The "Living Constitution" Lie

"'Let us not make it a blank paper by construction. . . If it is, then we have no Constitution.' - Thomas Jefferson

One of the most destructive ideas in American politics is the belief in a "living" Constitution; the idea that the meaning of our Constitution changes with the times and our experiences. This "loose constructionist" argument has, as Thomas Jefferson feared, turned the Constitution into a blank document, free for anyone in a position of authority to interpret as they see fit.

Anyone with a brain can understand that "loose" construction of the Constitution is an excuse for politicians to pay lip service to the document when it fits in with their agenda, but then totally ignore it when the want to do something that should be illegal. In his book The Revolution: A Manifesto, Ron Paul describes the inevitable result of a Constitution with no objective meaning..."

Simple Facts and Plain Arguments
A common sense take on politics and current events.

The U.S. Constitution, IS The Supreme LAW Of The Land !

Article VI:
....And Judges in every state shall be bound, etc. etc.
Last paragraph:
"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; But no religious test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.

Now, who was/is supposed to "Enforce" the U.S. Constitution?
Amendment II:
A well regulated Militia being necessary to secure a "free" state.......shall not be infringed.

Well regulated means; Taught the meanings of the Constitution, and taught gun safety.

If the U.S. didn't have a U.S. Constitution, it would be considered a "Lawless" nation. {Such as Israel is today}
