So is the DP now censoring / burying all news involving R.a.n.d P.a.u.l?

It is just a question?

But it would appear that any news posted in forums under R.a.n.d P.a.u.l is excluded and automatically culled from the Active Forum Topics side bar list.

http://www.dailypaul.com/...

(If you don't believe me bump one of the posts at the link above and take note that it DOES NOT Appear in the list of Active Forum Topics on the right side bar.)

If this is the case and this has become official DP policy I would like to know.

If we are now censoring R.a.n.d P.a.u.l the way ABC, NBC and CBS ignored him and anointed Rubio tonight... Well then there is really no difference between the Daily Paul and other Fed funded mainstream media / news (aka, propaganda) services.

For whatever reason both the MSN and now the Daily Paul seem to be in the business of censoring candidates and politicians which threaten the establishment and their corporate / bankster point of view.

I hope this is just a bad mistake and not a sign that this site now has a new source of revenue and funding influence apart from the grassroots?

Wow...

Bad night, man?

I have rarely seen you slip into being undiplomatic. I am not saying your statement isn't accurate or well deserved. I have no idea. I simply know I rarely see that sort of statement from you.

Yeah, well, you know. It happens

Not often, but it does. To all of us. We're all human. I try to mind my manners. But sometimes a bout of screaming is both therapeutic and useful. :)

I agree MN

Sometimes screaming or telling people off is very therapeutic. Would you do it to his face in person? Thats what you asked me about calling Reince a childish name on a thread. I was pissed and my answer was and still is yes. Sometimes you gotta just let loose, then you'll feel much better.
By the way. Thanks for the RandWatch . I like Rand but I didn't like the way he was treated on the DP nor am I crazy about the way others with agendas or pet peeves or projects take the liberties that they sometimes do.
Keep up the good work. Think outside the box and clean-up the side bar issues some more for all I care.

ouch....

ouch....

Don't you know

we're doing our part to make it look like RAnd is one of them. Surely they would catch on if we posted about Rand all the while ignoring his contradictory positions to our liberty movement.

We have to be smart about it and make sure they don't catch on to the fact that Rand is attempting to weasel himself into a neocon position only to bring liberty.

Thus we must ignore Rand. :)

A politician cannot bring liberty

- liberty (free-society) is the way majority acts.
- actions are based on values.
- values are formed based on ideas.

A politician can bring the correct idea to people, but it is up to individual to do the rest (develop consistent path from ideas to values to actions.)

Yeah well

Unless you are going to make a good run for senate, president or some other high profile position and spread the message of liberty, I'll go ahead and keep praising and supporting Rand, Ron and others for their efforts.

The bold effort the present bank had made to control the government ... are but premonitions of the fate that await the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it-Andrew Jackson

Correct

That is the position of RP himself. RP is the living example of educating masses via ideas and personal integrity. But he understood the limitations and was not eager to become the president at all cost. (Against the will of the majority. That is why his perceived "lack of enthusiasm" at GOP convention. He saw the numbers.)

It does seem that way.

It does seem that way.

Yes it does seem that way.

In another month or so this site may just be an extension of the Daily Caller or say Red State using / sharing the same admins.

Hey holier than thou

Instead of complaining about it, do something about it.

Yup, if this is going to be the DC or Red State, and sharing the same admins, then there is no time to waste! Knock it off with the useless comments and get to work! You've got the world to save!

What I pointed out in this post is anything but useless

I lived in Houston for years before I saw Freedom to Fascism.

When I found Ron Paul it was through that flick, whereas the news media in Houston buried him on the BACK PAGE the way you are doing to his son Rand.

Now visitors have as much chance of learning of Rand on this site as I did of learning of Ron from KHOU TV-ABC Houston.

Thank you for what you have done in the past Michael.

You're right

It isn't useless.

And I apologize for yelling at you. I hope you will accept my apology.

Good night.

Michael it is hard for me to be mad at you.

If this is the only mistake you make in your life you are a better man than me.

You have done so much for me and everyone here in the past and I just want that to continue.

I will not be mad, but I will be sad if this is the end of it all.

Thank you friend

But this is not a mistake. Not a mistake for me, at least.

If people desert the site because of this, then so be it. Then my work is done, and I'll move on to other pastures. That is fine by me, and I accept that. The important thing for me, and I believe for everyone, is to stay true to themselves.

I can't run a site that I don't believe in. I believe in letting people continue to discuss, and post news about Rand. I just don't want it to overwhelm the rest of the site. I've been bored with the singular topic of Ron Paul for quite a while now, and if it just morphs into the singular topic of Rand, I think I'd go crazy. I'd have to leave. Then I would sell the site to the highest bidder. And I don't think anyone would be happy with that.

At any rate, we all make mistakes. That also is part of being human.

It was a very special time, running the Daily Paul during the campaign. But everything passes; everything changes. So you just do what you think you should do.

I'm not trying to hurt Rand. I'm just trying to keep my own sanity. You have no idea what it is like to be the sole individual responsible for all of this.

Like the Pope, dude, I'm ready to retire!

But this is not the end of it all. It won't be the same as before - it never can be. But I think that is the mistake so many of us make. We can't relive the past, and we can't hold onto it. Whatever is coming down the pike - we have to create our futures and our presents, every moment.

This is not the end of it all. Every day is a new beginning and you're a new person. Don't ever look back. (Something might be gaining on you!)

Good night friend.
