Senators ask Obama for legal basis for targeted killings of Americans

A group of 11 senators on Monday wrote a letter to President Barack Obama, asking him to release all Justice Department memos on the practice of targeting US citizens suspected of being terrorist leaders with lethal force, particularly drone airstrikes. The request comes as the administration seeks Senate approval for John Brennan, Obama's nomination for CIA chief.
"As the Senate considers a number of nominees for senior national security positions, we ask that you ensure that Congress is provided with the secret legal opinions outlining your authority to authorize the killing of Americans in the course of counterterrorism operations," the letter's opening paragraph reads.

ANSWER: From Congress, assh*ts. Remember NDAA 2012 which you didn't read....... but passed. How's the repeal of Sec. 1021-22 coming? Remember that? Can't wait to see NDAA 2013.
Maybe they're waking up to the fact that they are not immune to every law they pass. You really should start reading the bills, guys.

How about the Sentors remind the Emprorer that the Consitution is the suprememe law of the land and that any US Citizen killed in violation of it is a punishable offense.
We do not live in an effin empire - you dont have to ask the emporer anything - you are supposed to be dictating to HIM.
I give no credit to these losers - they are part of the problem by even playing the game.
Here's an idea - go to the House and tell them to immediately stop funding any drones until this issue is taken care of. That would move things along a little quicker wouldn't it.
