What will my t shirt company name be DP? Please help.

Hello all. I have been a guest for a long time here and the one time i tried to get an account they weren't working, i just wanted to post some news that was on less then an hour later anyway.. I never needed to voice anything because you all have a good way of arguing through things, which in the end, educates everyone more.. Like a torrent where everyone exchanges little pieces, and then finally the whole thing can be seen by everyone, faster and better.. but anyway sorry for getting sidetracked, just wanted to show my appreciation first.

Im starting a t shirt company that will have mostly political messages. It will be pro liberty/freedom, and anti military industrial complex/FED (is that better and less confusing?). The same as the average daily paul reader who I deem smarter then the average MSM viewer.. With the messages of civil disobedience, civil resistance, and the reEVOLution.

Which name do you like best, and also if you have a suggestion for another name to consider please note them for us and me to consider.. A lot of my ideas were already taken or used in places i didnt like.

- Repo The Republic inc
- Repo Our Republic inc
- Semantic Resistance inc
- Semantic Apocalypse inc
- Citizens Resist inc
- Citizens Resistance inc
- Campus Militants inc
- Thought War inc
- Questclamation?! inc
- Free Thought inc

Thanks in advance for the help DPers, and I will attempt to reapy everyone here somehow.

Sign up for Google Adwords

Sign up for Google Adwords and run identical ads except with the different names. See which ad is clicked on the most. The end.

Thanks for the suggestion..

but wont adwords check it and shut to down since it would lead nowhere. Or is there places I can send it without adwords caring or noticing like zazzle or one of the aforementioned online t shirt printer places like that? I started an adwords account for my last business, and ran into lots of problems. So I would do it if it didnt jeopardize my ability to use it once i actually start my business/website.

You can buy a few random

You can buy a few random domain names for pennies for the sole purpose of checking the stats and click through rates. Tim Ferris describes the process more in depth either in 4HWW or on his blog.

Thanks for the response and help all!

Sweet, I will take the ideas that were liked and not already being used and narrow it down for a final verdict on a small selection. Thanks for your help everyone, and thanks for adding your piece, and liberty.

You are starting T-Shirt company.

"Im starting a t shirt company that will have mostly political messages. It will be pro liberty/freedom, and anti military industrial complex/FED (is that better and less confusing?). "

Suggestion:
"Here is a T-shirt company that I created to project positive political messages. I am pro liberty & freedom. [Insert your good points here].

The military industrial complex is over built. The Federal Reserve System (The Fed) over funds it. (is that better and less confusing?). [Deflect bad points here]

Please help me send clear messages to promote what we like. Let us laugh out of existence what we don't. Please help me:

Grammatical Warfare.

I appreciate the help sir. everything you have said is noted. First... I havent created it yet, but in 3 months, my post may have looked something like that, but i will hopefully have advertisements here by then. Secondly, I am asking DP for help on deciding a name so the last part cant be written yet. Also... "Let us laugh out of existence what we don't " I dont get the phrase or saying, what we dont what?
Regardless, I will make one more attempt to correct the paragraph just for you good sir. Thanks for the feedback.

like.

Perhaps Mr. Twain's point would have been best served by a comma or semi-colon, perhaps even a colon - a rather daring piece of punctuation that most fear to employ. I don't think he had enough guts to us his colon.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

Iffing yer grammar be best'n mine, yer gonna sell.

Just testing a new ribbon on my typewriter. Best wishes.

My last company.

Here are the shirts I designed for my last company. I would not encourage anyone to buy anything from here even if they like the shirts, thanks.

It has since been hijacked by the person who filed the paperwork. and somehow got me taken off the bank account after i confronted him about spending all our company money. I learned, and lost $12 k. Mostly money spent making the molds in China for the johnny apple pipe. But our business could have done good, now I just watch someone who used to be my friend slam it into the ground and bleed it of its money. ahhhh life.

This is why it's so important

This is why it's so important to have and keep a controlling interest in your company. Never give up more than 51% of your company. Ever.

Lol, I like it. I will put it on the short list.

Ha!

I'm rolling on the floor...

To be blunt, the best way you

To be blunt, the best way you can test the market for your ideas us to use an intermediary to do the printing and fulfillment and for you to supply the ideas and designs. Start a free account with CafePress.com, Zazzle, com, RedBubble.com, Spreadshirt.com (or any of the other "free" accounts available from literally dozens of custom printed apparel sites). Get your account(s) going, do your own advertising and design work and see what sells. Then take the 10 to 20 designs that sell best and print them yourself and keep all the profits. The online sites are free market research, plus you get a commission on every sale.

Thanks for the advice.

That is a good idea. I kinda thought that once you submitted art to those places it wasn't your art anymore. because if it gets up voted enough and they use it, they pay you for the design I thought. It is a good form of market research though, your right. I have the design and am not to worried about testing the market. Im just over analytic and have trouble deciding insignificant things. So the name is what I needed help with the most.

No, all of those sites don't

No, all of those sites don't rely on a voting system and you retain all rights. A site like Threadless.com, on the other hand, actually puts your design to a vote, then they retain certain unlimited rights to reproduce the "winning" design because they take on the risk of actually silkscreening, belt printing, embossing or embroidering the final design. Their policies may be acceptable to a person struggling for recognition, but for others it is unreasonable to yield those ownership rights.

Also, I'd recommend starting the process of building your store(s) online, then buy a domain later with the name you want that redirects to your online store. That way, it won't matter which site hosts your designs.

.

Woot, well thanks for that bit of advice as well. I will look into trying one out maybe. My website is already being built. And most of the shirts will have 4-6 screens of color. But there are a few that I could try somewhere. Also, building stores where? Like eBay stores, etc?

The stores I listed

"...CafePress.com, Zazzle, com, RedBubble.com, Spreadshirt.com (or any of the other "free" accounts available from literally dozens of custom printed apparel sites)."

I dont want to run my shirt

I dont want to run my shirt company the same way Obama ran his reelection campaign. Get free stuff, vote for me. and im not as rich as Obama. but freeshirts.com may be available for sale by the owner, guess he couldn't make enough off free. lol.

"Free" as in "freedom". Like,

"Free" as in "freedom". Like, I am a free thinker or a free person in an unfree world. :)

Just so you know, the words "free", "new" and "crisp" or "crispy" are some of the most proven effective words for selling in the English language.
