GOP Expels Another Paulian

The government political party of Lincoln, Hoover, Nixon, and the Bushes hasn't changed its spots in case you wondered. (Thanks to Jim O'Connor)

Lew: I don't understand why Ron Paul supporters would want to be in the GOP in any event. They should all withdraw from this mob of leviathan worshippers and take their creative and highly-principled energies to other venues.

I recall that the corporate-state wing of the Republican Party employed similar purges following Barry Goldwater's loss to Lyndon Johnson in 1964. Why were the neo-cons not forced out of the GOP following Obama's election in 2008, and re-election in 2012?

Here's my view..

We should not get into these alliances no matter what power it gives us over another country.. it's just wrong. I don't care who is saying it or in what manner it's being said.

As for weapons? Should we sell them to other countries? Hell I don't know.. I think no but they'd get them from somewhere else and there is the free market to consider as well.. Is it right to block US companies from making money?

Maybe maybe not.. On one hand it threatens us or could threaten us and our actions in the past show that. Every group I can think of has been helped with weapons and it has caused blowback BUT was that caused because of the guns being sold or idiotic and domineering foreign policies? I'm going to say the latter. Maybe if we didn't stick our noses into everyone's business, trying to manipulate them into following our marching orders, selling weapons for defense wouldn't be a big issue.. After all, they have the same rights to protect themselves, throw off tyrannical governments and hunt for food that we do.

Oh...

I forgot to mention the interesting tidbit...it seems we are giving the weapons to them, not selling them. i.e. US tax payer funded weapons to Egypt. I don't know if they are calling it foreign aid or what, but that giving was definitely part of the story...you know, in the name of national security.

"Instability in Egypt, where a newly-elected Islamic government teeters over an angry population, isn't enough to stop the U.S. from sending more than 20 F-16 fighter jets, as part of a $1 billion foreign aid package." http://www.foxnews.com/world/2012/12/10/us-sending-20-more-f... (not that I am a fox newser, but I was trying to find some validation to what I thought I heard.)

Oh here this is better, it is a link in the article: http://www.lockheedmartin.com/us/news/press-releases/2010/ma...

I guess this is what the military industrial complex is all about. Tax the public and then send the tax money to contractors and then send the product of the contract to a foreign government for...free...but then again, the fed just prints the money anyway, I wonder why we even need to pay taxes?

Taxes...the next chore on my horizon.

...

I would go so far as to say that the MIC

is hoping that the other countries use the weapons so they can sell more at the expense of the taxpayer. By promoting new wars, they'll have a never ending cash flow.

I know this is a sick comment

but where is the profit sharing since it is tax payer seed money?

That being said...I don't want any blood money.

Sometimes I wonder what God must think about all the ways humans have invented to do harm to one another...in bigger and better and more sophisticated ways.

Oh well, I hadn't talked to you in a while, and our recent cold spell made me think of you...it seems I am way off topic for this thread. It just interested me to hear "conservative" Buchanan supporting Hagel as well as sending arms to Egypt. There are many twists and turns I do not understand and have never thought of.

Have a good day Big Boy :)

...

Then let's make our

Then let's make our own...

How many people have you turned on to this message?? I can say I have talked about a dozen people into this movement so far and if I can do that than anybody can lol. The public's view of the 3rd party idea is changing and we should take advantage of that right now. Like I said we are the media now. Cable television viewership has fallen every year. Internet is winning, so it's much harder to block a 3rd party candidate. Blocked from Debates? Money bomb or make our own. We have a good amount of numbers behind us.

I'm still wondering why not build up our own?

I suppose we can build our own road

to Alaska too but I prefer to use one that's already built.

Even if that road has armed

Even if that road has armed guards that say certain people can't drive on it or they will be kicked off/out by force?

Eh

Yep..

even if.

Let the GOP sink, we're

Let the GOP sink, we're throwing away money at this point.

Southern Agrarian

i donated to paul, last time i checked i don't remember him

sharing it with the gop at large. throw what away? what did you even put on the line that has monetary value? you might say the few individuals there wasted their time, but even that might be inaccurate, nothing is the same before and after the ron paul grassroot. if gop self destruct it will be due to paul people's influence in the gop as well. strange simple minded summaries by defeatists. this is either the quickest way to succeed in influence or the most efficient way to destruct the gop, we're doing both at the same time with this strategy, yet people whine with no alternatives for reasons unbeknown to even themselves
