I Hereby And Henceforth Support And Defend Dr. Paul No Matter What!

Lots of things are going around trying to undermine Dr. Paul and his message.

Calling him greedy or a hypocrite.

Things like saying he's going to the U.N. for help or slamming him for asking for a fee to speak at CPAC.

All the good Dr. Paul did in his two presidential campaigns completely overshadows any petty things they throw against him now.

Besides, those accusing him don't have all facts to back up their claims.

In the past, before I knew much about him, I too would occasionally question statements or actions by Ron Paul.

But I came to realize that I was ALWAYS WRONG once I found out his reasoning.

I came to understand that I didn't have the knowledge, principles, experience or wisdom to even QUESTION what he did anymore.

Now obviously no one should blindly follow any leader or public figure without knowing their agendas.

But I've been wrong so often when I DID question Dr. Paul, that I'm giving him all the benefits of every doubt first.

Those who believe in his message must now stand unapolagetic, confident, steadfast, strong and united in his corner because he's getting it from all sides now.

WHO AMONG YOU will stand with me in defending Dr. Paul as he moves further into the public eye with his philosophies now that he has the time to do it?

Let's HELP him put forth his message of peace, prosperity, sovereignty, charity and individual liberty - not hinder him.

You know what's so funny?

He resigned and the elite are still scared s**tless of him! LMAO!!!

I think such a blind support is

unwanted by Ron Paul himself.

The best way to serve Ron Paul is to promote correct ideas of liberty via rational argument (not blind allegiance, beliefs, loyalty or feelings.)

The criticism of RP comes from our traditional morality that sacrificing for common good (say, children of tomorrow or universal neighbor or USA first) is a moral act. Ayn Rand argued correctly that sacrifice is not a moral act but the root of all evil.

I've been supporting Dr Paul since the 1980's

I sure will not stop now. He deserves to be able to retire and still he continues to spread his message. I wish I had his energy.

I will also continue to support Rand.

I'll be standing right there with you, pawnstorm12!

And to those who don't "know" who Dr. Ron Paul is, well, I am sorry for your loss.

There are very few people in this life that I would say this about but I CONFIDENTLY say it about Dr. Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is my President!

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...
Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!
9/11 Truth.

Right on Ecorob! Thank you!

That's the kind of attitude we need now more than ever.

I still hear media rats like Medved, Hannity, Levin, Limbaugh, Ingraham etc slam Dr. Paul (and us) as KOOKS on occasion.

As I said before - I don't blindly follow anyone.

But they want this movement DEAD.

So I DO blindly suspect any criticism of Dr. Paul to be just that - SUSPECT.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

I don't condone blind support

But as for the issue du jour:

1. Let's say the name is Disneyland.
2. It's not just the name of the theme park; all the attractions and merch is Disney themed.
3. The builders post a small sign out front, under a giant "Disneyland" sign, which reads "Fan Park".
4. The builders of the park signed a binding agreement with IPARK Inc (a private organization) that they would not use someone else's trademark or take advantage of a famous name for commercial purposes when they built their park or they could lose the park in the event of a dispute and decision that they breached the agreement.

I like to question Ron Paul

because everytime I do, he teaches me something new.

I believe in the freedom to be what we choose to be.

So are where the questions?

Silence is golden, when the talk is of silver

It's The Honorable Congressman Ronald Ernest Paul, OB-GYN M.D. RETIRED, who could settle this very quickly by making a statement.

Your complaint about the, "Calling him greedy or a hypocrite.

Things like saying he's going to the U.N. for help or slamming him for asking for a fee to speak at CPAC."

These are natural human ideas that fill the gaps when spmething is missing from the story, and in this case, we are hearing much from everyone but, The Honorable Congressman Ronald Ernest Paul, OB-GYN M.D. RETIRED.

I think people confuse The Honorable Congressman Ronald Ernest Paul, OB-GYN M.D. RETIRED, with RON PAUL, who filed the case with ICANN.

The question is WHO IS RON PAUL? (who is john galt?)

And just so you know, granger...

I gave you up for lent!

Can't give up

what you don't have.

I've been seeing lots of negative media attention towards him

What could the reasons behind this be?
I think it has something to do with Rand.
Either trying to get people off the Ron Paul horse and ride with Rand.
Or just more negative things to associate with Rand and reasons not to support him.
The media are already starting in on Rand. I posted a comment the other day telling how CNN were talking about Rubio and Rand's rebuttals to the SOTU. They showed Rand in weird poses with his mouth open, another one in a tee shirt and baseball cap and next to Rand, pictures of Rubio wearing nice suits and his TIME magazine cover.

This morning on Morning Joe, David Gregory said "Rand Paul is off in his own silo". They are trying to make him out to be the crazy wacky son of that crazy wacky Dr. who ran for president.

get off the ron paul horse?

That's not it.

Rand is for the Republican wing of the rEVOLution.. those who do not belong to the rEVOLution are part of the liberty movement. The rEVOLution is part of the liberty movement, but the liberty movement is not part of the rEVOLution. This means, we get different messages.

Ron Paul will talk to Liberty Movement, Rand will talk to rEVOLution.

Karl Rove came up with a VICTORY PAC, whihc is designed to keep the neos in and put us out.. Rubio got $30M from the GOP, and they are dissing Rand, big time.. so for us in the rEVOLution, it is interesting in that the Liberty Movement and NBeocons have the same agenda.. not supporting us.

I gave two scenarios

I think it is strange for all this negative media coming out about Ron Paul when he is retired and not running for anything. Shoot, they're talking more about him now than when he was running!

Lots of Ron Paul supporters don't support Rand because he is nothing like his father...silly reason, because there will never be another Ron, but maybe whoever TPTB think if they can get Ron to look less favorable, Rand might look more acceptable.

I will give one scenario..

"there will never be another Ron"

As long as you settle for less, you will settle for less. That seems like an acceptable statement, don't you think?

I will quote you again..

"there will never be another Ron"

As long as you dismiss those who may be, they will never rise. What I find disheartening is that you leave no doubt whatsoever in your mind and try to convince others that there will never be another Ron. History has proven that you are wrong.

I'm not coming down on you too hard, Ralph, I enjoy reading your posts and agree with a lot of what you say :-) But to affect change, one must be the change. Begin by demanding better, and holding ALL potentials accountable. Accept no less. That is how we continue and build momentum.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Oh my

you have a way with words.

((((Granger)))) Oh my!

I don't know if that is a compliment, or not?

Are you a good witch, or a bad witch?

Granger, I saw your mod post, I am glad that you received everything, your car looks awesome! :-) I am sure you probably know, but don't use those coins in a regular store. Thar-be-silver-in-dar-rounds :-)

I wasn't 'throwing anything in your face', lol. The dvd, letter and comparison sheet was what was sent out to all of the delegates before Tampa. Since I didn't have your addy back then, I wanted you to have your very own for posterity sake :-)

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

I'm a green witch

Didn't you get my email?

Tea Party committee member LOVED your UN AGENDA 21 democrats against agenda21.

Yes, you did

and I should have commented on the other because I agree, MSM is being mean.. we're back to "the crazy rich uncle".

If someone is outside the GOP, I don't concern them with Rand. Rand is a messanger for the rEVOLution in the GOP; Ron Paul is a messanger for the Liberty Movement.

I will not blindly support him

and I think he would not blindly support me.

That said, I think he's still completely right in his position on the domain name complaint as well as the value of his time at CPAC. His time is worth a lot right now, as I think the radio show is going to demonstrate.

If I could print all of my own bumper stickers, there would be a stack of them, one on top of the other:

"Ron Paul 2008"
"Ron Paul 2012"
"Ron Paul Was Right"
"Ron Paul Was Right...and Still Is"
"Ron Paul Was Right about ALL of it"

We used to see him as the anomaly in congress: the honest statesman. Now it's almost becoming boring, because every time he does something controversial, we learn more about it and realize that we were wrong instead.

I mean that with all sincerity, but I still think it's vital that we question everything he says and does. Otherwise how can we learn from him and test our own behavior?

Michael Nystrom's fists can punch through FUD.

If There Were Someone I Could Support Blindly It Would Be

Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder..

I'm with Ron...

I know that people love to smear people with inaccurate statements. That said, I know Ron has a track record that cannot be disputed. That says more to me than disputes in question lately...

Beware the cult of "government"...

On the change of hypocrisy re the ronpaul.com dispute

...when did RP ever say he was opposed to intellectual property? To my knowledge, he's not opposed to IP and never has been, in which case he's no hypocrite, though of course you still might disagree with him on the issue.

As far as the whole

"greedy/hypocrite" thing.
If he is being greedy he is allowed to be. I am not sure he is necessarily being greedy to begin with, but again... he is not in the wrong to set a price for his services.

The hypocrite thing... the whole ronpaul.com debacle is none of my business. I trust him to take care of his business as he sees fit, so it is hard for me to call him a hypocrite there because, once again... it is not my business.

I'll defend Ron Paul when push comes to shove, but I don't think he needs me to do it. He is capable of defending himself. Yes, I'll usually give him the benefit of the doubt, but there is no one in this whole world who I can say I will always support no matter what (ok, maybe there are 1 or 2 people, but they are people I know).

With all the downvotes, I'm not sure this is a Paul supporting

...place anymore.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Well, as far as any down

Well, as far as any down votes goes, your title is like baiting a constitutionalist/libertarian to down vote because it sounds so opposite of what many believe here.

having read further down than the title, you do counter what your title says by explaining that we shouldn't blindly follow anyone. I do agree with you that Ron's character is being attacked. And this whole ronpaul.com fiasco is small potatoes compared to the man's history in fighting for liberty. En-light of what I know about Ron Paul, theres a really good chance that the actions taken by him or his staff have merit or are reasonable. People are quick to judge Ronpaul even within the movement. If the same thing happened to Ron Paul, what makes you think it wont happen to you?

In my opinion a quick change of the title would get rid of most of the down votes.

How about you support Liberty

How about you support Liberty no matter what. I believe thus far Ron has had an exemplary record of supporting Liberty, but you do know men can change, but ideas are bulletproof!
