So is the DP now censoring / burying all news involving R.a.n.d P.a.u.l?

It is just a question?

But it would appear that any news posted in forums under R.a.n.d P.a.u.l is excluded and automatically culled from the Active Forum Topics side bar list.

http://www.dailypaul.com/...

(If you don't believe me bump one of the posts at the link above and take note that it DOES NOT Appear in the list of Active Forum Topics on the right side bar.)

If this is the case and this has become official DP policy I would like to know.

If we are now censoring R.a.n.d P.a.u.l the way ABC, NBC and CBS ignored him and anointed Rubio tonight... Well then there is really no difference between the Daily Paul and other Fed funded mainstream media / news (aka, propaganda) services.

For whatever reason both the MSN and now the Daily Paul seem to be in the business of censoring candidates and politicians which threaten the establishment and their corporate / bankster point of view.

I hope this is just a bad mistake and not a sign that this site now has a new source of revenue and funding influence apart from the grassroots?

Please Mr Nystrom,

don't throw the baby out with the bath water.
Rand is not Dr Paul, but Rand is willing to be a politician to get to where he needs to be. I firmly believe that he is walking a fine line, and has the best interests of the US at heart.
Maybe he has learned from his father, that being out in the Washington wilderness is fruitless on the whole, and he is more willing to "play the game"
If it boils down to Hilary or Rand, I know which one I would chose in a heart beat.

You should have sold the site at its previous election peak.

Anyway, a sincere thank you for not doing that.

.

I think it's ironic

That you would suggest Michael should have sold the site and yet be glad that he didn't in the same sentence (or paragraph). How hypocritical is that?

Michael has the obligation of being a courteous host. I, however, do not.

If the site is going to bury content & hide truth going forward?

What is the point of having it except to make a buck and solicit contributions?

I know a lot of "pro-send our kids to die for Israel" church websites that make a lot of money taking money in exchange for half-truths (aka, lies).

As I said in

http://www.dailypaul.com/comment/2955753

I have no opposition to pro-Rand threads on the Daily Paul. However, let's not make the Daily Paul into the Rand Paul forums. For you to make accusations that anything but a pro-rand forum is "burying content & hiding truth" is propaganda at its best.

I am not opposed to those who have sincere beefs with Rand

Likewise it is a shame that ALL Rand Paul posts are culled and hidden on a far back page similar to "Off Topics".

This is the way every other mainstream news organization operates in opposition to our candidates and I never though I would see it here, and never applied to all news concerning Rand.

You can give Rand his own page and site without restricting Rand Paul videos and news from appearing in DP home page content.

.

Are you implying that

There's no pro-Rand posts on the front page? Because I see them all the time.

If that's honestly your case, you'll have a hard time proving it because they're there almost every other day. To deny that is to accept bias towards Rand.

That has recently changed.

Now the only one who can get Rand anywhere close to the Front Page is a mod.

And no links will be provided in the "Active Forum Topics".

But if you post about the Great Glenn Beck that dirty a.s.s.h.o.l.e will show up in "Active Forum Topics" for all to see on the Front Page... including his poop.

.

I think it's a great site

Don't discount the back pages.. most folks know that's where the real news is anyways.

I'm (with permission) going to make some business cards of MN's new site/link and pass those out at my committee and the CA GOP convention.. who knows.. maybe one day soon well even get a place to talk about Rand on there as we have here?

I think MN is far more fair and balanced than MSM.

Lets hope it becomes a site and not just a 301 redirect error.

Even still it is a slap in the face to a US Senator who is mostly with us in how he votes.

Oh brother

You've got a real Rand complex, Trenton.

Anyway, time for me to hit the sack.

I look forward to seeing your Rand Paul website. One that really honors him the way you think he should be honored.

I think this one is pretty decent, though:

I agree that Ron Paul would make a better President than Rand.

The difference between us seems to be that I think Rand would be a great President too.

At least I have hope. And without hope all is lost.

.

I agree with all of your

I agree with all of your comments here.

Can I get a

fsckin' aye!

Michael Nystrom's fists can punch through FUD.

Interesting

Talking about Gary Johnson and Rand Paul is "ruining the Daily Paul" but talking about Sandy Hook conspiracy and GMO food is not. In the end, the owner will set the rules. I only regret that the rules were not clear before even though some posters suspected all along ....

Yeah, well

Everyone's got an opinion.

When are the rules of life ever clear? I'm making them up as I go, man!

it isn't the talking about

part that ruins it. It is the people yelling at each other and calling each other names instead of having actual debates and healthy discussions about them.

BTW, Thank you Micheal Nystrom!

This one has lasted longer than most, even survived threats from Right-haven.

The future of this site has always been in the hands of Michael Nystrom.

If it is to have a future in continuing to spread and promote truth it is up to him.

WOW ((((((((MN)))))))) THANK YOU!!!

I LOVE IT!!!!! Is this going to be a link on DP? This is a great tool for me. I want to make cards to share with people I meet at the upcoming CA GOP convention.. and I want to share this with my committee members! How do I do that? I clicked on Rand Watch and it opened up for me with no problem. wow. So it is a DP link? doesn't look like it, though it does, but I couldn't find the Rand Watch Icon. Freaking exciting! THANK YOU!!!

Michael Nystrom's picture

Granger, I'm glad you like it

I think this is a good compromise.

It is part of the DP. It was too much work to start a new site. The address www.randwatch.com should take you directly to that page, but it defaults to: www.dailypaul.com/rand

It is one of the many special pages that Jon built. It is just a different way of looking at the information. Most people didn't like them. Seems people are resistant to change around here, ha ha ha.

Anyway, we're still working on it. But either of those addresses will work.

All art is only done by the individual. The individual is all you ever have, and all schools only serve to classify their members as failures. E.H.

Awesome compromise

I wish ALL my compromises were so wonderful! Really, a great tool for me. Do I have permission to go to a print shop and have some business cards made to pass out at the CA GOP convention with the www.randwatch.com?

aww

Now I feel like a kid who found their Christmas presents early. I always felt guilty when that happened :(

Anyways, thanks for the explanation

why not just go over to the

why not just go over to the rand paul forums and whine? I believe you can find it at ronpaulforums.com

Nice article

Rubio didn't do well at all in his response. He was clearly nervous and I broke out laughing when he had to duck to the side to grab water.

lol

Will have to refer to him as "he who shall not be named". A bit disappointing if this is true.

Haha!

It is happening.

I am not for giving Rand "special treatment" but to censor his voice altogether is unacceptable.

We don't get to hear from or about Rand but we get to be informed about everything "Ben Ginsberg".

This site is just like watching CNN now.

The only thing missing is a section on "LIFESTYLES".

.

How has DP censored Rand's "voice altogether"?

After this thread of yours there has been several (at least on three occasions) Rand Paul related posts on the Front Page of DP.

The latest one of them: Rand's appearance on Chris Wallace's FoxNews Sunday show.

Good. If you don't like it, LEAVE Trenton

I wouldn't mind one bit. You don't add much to the site besides inane comments that add NOTHING to the conversation here. How many comments do you have that simply say

RAND PAUL 2016!!!

Empty, boring, devoid of content. What's the point of it? What does it even mean? Why waste everyone's time with it?

You asked me in an email about how to start a site for Rand Paul and I told you. NOW GO DO IT! Stop demanding that I do it. I'm sick and tired of you and people like you.
