Why the Totalitarians Among Us Love Lincoln

I have read the book "The Real Lincoln" by Thomas DiLorenzo and found it eye opening. Has anyone else here read it and if so what are your thoughts? Here is a link to an article on Lew Rockwell on the subject. Since Spielberg has made a movie that is being sent to a lot of public schools I think it's a subject that needs discussing.

Which makes you wonder how deep this matrix of ours really is. Even if the people fully wake up it seems as if we will never escape the coma inducing society we have before us.
