President Bush To Donate Millions To Paul Campaign

With President Bush’s announcement to give a “Tax Break” to millions of Americans and small businesses, some up to $500:
Bush Fast Tax Aid
If passed as quickly as promised, many Ron Paul supporters plan to donate all or a large portion of their rebate to the Ron Paul campaign. This action could possibly be the latest “money bomb” that would bring more media attention to the ever growing movement.
This is the same “rebate” ploy that Bush used to stimulate the economy several years ago. Even though this sort of action looks good on paper, it is more of a plublicity stunt used to portray the elected officials in a positive light and could possibly be a way to cover some underhanded operations. Any attempt to “stimulate the economy” in this fashion would only be temporary and not deal with the real problem, keeping the economy stimulated for a significant length of time.

To me it looks already like Ron Paul contributions are already drying up, so I suppose a lot of people have given up on this election. The votes have not come in like the money did last quarter, which probably could have been expected given the intellect of the average voter. Let's face it, those who vote do so because they support some form of government, usually proactive government.
At least Ron Paul has ignited the fire of liberty for many who were politically apathetic, and this fire should burn for a lifetime, and hopefully spread. As economic conditions deteriorate the suffering will eventually become unbearable and people will revolt, so perhaps the message will have spread wide enough by then to direct Civil War II toward freedom rather than communism. I am sure that whoever becomes the next president will join Herbert Hoover in history as being blamed for economic collapse.

Yep, I certainly will put mine to good use! I was calculating how much was my total loss in IRA since the Dow fell from 14,000. It is something like 45K! Even switching to gold last month (too late, I guess)! So 500.00 won't make a bit of difference to me but it will for a lot of other things such as the Campaign and the Blackboxvoting.org people to help cleanup the elections!

I've seen this before
I've seen this sort of stratagy used before. Years ago in the city of Baltimore there was a mayor that worked real hard to make his city better.
He was a fine mayor [(but typical politician) liar] and accomplished many things. Then ran for Governor. He was elected as governor to a state with something like a 400 million dollar surplus. By the end of his first term, they had something like a 400 million deficiet. He tried to hide some of it by changing things like making you pay for tags for your car for two years instead of one, raised the prices of getting your vehicle emmisions tests, so he could show on paper that the funds weren't as low as they truly were. Then the idiots voted him in for another term. At that point I figured they deserved what they got, but I didn't deserve it. Well, to make matters worse, when the state comptroller of many years who had done a marvelous job passed away, this man was put in his place. Unbelievable!!
I have seen it in business too. As GW bush once said, "you can fool some of the people all of the time and those are the ones we want to focus on".

Is this rebate coming directly from the Fed or is it going to be added on to our Tax return. Did Bush release a definite time line as to when this "Economic Stimulus" joke would go through?
