Homeland Security Now Owns 5 Bullets Per American
Submitted by McWilly on Thu, 02/07/2013 - 15:54The stockpiling of ammunition by the Homeland Security agency has reached ridiculous proportions, with the latest purchase coming in at 21.6 million rounds of jacketed hollowpoint ammo. According to Infowars.com that brings the grand total that the agency owns to a whopping 1.625 billion rounds. Paul Joseph Watson puts this into great perspective in his article, answering the question that immediately pops into mind – basically, “how many rounds can they possibly need or go through?” Well…
To put that in perspective, during the height of active battle operations in Iraq, US soldiers used 5.5 million rounds of ammunition a month. Extrapolating the figures, the DHS has purchased enough bullets over the last 10 months to wage a full scale war for almost 30 years.
30 Years of full scale war levels of ammunition stockpiled! For an organization that isn’t actively waging war overseas and isn’t intended to be deployed abroad. None of the various missions of the Homeland Security Department and it’s 240,000 employees seem to be waging a full scale war, yet they have enough ammunition for each and every employee to have 6,666 rounds per person. It’s also 5 bullets for each and every American, should we be the ones targeted… something that has been rising to the top of many minds.
And what would turn the DHS against American citizens? Well, take your pick from any of these reasons, which the Obama administration and DHS have laid out..Continue Article

Isn't it plausible that your tax dollars spent
for gun munitions for homeland security is more a government program which merely removes the ammo from the street and, subsequently, causes for an increase in price for private folks because ammo has become commercially less plentiful?
5 Bullets per American...
5 Bullets per American, that's almost a full load for a 6 shooter. I'm glad my guns hold many times more.

DHS PR Memo on Stockpiling Rounds
The DHS is very concerned about the Safety of all Americans so we have built a stockpile of 1.625 Billion rounds which equates to 54,000+ rounds per Terrorist (estimating 30,000 terrorists), not 5.1 rounds per American. - J.N.

If (this is merely a hypothetical situation)
we are the HDS's target, then they are going to need a whole lot more, because (this is just hypothetical) we the people have untold rounds per DHS cop. (That was a hypothetical observance/situation/and uh, ratio/not intended to be tried at home scenario.)
Truth be told, however, a loud, unending horse laugh in DHS's face is our best tactic.
True...
But that's kind of the point - the DHS only has 240K employees, of which only so many would be military/DHS cops. So why do they need that ridiculous amount of ammunition?

It's actually 5.1 bullets per person...
when the latest 21.6 million bullet purchase is added in.
Even the government knows that you can't shoot 1/10th of a bullet at anybody. It would barely hurt.
The solution? Gather these 31 million or so extra 10ths of a bullet into a strategic Federal Bullet Reserve system.
It could be called the Federal Bullet Reserve System.
