And the PRO-Gun-Control lady says:

"More guns in more hands in more places didn't make people safer. It just made people more dead."

Really? As opposed to less dead?

well

almBERG, every single time.

.ro

that is awesome

.

That last part makes you wonder...

...if perhaps the REAL dangerous criminals are nothing more than government employees and politicians.

1. One tried to outright circumvent the Constitution and State Law and directly infringe on the 2nd Amendment rights of citizens.

2. Another was smuggling and dealing guns to in all likelihood - criminals - the very criminals that our politicians claim are the very people that we need to keep guns out of the hands of.

Priceless!

=8-)

Conservative AND Libertarian!!!

Awesome

People Making their elected officials obey the law.

I Forwarded This Story

I watched the video release of the original Oak Harbor city council meeting about 3 days ago, and this story/video compilation is quite encouraging (to say the least).
I forwarded it to all contacts on ONE of my email sites (and am considering sending it to those on another one).
TEXT/HYPERLINKS:

This is an excellent video compilation of MSM reports regarding the repeal of a ban on personal protection devices in city parks in Oak Harbor, Washington.
I found it over at the Daily Paul.
The first segment focuses on a commiesymp council member that walked out of a meeting in feigned petulance after being confronted with the Supreme Law...
I watched the entire video of the original meeting a couple of days ago, and since then, the situation seems to have changed for the better. The PEOPLE are RISING UP, at long last, it appears.

SEMPER FIDELIS!

Another example of how one person can make a difference.

Luke Y, while carrying, had a little discussion with city council last month about his rights. In a month, he was able to wake up a whole town.

anyone notice

anyone notice the big chemtrail at 00:19 mark - top left corner

yah...funny enough, I was just watching news from this same news station and noticed they had an assortment of 'subliminal' white trails showing up everyhere. i.e.: the introduction trailer, during the weather forecast, etc,...
too many to be coincidence.

anyone else notice the only kind of in-depth reporting carried out by Lame Stream TV is the weather report?

LOL!!!!

This video made

My night! It is so encouraging to see Americans, not only in this town, but all over the country fighting back...there is hope yet!

Gotta Love It

Just got an email from family member, Vermont State Rep. Fred Maslack
said he has read the 2nd Amendment and has proposed a bill on the strict interpertation of it. All who DON'T own a gun must register with the state and a $500.00 fine will be imposed on them.
Ya gotta love it!!

Anti-Liberty Comes From...

...many directions.

Government has no more just-authority to mandate such crap of any individual than it does to debar or infringe upon an individual's fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Just another example of the fundamental ignorance of Liberty that is so pervasive throughout the people. It also is a beautiful illustration of a government collectivist masquerading as a 'patriot'.

Puke....

chill

Be kind

The bill was not meant to be passed Silly.
Hope you feel better after the 'barf'
That's OK, just another example of the fundamental ignorance that is so pervasive among [not throughout] some of the people. The bill was a witty retort to an absurd bill to require gun registration in order to point out the stupidity of it.
Chill and have a nice evening.

Deekey

No Thanks

I never chill when I see dumb stuff and particularly when I see a purported liberty advocate propose a statist mandate on individuals.

Factually, this issue came from Ol' Fred Maslack at least a decade ago and it continues to be regurgitated amongst certain circles.

Here is a piece on it from the LRC Blog...

http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/131921.html

An excerpt: "Fred's heart is certainly in the right place even if his execution, with its compulsion and fines that enrich the State, is as tyrannical as his opponents'."

Where did you come up with the bit about this being a "witty retort to an absurd bill....in order to point out the stupidity of it"?

Here is an article from back then. Seems he was serious.

http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1310&dat=20000202&id=R...

Anyway, I don't like statists regardless of their intentions and I do not cut them any slack because of how they portray themselves.

No retort

This info was from someone who is and has been very active in politics. Reps from Washington call her for information, She was responsible for meeting Ron Paul. He came to the small meeting of Liberty Republicans. He flew in, gave a speech, all had the opportunity to talk with him. That was in 2005. She flies to Washiington to give speeches. Her last speech was on CNN. Saying she is informed and Active is putting it mildly. I contacted her, seems the 'news' came from a friend in the Tea Party. Busy, didn't vet it for date. Her red face is only exceeded in depth of color by that of her ticked off mother.
True, but No witty retort so don't chill, warm back up. [smile]

Ladies and gentleman

This situation is a microcosm of what will happen at a national level. People will not only rally, they will come armed. And the fact of the matter is, someone who wants to ban guns because "they're bad" will be terrified at the prospect of pissing off an armed and angry mob. (this description is from their perspective. I don't see it as a mob, but as a concentrated group of voices!)

news collage was awesome

very interesting to see this collage of news reports on the same thing,
you can see how each different station slants the story/view a certain way.

For instance see how komo 4 news started the story by adding another story on top of it of a guy selling guns illegally.

of coarse they would do that , gotta demonize the guns anyway, anyhow, all the time.

where's the news when it comes to fast and furious , same thing there,

remember if the gov smuggles guns its legal
if a citizen does it STRAIGHT TO JAIL!

fucken losers!

Right On!

Why watching MSM is so upsetting.

Deekey

They Changed Their Minds Because...?

A. They were jointly and individually threatened with a lawsuit.
B. They were persuaded by a room full of "well armed sheep".

In a democracy you have two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for lunch.
In a Republic you have a well armed sheep to contest that vote.

One of the councilmen even spouted off something about "our" democracy.
Welcome to the Republic.

Exercise Liberty.

Great stories

question of the year - the county worker... who was he hauling those shiny brand new guns for? Hummm. It wouldn't be connected w an agency that wants to keep us safe would it? humm, curious. He's on paid leave - uh ohh, not fired for doing something personal while on the clock?

nice

probably the safest place to be in town that day.

those gun grabbers remind me of 1950's racist when they say things like.... guns (black people) make them feel "uncomfortable" or that it's "inappropriate" to have guns (black people) at the (whites only) city council meeting.

For the fat woman on there

who said that more firearms in more hands would lead to more deaths.

1.) AR15 and similar firearms are illegal there (how Lanza had it legally (as stated on several news shows) is an answer still up for grabs)

2.) Murder is illegal in every place I can think of in the USA

3.) Discharging a firearm in most city limits is illegal.

4.) The shooter did not own any of the firearms he had with him.

5.) The school in Sandy Hook was a gun-free zone. Meaning that *no one* had a gun, with the exception of the shooter.(how many lives did that cost?)

6.) After the dust settled it was found that the so called assault weapon was not even used - so why do you want to ban them?

It seems to me that many laws were broken that day and NONE of them saved the children.

Do you, perhaps, think that there may be something wrong with your thinking and the existing (and proposed) laws???

Washington State!

Oak Harbor, WA

They mentioned the city, but

I missed what state? I might have to move there.

Love won! Deliverance from Tyranny is on the way! Col. 2:13-15

Long live the 2nd

Everyone has to stand up and speak on the issue or people will listen to the anti constitutional, anti-gun crowd. Have to stand for the 2nd !
CNN is lining up celebrities speaking out for gun control. Who on earth listens to what a movie star says or thinks about anything? Are they somehow supposed to be in possession of some higher insight and superior judgement? Most are self absorbed emotional wrecks with dysfunctional lives for pete's sake. They get on TV...that's exposure for them, doesn't matter what their 'lines' are.
Tuned in to get info on report here on DP that more children involved in a shooting but have heard nothing about that. Geesh, watching MSM is upsetting.

Deekey

So, some Washingtonians are

making noise about having a state referendum on letting cities decide gun carry issues for themselves. This is what got my attention.

If Idaho did that the referendum would not pass (lucky for me since my town would immediately pass a ban on open carry if not worse), but what would happen in Washington is less sure.

Great example ...

Government ALWAYS reflects the will of the people when they make themselves heard.

Nice to see the good guys being heard.

It often takes the threat of a lawsuit...

for them to REALLY listen.

WA State!

I freaking love you! Rick Almberg can suck a you know what...pathetic excuse for a Veteran.
