Video - Chris Rock: 'The President Is Our Boss'...Our 'Dad'

February 06, 2013

Comedian Chris Rock showed up on Capitol Hill today to support President Barack Obama’s gun control proposals. Here is what he said during the morning press conference:

ROCK: I am just here to support the President of the United States. President of the United States is our boss, but he is also... you know, the President and the First Lady are kinda like the Mom and the Dad of the country. And when your Dad says something you listen, and when you don't it will usually bite you on the ass later on. So, I’m here to support the President.

Apparently the comedian has flip-flopped on his previous gun control position, i.e. "bullet control" ...

“You don’t need no gun control, you know what you need? We need some bullet control. Men, we need to control the bullets, that’s right. I think all bullets should cost five thousand dollars… five thousand dollars per bullet… You know why? Cause if a bullet cost five thousand dollars there would be no more innocent bystanders.

As if Chris felt the same under Bush

Who's he kidding? He's a very entertaining and funny man but a huge hypocrite.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

What about all the Jokes

Cris Rock made about GW Bush? Those jokes were hilarious and well earned but lets have some consistency here especially since Obama has done everything Bush did plus far worse. The President is our Dad? Stick to stand up Cris Rock

Forget Chris Rock!

Remember Doug Stanhope and Joe Rogan and Bill Hicks and George Carlin

"Air is the very substance of our freedom, the substance of superhuman joy....aerial joy is freedom."--Gaston Bachelard--

I never opted to work under murderers

So I'm afraid Chris Rock has it backwards. We are the President's boss. We pay his salary. We tell him what to do and it's our fault if he doesn't listen to us. It then becomes our job to ensure it bites him in the ass.

Chris Rock is best watched on mute.

My Dad Almost Destroyed His TV Set Because Of Rock's Bad

language on the "Boob Tube"..He said, "Every other word out of his mouth is foul language..

Yep!

Thanks for the offer

but I think I've read enough.
My dad was a great guy, but I know people who had a dad that would beat them and molest them. I've had bosses who were straight up evil tyrants, treating employees like personal slaves, giving raises and bonuses based solely on how well you kissed his butt... Like that kind of boss or Dad, Chris?

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.
