True
The fake started with US socialist-progressives first. Our Blue Republicans, populists and other parrots have brought it here.
Why don't you look up the quotes yourself?
Quote from Benjamin Franklin in the beginning of the video about the British Revolution.
"The refusal of King George III to allow the colonies to operate an honest money system, which freed the ordinary man from the clutches of the money manipulators, was probably the prime cause of the Revolution."
Source:

That's not a source
Where did she get the quote, that's the question? Did you even read my post, I said I did look for a source of the quote as well as a whole thread on the DP here did.
http://www.dailypaul.com/70002/ben-franklin-quote-prime-caus...
I can't believe people are voting down my comment. What you people want to go around telling other people fake quotes? What the hell is the use of supporting a fake quote?
And MAYBE it isn't fake, MAYBE someone can find a credible source, but until then I have to believe it is because it contradicts other statements made by Franklin and no one has came up with a source yet. 9 times out of 10 when it's that hard to source a quote it's because it's fake.
What is considered a credible
source by your standards? I'm not saying you should believe every quote you read, but if you do some investigative research you'll find the quote certainly did not originate from this video creator.
Thomas Jeffersons' famous quote calling the central bankers a den of venomous thieves would not be sourced by your standards and yet everyone, even common folk, quote it as gospel. I do not imply that just because a "quote" is mimicked by the public that it should be used as proof of its existence, but you can't just deny its existence because you don't see a direct YT recording of it or a personal memoir quoting it.
Well
Books written in 2010 definitely don't qualify to be a credible source of a person who has been dead for over 200 years. And that's what you tried to give me for a source, kind of arrogantly I might add. Now you come and tell me "if you do some investigative research" like you haven't read my comments where I have repeatedly said myself and others on this site have researched this quote for authenticity and came up empty. Did you not see the thread link I posted? I also stated I had researched this quote before this video in my original comment:
"The Ben Franklin quote just a minute into the video is a quote I've heard before and researched for the source and cannot find one."
See how I said I had heard it before? Then I said I researched for a source? Do you have a reading comprehension problem?
What do I need for credible resource? Something from the time period that confirms the person said it or wrote it.
And you seem to be confused about Thomas Jefferson as well, the den of vipers quote is from Andrew Jackson and there is plenty of evidence to the source of that quote. But if you are talking about this quote of Jefferson that people often repeat:
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them, will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
You can easily find that is a fake, and it is one of the quotes often used in documentaries that I was referring to actually.
You're totally right, of
You're totally right, of course. I've seen some quotes mangled a dozen different ways, and others that compelling evidence indicates are totally misattributed.
The end of Daily Paul
Just watch this video, and it will explain just about every other topic on Daily Paul... the only thing it does not do, is name names. I did some research though, and easily found the names of the individuals who profit from the Fed... the main family is the Rothschilds... and inbred group of low-key bankers that have been around for over 250 years... these are the wizards behind the curtain.
Where Have You Been?
Old news.
skippy
You have to watch this video
It does need a better title though. May I suggest "HOLY SH*T"
I rarely save videos, but I downloaded this one to my hard drive.

Rivero accussed some posters here of being banker shills!!!
On his radio show, Rivero mentioned this Daily Paul post, then said it was obvious that some posts were made by banker shills. The reason? Becasue some people don't believe that sovereign fiat money is better than banker fiat money. It made me roll my eyes. Rivero is great on most things, but on some things he gets it wrong and sounds like a radical leftist. I think sovereign fiat money is fine, just allow hard money to have the same legal standing and compete. Then we will see what money wins out.
As long
as a) government collects taxes in FIAT and b) sound money is convertable into dollars or other FIAT, FIAT wins.
Exactly
Have it your way if you want sovereign fiat money, but see what happens if you allow gold and silver currency to compete.
Is anyone actually so gullible...
...to fall for the lie that banksters are behind it all? Now I know how a given generation's useful idiots are tricked into reaching critical mass.
Let me guess: "Caroll Quigley, Caroll Quigley!"
Ha, u-s-e-f-u-l-i-d-i-o-t-s.
You got it right, Vanmind.
Our newly converted suffer from three mistakes
1) they parrot others and do not use their own rational faculty; in addition, they assume youtube clips as a legitimate source of facts simply on faith.
2) they feel being rightious, believeing they finally posess the truth.
3) they have a severe case of Dunning–Kruger syndrome.
This is the toughest issue for newbees to get their head around.
I didn't believe it myself until I did some research on the central banks and the history of America.
Basically if you accept this, you must realize there are people so ruthless they will do any thing to keep control. Your life means nothing to them, we are all just pawns to control.
Even President Andrew Jackson has a saying on his tombstone "I killed the banks" because he shut down the central bank of the time.
The Great Depression was caused by the FED withdrawing the money supply. The banksters went about buying up all the assets owned by the people for pennies on the dollar. The only problem they couldn't get the economy stared again so they started WWII.
Iceland figured it all out a few years ago, the people run the banks out of the country. Then when they found out how corrupt they were so they tried to get them back to put them on trail. Now you hear nothing about Iceland they are shut out from any media coverage, even though this was the biggest event in their history.
Gold standard: because man can not be trusted to control his greed
With all due respect Vanmind...
...your comments say to me that you may be the useful idiot here.
DID YOU EVEN WATCH THE VIDEO???
Probably not I'd guess.
And if you did, go ahead and state the exact parts which you opposed as untrue or not based in truth.
Most of it is just plain historical fact.
"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul
I really love when people, such as yourself, make comments
like that and give absolutely ZERO opinion to the contrary.
Who's behind it then?
Oh wait, you've been a member for over an hour. You must be a Banker.

Bumping this again!
Money is the root of all evil, so for those who always complain about not addressing the real problems, you need to watch this video!
We blame the Government
We blame Wall St.
We blame the Police State
We blame the Surveillance State
We blame the War Machine
We blame Lobbyists
We blame Corporate Media
We blame Big Pharma
We blame Monsanto
We blame the TSA
We blame Guns
We blame Drug Wars
We blame Oil Wars
We blame Corporations
And the Banksters keep it all funded. We need to seriously think about a world where banks have no power. None. And we need to demand people go to jail. We need to "ICELAND" this sh**!!!

Not only do we blame the wrong ones
We also continue to support the banksters. We don't tax them, we keep paying money to all parts of society which we know goes straight to them and in fact, we bail them out with nothing more than their word.
Even the mention of how to put an end to this gets very little discussion. http://www.dailypaul.com/274256/what-the-root-solution-could-be It's like people aren't ready for the action phase.
YUP...Exactly...

Michael Rivero gives Daily Paul a plug on radio show.
On 2-11-13 program @ 55:20 into the first hour, Rivero acknowledges the posting of his story on the DP. He then goes on to say that trolls have flooded the comments section in support of the bankers.
Does anyone else listen to his program?
The link won't last as the program is updated daily.

Thanks Steve for the links to Rivero's radio show.
I'm starting to think that guy is a great patriot.
But I need to hear more.

Michael Rivero is Alex Jones, but without the hype,..
and without the bombastic personality to deal with.
There is no doubt that he is a great Patriot. Believe it.
