Disappointed in Rand's tweet.
Everyone who dons a uniform is NOT a hero. They are paid to do a job. They are just doing their job for pay.
If everyone is a hero, that means there are no heros. A hero is someone who distinguishes themselves ABOVE OTHERS in courage.
Sorry, Rand, you could have said nothing and have been fine, but you stuck it in your mouth.

I did not put in a uniform. I didn't have the guts, brains or heart to put on a uniform and serve.
I think it takes guts, and it's not easy, and Rand is correct to salute our troops and highly esteem them by calling them heros.
None of us would be driving our cars if not for them. No one wants to fight. No one wants to risk life and limb for people who don't give a damn but think they are entitled to gasoline because they have a car.
We have a good fight in front of us, and we need to respect and esteem our troops.
Military sticks together.. Rand is aware of this, and is doing the right thing, by showing support to the family.
