That's the subject line I used on a myspace bulletin that went out to all my friends on myspace. I don't have that many friends on myspace, but I have friends that do have tons of friends, so I'm getting them to post the same bulletin on THEIR myspace as well. The bulletin has links to 2 VERY powerful videos that explain where our country is headed... and what we can do to change the tide. Here's the bulletin I posted:

Hello everyone,

Wassup? I don’t’ usually send out bulletins. I don’t forward chain letters or any of that crap either. The only reason I have a myspace page is because Heather created me one at Bumper’s one nite, so I could send her comments.

I feel like I have to share this with people though, so here goes…

You guys know me. I’m a pool player. I’m not into politics and I’m not very civic-minded. I’m like the rest of you guys for the most part… just looking forward to getting off work, shootin’ a few games of 9-ball and suckin’ down some brews.

I’ve only voted twice in my 40 years. I usually don’t vote because I don’t think things are going that badly in this country, and I don’t feel like my vote counts for much (it always seems like we’re picking the lesser of 2 evils).

I recently have been cured of my apathy.

REALLY F'ing SCARY, HUH?

And this isn’t some half-cocked conspiracy theory. It’s the real deal. This guy has no reason to say what he’s saying other than to wake people up to what’s going on in our country. If something doesn’t change soon, we’re all going to be wondering how we’re going to feed our families. A beer and a game of pool will be the farthest thing from our minds. We’ll be lucky to get soup from the soup line if things continue the way they’re going. The way the numbers add up, the economic catastrophe we’re facing will make the 1929 crash will look like the gold rush.

So what can we do about it?

We have to vote in the Primary Election to make a difference. If you wait until the general election, it will be too late.

Like I said, I don’t follow politics, but I do watch the news and check out stuff on the internet about the economy. The numbers are really bad. We’ve had debt before… but not like this. And none of the candidates seem to wanna do anything to change it. They all give lip service to the Constitution, smaller government, reducing the national debt, liberty and freedom… and things never seem to change. This guy has a 25-year voting record to prove he’s not just another liar and cheat. He’s the real deal. A man of principled integrity… far cry from the rest of them. Check him out.
