One of the world’s top cellists had his rare and precious bow damaged after Transportation Security Administration workers at the airport in Chicago brutally and carelessly probed his cello case.
“My bow must have moved out of its cover,” Gerhardt stated in an interview, adding, “and instead of putting it back in, they just slammed the case shut and broke the bow that way over the bridge.”

Seriously, this isn't funny.
Making light of it implies (however subtlety) the the TSA is excused of any wrongdoing in the simple court of public opinion.
This is, simply, another blow against freedoms in America.
It reminds me of the nazi thugs who destroyed the old man's, thick, bottle shaped glasses and then laughed because the glasses looked funny.
It is a travesty against justice and I don't find it the least bit funny.
I'm sure many of you don't, either. You are just so far beyond disbelief of these mindless, idiot GOONS that this injection of humor and ridicule of beauty, destroyed seems to now be some sort of coping mechanism. Groping our children and humiliating our elderly isn't enough now. They must also steal and destroy our belongings as they fondle our babies and degrade our grandmothers.
