mind of another with a simple question.

I don't think I'll get anywhere in this politics thing making people mad at me and yelling at them when I lose. I was taught to shake my competitor's hand after I won and congratulate him when I lost.

Ron and Rand Paul are true gentlemen and I admire that. Ron Paul didn't go around throwing fits and protesting the election. He politely declined to endorse anyone and went about his business. I attribute a calm demeanor and friendly compromising attitude to most of Rand's success. Rand is making friends, Rand is on TV, Rand is compromising(AKA building coalitions), Rand can friggin win this thing!

Justin Amash is on the GOP's craplist right now. He's not running for President and he's definitely not winning. The GOP will make sure of that.

It's time to make a stand with Rand, be Rand Paul RepubliCAN

You do not have to

You do not have to lecture or remind me of what we are dealing with. I was there in the thick of it.

It is not your approach at the gop that I find troubling. You are caught up in the moment, and that is a dangerous path to take.

It is not only Justin who I support. I support all those who are for Liberty, and promote it.

"Justin Amash is on the GOP's craplist right now"

And you are now on mine. You have become what I profoundly oppose.

I love JA and I shouldn't have brought him into this

For real, I would totally vote for Amash.

I would never lecture you in person, but this is the internet so I'll type away unfiltered and see what happens. These are all ideas anyways.

The thing is, I guess I'm what you call an awakening person. I've been easing into this thing little by little and I think the GOP is where the good fight is.

I know I'm going overboard but I'm tire of hearing "Rand Paul is a neocon sellout". That's just not true and it baffles me as to why people would work so hard to make our best Senator out to be our enemy. It's ridiculous.

I'm cool with being on your craplist, it's not the first one I've made my way on. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from, I'd be happy to listen to any advice or concerns you wish to share with me.

OldNo.7J.D.

The only suggestion that I can offer is for you to select your words more wisely. MUCH MORE WISELY.

NEVER accomodate gop by down talking one of us, such as down playing Justin Amash. When they speak against us, that is when we are most effective.

NEVER settle for second best. If you like and want to support Rand, then by all means. But I would suggest that you first wait untill ALL records are on the table. Promoting him just because mainstream does does nothing for us if/when we may have somebody better. They will distract you until the end.

Ron Paul had numbers far higher than romney ever did in 2010, in fact only 1% less than obama. mainstream was skillful and altered that course.

It is good to discuss and to learn. But this movement can not afford rash decisions such as propping a candidate whose record is not even par.

You are not really on my crap list. But you did infuriate me. Please be careful not to do it again. In other words, think before you type :-)

What Are You...

...a little girl, or some 'modern-man' in touch with his feelings and offended by what another man says that doesn't concern you in the least?

What this Granger has posted speaks for itself, despite your buttinski emoting and faux-outrage.

Weird...

It's not about feelings. It's about WORK.

If you had any idea how much work it is to do what Granger and so many others of us are doing you'd shut your mouth quick.

It's roughly equivalent to calling someone's child who is 2 years old stupid or ugly. Because you have NO IDEA how much work may have been put in to get the child to where they are from where they started.

Some "parents" might have walked into their local friendly GOP and got appointed to a position and others may have put in hundreds or THOUSANDS of hours of hard work and relationship building to take over a local party.

You have NO IDEA and you are SUPREMELY IGNORANT. We are fulfilling Ron PAuls request of us and people like you make it millions of times harder to do so, because you give our enemies in the GOP aid and comfort.

So, if you believe as you do regarding *OUR* ***WORK*** in the GOP, keep it to yourself.

Got News For You

The world does NOT revolve around YOU, Ron Paul, or the GOP, which, I might add, some of us see for the globalist-collectivist part of the cabal that it is and we realize that 'other means' are going to be necessary, when all is said and done.

At that time, you will likely be standing around with your thumb up your ass with a dazed uncomprehending look pasted on your face, looking for someone, anyone, to come lead you.

As I see it, of course, albeit I may be wrong.

Oh, by the way, that was a real nice babble about all the great works you are about. Keep on keeping on.

Anything else?

You're wrong.

But you are perfectly welcome to be the lone continental going off to fight the entire Red Coat army on your own.

Good luck to ya, mate!

You have no idea what's going on just below your

thin crusted view.

I can't freaking believe im

I can't freaking believe im siding with FBI exposer. But I guess I am.

Have fun spotting traitors from your bunker. Meanwhile we are taking over the GOP. Ron Paul people control mine and my neighboring districts, and many others in my state. We have a liberty caucus forming from all the troops who supported the cause in both of Paul's elections to organise and fill empty PCO positions across our state with our own. We are less than a year away from selecting 3 Ron Paul Repubs for our State Rep. GOP here is either flocking to us or hiding in holes. Chances are, we'll back Rand, though its anyone's guess so far.

Enjoy backing whomever the other 10 people in the Libertarian party decide is "pure" enough to loose another election with.

Just so you know, you're speaking to a confirmed

Oathkeeper in LT. If anyone understands what is needed for the future, it's people like them.. so you back Rand and when you get Randslapped and it wakes you up, if you actually wake up that is.. you may like to be slapped around, I don't know...

Then don't runaway and don't whine because of that defeated feeling that's headed your way. People like us are trying to get people like you to not sell out for a "victory" now over winning the whole thing in the future.

Understand, there are two

Understand, there are two ways to fight this.

Option 1 is by swarming and the GOP like the BORG, then assemilating them to do our bidding, thus removing all the power structure in which the corrupt bastards at the top use to control America. If we succeed at this, then it won't matter if Rand is actually a turn-coat because he will be powerless to stop us from replacing him, and we will withdraw all party support from him into the future.

Option 2 is where we stand close vigil over anyone who doesn't fit the perfect model we hope for, then call them a traitor and continue to loose political power and elections. Things spiral into the totalitarian black-hole until the water and food is turned off. Then the news tells the sheep that its all the fault of Libertarian terrorists like you oathkeepers. Everyone turns in their firearms for a glass of water and a sandwhich, save for the preppers who greedly horde their food and deprive the honest people in the FEMA camps of what rightfully belongs to them (your food), and you are vaporized in a drone missle strike while the sheeple participate in the 2 minutes hate while looking at a picture of Ron "Goldstien" Paul.

Option 3 is where somehow people wake up(not likley)and realize the government and the banks are behind it all, having no political power the resort to violence to try and overthrow the government... this is where you oathkeepers may make the differance in steming their ability to destroy us before we can organize. Walls of human meat are torn to shreds by machine-gun nests until we finally either drag the elites out by their golden holes and gut them in the streets, or else burn in nuclear fire.

Im not super confident that the Feds are going to stand by and let the union break up. It didn't work out that way last time. They are definatly preparing for something, and while I am willing to Option 3, I think Option 2 is the more likley if Option 1 fails.

But ill tell you up front. Option 1 is my personal preferance, and I mean to fight tooth and nail to accomplish that one because its the most likley to succeed, and certainly will cost the least in terms of human life. It is a pipe dream to think opting out of the system is going to yield you anything other than 1984 conditions, or a bloody revolution. Its ridiculous to try and win this via 3rd party. That will NEVER happen. Ever. Ever. Ever.

We have one chance left to take our country back without millions dying. Get off the high horse and realize that politics is a dirty game, but you have to win it if you wish to dismantle power. You don't win it by being to good to participate in it.

That was 3 ways and there are more

"You don't win it by being to good to participate in it."

I am participating, I just refuse to compromise to do it.

You don't trust them?

In all my time here nobody has ever produced even a foul smelling fart about them and I've never seen anything to believe it myself.

If you don't trust them just because they're cops and such, that's not a good reason.. I mean granted, I don't trust ANYONE I don't know and fewer in regards to my rights BUT there are degrees of trust.

They are standing up and honoring their Oaths so until I see them not doing it I'm going to give them a little trust.

We will need people like them and if I'm right, they'll be one of the groups to put a stop to what's going on.

It's fairly obvious that "Mike" is a liar...

Also those "OathKeepers" in Alaska.. Well you're probably going to see more of that as things further heat up.. Not because OathKeppers can't be trusted but because those people are plants and not OathKeepers to begin with.

They're working overtime to get dirt on all of the Patriot groups and anyone who stands firm.. You know that. If they can demonize otherwise good groups that oppose them, they'll stop at nothing to do it.

I appreciate you giving me this

I haven't listened to it all but I will.. the part I did listen to sets me on edge and the first thing I think as I listen to his word usage and annunciation tones is that he's IS making it up.. he's being extremely dramatic.

I'll probably play and replay this to work out anything I might miss on a quick assessment.

I'm not condoning anything they have done but that's why I'm so careful and refuse to give any personal information to ANYONE.. you never know who's going to rat you out.

I would ask you to keep in mind that they are still peace officers and some of them you could probably tell something like that to and they'd understand while others would not be THAT hardcore about the Constitution.

That's just human beings for you.

I'd be interested in Stewart's opinion of this situation.

I don't think Stewart would downvote the work we are doing within the GOP.

She is not to be trusted...

I caught her red handed lying and trying to manipulate others about me.. When I confronted her about it.. the arguing stopped and she ran away.

She JUST bashed Amash and Judge Nap.. Amash is new but Judge Nap is every bit as good as Dr.Paul and they align perfectly. So telling everyone that doesn't support Rand that "we have nothing but a jr congressman and an ex-tv host" is bullshit. Not to mention all of the times she promoted that she HAD to vote for Romney and she was going to hold them to the Constitution.. Hogshit... All she was doing was trying to manipulate people into following her moves.

I swear you Rand haters are like hipsters.... "I liked Ron Paul before it was cool." "Rand is such a conformist"

The GOP is big on loyalty and here's a newsflash. Watching the "crazy Ron Paul delegates" circle the convention protesting didn't give the liberty movement much credit in the loyalty department. The old guard GOP is suspicious of us, Rand is helping calm those suspicions and represent Libertarian philosophy in battles he can win or significantly influence.

The difference between Rand and Ron IMO is that Rand knows how to pick his battles and not make enemies.

and the difference between Ron and Rand is.. Ron has the guts

I can't fucking wait too because I'll be there to let you know.

I'm not a Rand hater but you are a Rand apologists because you have NO idea what's going through his head.. at least with Ron, he has a 25 year track record to look at.. Rand is neocon-lite.. He'll never do 1/100th of what his Father would have done in office.

Key words: "would have done"

Ron Paul never had a chance to win the nomination. The GOP made sure of it because Ron Paul has pissed off almost all of the GOP at one time or another.

I fail to understand why Rand is a sellout for keeping his word to the party and endorsing the party nominee once it was clear Ron Paul could not win the nomination.

Based on the logic of you all, I would say that Ron Paul himself is a sellout because he compromised his Libertarian principles to rejoin the corrupt GOP neocons for political gain. Yup, Ron Paul must be a neocon sellout huh?

That make no sense at all. That's just an attempt to garner some reaction from me lol..

Now why would Dr.Paul be considered a sellout for joining a party to compete when he obviously doesn't endorse anything about them. I mean you said it yourself.. He pissed off every one of them. I don't think you know what a sellout is.

It's someone who pretends they are for something and then switches.. technically by my standards he really isn't a sellout because he was never about Liberty to begin with but I was speaking more for your benefit because I think there will come a day that you people will get a rude awakening. He's going to show himself for the neocon that he really is. It's going to be biblical in more ways than one I think. :)
