Anybody else proud of Rand?

I have watched a majority of the media Rand has been on in the past day. Huge kudo's to Rand. His first national issue was whether the President has the power to kill Americans. His argument is something that is absolutely critical! I dont see Rove or Rubio stepping up to the plate on an issue like this.

Anyone else proud of Rand?

Gee...Let me think...

Would Grayson or Conway have done any better? ......LMAO

Thumbs up Rand !! :D

donvino

I am

I don't care what the absolutist anarchists say.

thank you.

His actions since in power have awarded a cautious trust from me. He doesnt pander to us or the establishment. So far, Rand has proven himself to me. He is not Ron.. but Ill be damned if he hasn't learned lessons from his dad.

It takes an leader to assess a situation, have the knowledge and wisdom to move forward in an intellectual way and LEAD.

I get called out for looking for a messiah. Im not looking for a one fit, fix all. I am looking for someone to take responsibility for our fkn movement so that Karl Rove gets a damn pink slip.

Jussayin.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

The reason you keep getting called out is because

you are looking "for someone to take responsibility" for an enitre movement. It isn't any one person. It takes ALL of us, not just DPers, but all freedom loving people from every political point of view. I like Rand. I like The Granger. I like all those who step up to the plate and take a swing at the enemines of our freedom, on every level.

Stop looking for leaders. There aren't any. A strong leader makes the people weak. It is the people who must be strong and steady. Even Dr. Ron Paul knows how a movement must act in order to succeed. It's an old history lesson and it is still the only way to win:

Bullshit.

Ghandi. Washington. MLK. RON PAUL.

These men are leaders. I am looking for a leader because if we dont have one our movement is going to be fucking hijacked. Beck is proving my point right now.

Herd cats all you want. I want to win.

Have you seen Boogie Man?

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

We need someone to VOTE FOR

That's all anyone means by "leader." No one is talking about a "leader" in the sense of someone to direct the movement from the top down.

"A strong leader makes the people weak." (((Nonna)))

Nonna, that single sentence SUMS IT ALL UP!!

:-)

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

(((((((PAF))))))) Hi, "guy"!

I cannot take credit for that wisdom. It was Emiliano Zapata who taught that. How I wish everyone here would watch that film, "Viva! Zapata". We could learn so very much from it that would help us regain our freedom.

Every time I watch it, I see Dr. Ron Paul as Zapata's spirit reincarnated. Same kind of "leader". The kind that isn't interested in leading but, only interested in making things right again. No, rather than "leaders", they are inspirations. Both got involved because of one issue but, both unintentionally began incredible movements which became a tremendous force against the elite. What more inspiration than Ron Paul do we need? Seriously? Leaders? Hell no! Get inspired and stay that way.

So many people here still have so much to learn about how we finally win. It isn't about leaders. It's about us becoming strong and effective.

VIVA Zapata!

I am in search of the movie, Thanks!

Great message ((((Nonna))))! And PAF, well, 'guy', great to see (read: read) you.

We win when we feel free and can do as we like (with NAP respected of course). POTUS has absolutely nothing to do with my (or with any other thinking human's) freedom. Politics hasn't either.

And nope.

Please post a comment on it, after you've seen it.

Would love to know your impressions of the film and whether you, too, see how it reflects our situation.

Steinbeck wrote the screenplay and the film stars Marlon Brando (in the title role)and Anthony Quinn. It's a classic, so you should be able to find it.

Thanks for your interest, dducks!

I'm deeply grateful

I'm not sure if "proud" is the right word. I'm not so much "proud" of Ron Paul as I am grateful - grateful for his speaking up and providing an example; grateful for more than I can ever convey.

I am similarly grateful for Rand. Thank you, Rand, for being willing to walk deliberately into the lion's den of public opinion and public judgment and undertake to defend my liberty, to do the right thing, to speak up for me, and to provide an example of courage and best effort in a world of corruption and ambiguity, against near impossible odds and at real risk to yourself, your family, and -- certainly -- your personal comfort.

Thank you, Rand, from the bottom of my heart. I am more grateful than I can ever convey.

And I apologize for those who perhaps have good intention but dare to criticize your best effort while providing -- certainly relative to you -- no real ATTEMPT to do much of anything ... except complain and back seat drive.

Bill of Rights /Amendment X: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Do you need a politician or judge to "interpret" those 28

Yup.

I am.

And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

h e l l no

I dont trust the curly headed little twerp-ass neocon.

At all.

Any one who would support Romney like he did?

He is just another NeoCon. A Neo - Con.

As in a new kind of Con Artist, suckers.

Yes, next think you know he

Yes, next thing you know he will scam his own father into endorsing him for President!!! I wonder how Newt scammed Ron into endorsing him in the 90s, too? Those rascally Republicans. I can't believe Ron let Rand speak at his event in front of 13k people in Tampa after sabotaging his campaign and endorsing Romney. Maybe he didn't know Rand endorsed Romey!?!?! You should have told him!! LOL.. Get a grip buddy. You're like those racist people at a Palin rally. Go join Occupy Wallstreet.

Why dont you support Occupy Wall Street?

Indeed I feel much more in common with Occupy! than I do with Rand Who?

Why wouldnt bonafide Ron Paulers support Occupy?

Your credentials...

surprised me.

A member this long has to have endured twice the amount of shit as me.

When Occupy started I screamed from the rafters to join that movement. I understood it was our best way to spread a message of freedom, individualism and personal responsibility and it was shot down.

I reached out to my friends outside of our movement that supported Occupy and was shot down.

Washington was correct. The two party system is causing the failure to overcome obstacles.

I always wondered why Ron Paul did not make a public appearance supporting that movement. With one speech, he could have shifted the political debate.

So I feel ya bud...

Ron is philosophical leader but he flat out sucks as a political leader. Rand is not Ron. Let us all hope that he is half as principled and twice as politically savvy.

Our movement needs leadership no matter how individual we are.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

I cant stand Rand Who.

The little twerp is a sell-out.

You said it clearly.

You hope he is half as principled as the old man.

Hope. Hopium for the masses.

Politician - yes

Principled Leader like Ron - absolutely not.

.You for

Let us all hope that he is half as principled and twice as politically savvy.

Dont forget the end of that sentence. Twice as politically savvy.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Not here... Just another war

Not here... Just another war lord trying to amass and 'army' of followers.

It's hard to see the real Rand through Rita Skeeter's reports.

Some seem concerned that Yaxley may have cast an Imperious Curse.

Washington Disease, It's the swamp where temptation lurks everywhere urging the intended victims with wealth, power and fame.

I think it is premature to aver that the son, is Paul the Lesser. We don't now what will be.

I wish him well and I hope he stands by the Constitution.

Tom Coburn got a bad case of 'Potomac Fever'

which has (hopefully temporarily) affected his judgement. Here's to hoping Rand doesn't catch it. Hopefully his father passed along his natural immunity to such diseases.

Are You Really Proud Of This Guy? Pathetic!

This was WHILE Ron was giving an awesome speech in Dallas. RIGHT when we thought Ron Paul was at the VERY TOP in the campaign. What happened?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3c5odNzKVbk

skippy

You're absolutely crazy if

You're absolutely crazy if you think that Ron had some kind of chance to win the GOP nomination at the time when Rand endorsed Romney. It's hard for me to understand how any one person can be that delusional.

First, let me make it clear

First, let me make it clear that I much prefer Ron Paul to Rand Paul. But Rand Paul is better than 90% of the senators, and when he endorsed Mitt Romney it was obvious to me and to any normal person that his dad didn't have enough delegates to win (even if dirty tricks hadn't been used against them). I said so at the time here in the Daily Paul, and got minused down about 20 points. So I'm afraid a lot of people here were delusional.

Same here.

Apparently, delusions die hard.

Im guilty..

And I may have voted your post down. What I realized afterward is that although Rand does not speak to us.. What he did do is create another PR disaster amongst his most ardent supporters. Had Rand had someone with any fucking common sense, they would have made sure that Rand spoke directly to us through the Judge or at least Cavuto DIRECTLY AFTER ANNOUNCING HIS SUPPORT OF ROMNEY ON HANNITY.

That is what pissed me off more than anything. That is a failure of leadership in my eyes. Rand would have never had a chance in hell of winning a Senate seat w/o us.

Ill say it for the millionth fkn time. We matter. We all busted our asses. Rand or his PR should have understood how to handle the situation instead of dividing us.

THis is *exactly* how I feel after busting my backside for...

I don't believe it made any difference.

When Ginsberg came to our District Caucus in May and interfered with the National Delegate Process, I figured something was up.

At Michigan State Convention, the Secretary of State gave a troubling report about voter registration rolls. Preliminary studies showed some individuals with active registrations in several states.

What was demonstrated is that the Two Party cartel has monopoly control of the Election process. In short the political process is broken and agendas are delivered from the masters to the grassroots.

C4L has tried to be a top-down organization. The process began with conversion from meet-up groups. The training provided by the campaign was top down and the transition to C4L only intensified that approach by blacklisting, wink wink.

C4L, by the start of 2012 was GOPlite. All the control from the top, same contempt for the grassroots.

Well. What the heck. There is still a message to spread. When a majority come to crave liberty, the tables will turn.

Over the past couple of decades about half of the eligible voters withheld consent for government.
