Does the Free State Project help the PTB?

Just curious about opinions.

When I first heard about the FSP it was actually very exciting...and still is frankly. However, there was one thing that popped into my mind after considering it. Does getting all the liberty folk rounded up in one place help the PTB? Or does the strength in numbers outweigh the dangers of all being pre-sorted so-to-speak?

This was my most serious concern about the FSP, given how absolutely twisted and evil things have gotten; and they seem to be accelerating things rapidly.

Thoughts?

Not at all

They're looking for 20,000 people, that hardly constitutes the entire Liberty movement numbers.

Saying that.. They haven't reached their goal yet. I personally wish that they'd find out from people , what is keeping those that want to move from doing so. We need to get that experiment going.

I suspect it's the same ole issue of money. With good stewardship, that could be remedied. I'd donate to a family to move as long as the money was administered with intelligent Liberty mindfulness.

Just having people hear about the program and using us to get free moving expenses paid or trip to NH that had nothing to do with supporters would piss me off. :)

Should Be the "Free StateS Project"

This is where I live... I'm not going somewhere else to be "free". I'm already there.

I don't think the number of

I don't think the number of people leaving the other 49 states has any impact on what goes on in the states they leave. The numbers are just too small. Since New Hampshire has a fairly small population, an extra 20 thousand people who love liberty and are active in politics can have an impact there. I hope one day that the project will help a liberty candidate win the presidential primary. Since New Hampshire votes early it could give them a front runner status.

Your concern makes sense to me

I hear what you're saying, and I'm sure that thought has crossed the minds of many as it has mine. Thing is, FSP is not the only thing going. There is also something called Lonestar Libertopia in Central Texas, although in its infant stages. I think having various movements in various locations is going to be key in the future. What happens when SHTF and the liberty movement splinters due to communication and transportation limitations? If there are only a couple places to go for safehaven, then resistance won't be as strong. I think the sooner each of us chooses a place and localizes, the better prepared we can be.

No look at the free state project in the context of 1776

What did the colonial Americans do when Great Britain came to the colonies to tax, extort, shoot citizens, outlaw their interest free currency, and take their guns ?

They demanded freedom.

This is the responsibility of the "declaration of independence"

This is the founding document of the US. Its not something that they can kill.
