Many DailyPaul Members Have Become NEOCONS

and/or hypocrites.

I would say that I hope that it works out for you, but then I would be lying.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

let's nuke ProudAmericanFirst!

he's a clear and present danger to our middle eastern interests.

I'd go for sanctions first

but all options, including a preemptive nuclear strike, are on the table...

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom — go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, an

DIPLOMACY FIRST and then all options are on the table

effectively eliminates Pre-emptive nuclear stikes.

I know it can be hard to THINK this through, but people of REASON are capable.

no no no

First we blow up the fed and then claim it was a group of his friends. Then we'll spend 20 years and trillions of dollars trying to find him and by the time we finally do, no one will care enough to ask why we're still fighting.

How so?

?

I Do Not

feel that the NeoCons really understand your statement. However,,,did you really think that they would?

Joined the Liberty Movement in Anchorage, Alaska, 1977. Ron Paul supporter since 1983.
In Liberty from the Pacific Northwest.

There are maybe 100-150 Neo cons in the entire world

Neo Con is the most abused word in the Liberty Movement, which is not suppose to believe in labels.

Zing!!!

BINGO!

I know 10 of them...

You're a fucking tard buddy. I believe in labels, who the fuck are you to speak for the whole Liberty movement.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution, inevitable.

Elaborate

Please.

lol upvoted

I actually up voted. But I only agree partially and don't hold any animosity. People are entitled to their opinions and am happy to read them (on the DP) even if I disagree. They just better not complain about my response.

There have been quite a few Ted Cruz nut huggers on here...Cruz is a damn neocon, sorry. He is not part of the Liberty movement. Israel (specifically zionists) is NOT my friend, or the friend of almost all Americans. The neocons are no better then Feinstein and Bloomberg. Who are both pro Zionists raping us. I don't understand why the neocons and evangelicals even bother with Israel as they hate Jesus. They even have TV ads that make fun of Jesus over there. YOUTUBE IT!!! Zionists are making the rest of the Jewish people look bad. Zionists are nothing more then leaches, and have done nothing for us other then take our money. Anyone who supports this and supports sending our brothers and sisters to die for a country that doesn't give a damn about us, can go to hell.

And then there are the apologists for Rand's neocon vote on Iranian sanctions.....I wouldn't call them neocons though. If Rand would come out and say hey that was a mistake or at least say hey I had to vote that way so I could get more support on audit the fed. I would still disagree but I could personally look passed that and probably once again support him. But every time I hear him talk about that vote, it's like he's proud of that vote. Granted most of the time he does talk about it, he is talking to neocons so I am sure he wants those people to think he is a neocon also. Then there is the "attack on Israel comment is an attack on the US" comment....face palm...For right now, neocon talking Rand does not have my full support. I will support his individual bills that are good, but I cannot say that I like the way he is going.

I am hoping that if and when Rand wins the Republican nomination in 2016 and he's locked in to the point where neocons are forced to vote for him unless they want another Obama type, that he changes his rhetoric back to being more Libertarian. We shall see. There is no question he is better then all the rest of the senators. He is certainly better then that Warmonger Rubio. But principals are more important then politics and someone has to start breaking these chains of continued bs.

Hey down vote my comment if you want. Doesn't change the truth.

I assume you're talking about people who support Rand?

If so, then please define "neocon." Show me how Rand and, say, Bill Kristol both fit under the same definition, because it seems to me that there might a *sliiight* difference between the two./sarc

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

O rly?

Most people who call others something, are themselves what they think others are. Last night I had a guy call me a socialist because I wanted the free markets to take care of services needed and he wanted taxes and government to do it. Claimed "I wanted free handouts" by letting the markets do it's own thing.

Many people are very misinformed, but none more so then those who have to classify others for their own mindset to comprehend it.

And name calling does so much

And name calling does so much to change that. (sarcasm)

so then we are no better

or different than any other
when the going gets tough, scary,or we just have a bad day
we eat our own?
do we really have to attack the ones on the same side?
my name isn't NEO,and i am not a CON
why can't we draw off or from others when the times get tough?

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

We're supposed to grow the movement and welcome new people

You're only dividing the movement with posts like this.

Neoconservatives are welcome to the Liberty movement, we're supposed to be growing and taking over the GOP. It's a good thing that Neoconservatives are reading what we have to say. try to actually convince them of your opinion instead of making posts degrading them or asking them to leave.

The individual who refuses to defend his rights when called by his Government, deserves to be a slave, and must be punished as an enemy of his country and friend to her foe. - Andrew Jackson

Liberty Movement has two different senses.

In one sense it is individuals motivated to movement by the message of liberty and the prosperity liberty brings when it is made real.

The other sense is of goosestepping morons dedicated to gathering an ideologically pure gang of thugs with political clout.

The latter is the collectivist dream intended to demand top down command and control.

I move because liberty is the only common good. I don't need a movement to confirm my belief.

Sure, a collectivist dream to collectively leave everyone alone

The Government is a collectivist dream that does demand top down command and control.

I'll accept goosestepping morons into the movement. Goosestepping morons can vote and I want them to vote for Dr. Paul for whichever reason they choose!

I also don't think it matters why we move so to speak, but rather how many are moving. We need to be friendly and not cut anyone out of the movement. America was founded on allowing anyone to come here, to the land of opportunity. I would call the liberty movement as a movement of opportunity. We should develop the attitude that made America so great by accepting anyone who wants to be free if we want to change things.

Calling people names and cutting them out of the movement isn't helping anything. Goosestepping morons voting Libertarian isn't hurting anything. We need all the help we can get.

The liberty movement is a movement of opportunity.

I agree that everyone should be given the opportunity!

However, if anyone insists that I must goose step I will dissent.

The posts that claim creeping elitism or neoconservatism and calling for a united stand leave me wondering what the agenda is.

I am all for voluntary association and resist and reject collectivism.

Maybe I am a hard case, but collectivism makes wonderful promises that only pans out for the commanders. Pointing this out seems important to me.

Dissenting is your right

I wonder what the agenda behind these kinds of posts is as well. Everyone should be welcome here IMO

I have never called for a ban, or even blocked any users.

But over 11,000 comments later i've watched lot of agendas being pushed.

Truth and Liberty are the two I support and encourage.

Based on what you've said

I hope you do not put me in the latter group, because I am not a collectivist, actually don't agree openly with those who who intend top down control, or mislead liberty lovers, but I have, as an individual, worked hard to materialize Ron Paul's vison in the party HE chose, the GOP.

It has not been easy, as it's not just the Neocons and their dirty tricks that me and individuals like me face and battle, but those who as you said, appear to have a collectivist dream in a liberty movement, where they seems to think it's ok to replace one form of corruption with another, as long as it's in the name of "liberty".

Yes that is the danger I see..

they seems to think it's ok to replace one form of corruption with another, as long as it's in the name of "liberty".

The Granger I've long ago decided that your heart was in the right place.

I often called for a "Full Court Press", knowing that we can move together but most were independents that had the best insight as to their personal strengths and options were.

Dr. Paul himself called for a revolution of ideas where marx called for revolutionary movements.

Marx was a sadist who dreamed of violent revolution and spent his life creating the divisions to make his dreams come true.

I prefer a revolution of ideas.

Free includes debt-free!

rEVOLution of ideas fits perfect

with Ron paul's statement that, you can not stop an idea that's time has come.

Says who?

Says who?

Really? Oh no...

What do suggest I do? Is there a way to ward this off? ...I don't want to be a victim....please tell be how to stay true....

For Freedom!
The World is my country, all mankind is my brethren, to do good is my religion.

well not everyone believes

that only the US has bad guys in it. sometimes there are bad people and bad policies and every now and then it may actually be from disliking our freedom (I know sounds weird to even say it). But, yes, for 99% of the time a lot is from blowback in our meddling and funding and intervening in all of the affairs of other nations. Or trying to dominate resources or "guide" a nation's political direction etc. But, maybe some here are not hardcore RP people yet. Did you consider that? Maybe they need to learn and come to the conclusions that many of us have as perhaps you yourself did at one time. patience and resolve and facts and education can be the best weapon for changing that. This is why Ron Paul is amazing to me he stood his ground and didn't become an a-hole (for the most part) over the course of decades. Just educating and learning and educating and preaching and advising and warning and educating. Slowly but surely we all got there.

Also, it adds some good dialouge to the mix as opposed to the one sidedness that we can see here. I would rather be one to have an in depth discussion with someone whom I have a differnce of opinion or belief on than simply blast them and label them a bloodthirsty neocon. neither side actually feeling like anything was accomplished.

btw - why do we call left leaning individuals neocons...shouldn't they be something like neolibs?

The original neocons were followers of Trotsky

To be a neoconservative, a new conservative is an oxymoron. Propagandists for central control have a long history starting with Alexander Hamilton and his proto-marxist progressive plan he named the "American System."

Daniel Webster, Henry Clay John Calhoun and the Whig Party were proponents of the American System.

Abraham Lincoln destroyed the Republic and created a Union with central control that killed more to further State worship than any in history.

In the 1984 while Rush Limbaugh was warning us of the "liberal" threat the Left Wing progressives and Marxists were busy infiltrating the Republican Party structures. Finally, FOX New hired William Krystal the son of the Godfather of Neoconservatism, Irving Krystal.

While Rush kept our attention focused on port, the progressives where boarding on the starboard.

Better to look at men's agendas than the label they take or are given.

Neo as in New

as in New World Order
Neoliberal is the other half of that coin.

Together, they have eliminated conservatives and liberals alike, and why there is "no difference" between parties.
