Sea Slug Sheds Penis, Grows Another

Japanese researchers have discovered something unusual about sea slugs. According to the Royal Society Journal Biology Letters, a particular group of sea slugs shed their penes after sex and grow them back again, the Telegraph reports.

"No other animal is known to repeatedly copulate using such 'disposable penes'," researchers said of the red and white shell-less slug, known as Chromodoris reticulata, that can be found in the ocean waters of Southeast Asia.

UPDATE: Researchers have discoverd that in some circles, such as in the political world, when one trys to rid one dick, another one is ready, willing and able to takes its place.
