About That David Duke Video

During the presidential campaigns, we had a strict rule that David Duke videos weren't allowed here. Ron Paul has his own image problems with racism, so we didn't want to exacerbate this with guilt by association.
But now that the campaigns are over, and this is no longer explicitly a "Ron Paul" site, the question is what to do with such videos. As I've said before, I believe that the way to achieve a free society is to act like you live in one, then what is the principle on which we should unpublish David Duke videos?
Duke begins his video with a quote from Voltare: "To learn who rules over you, find out who you can't criticize."
But should the video be unpublished simply because David Duke is a past Grand Wizard of the KKK?
Are the moderators here to serve as thought gatekeepers for what kind of material others are exposed to? What I learned from some of the comments in response to my previous threads questioning the value of the DP, is that the discussion itself is what matters. The post is really just a starting point. Watching and participating in the discussion is where the real learning takes place.
There is a disclaimer above every post that reads:

This should be clear enough. We don't condone everything on this site. The message is the discussion.
But how far should we go to censor content? After all, I don't want porn videos on the site, or spam. At the same time, we don't have the time, resources or energy to approve every single post or comment. If you find a consistent problem with a user, you can always do a personal block of that user.
So here is the genesis of a rule as far as David Duke & similar videos goes: To the extent that a thread leads to, or at least has the potential to lead to valuable discussion, then moderators aren't going to take it down. This leads to some silly stuff being posted. But if the silly stuff doesn't get any play, eventually it will stop being posted. In theory, at least.
We're a very diverse crowd here. One man's tonic is another man's poison. But tolerance is the substrate of Liberty. And that is one lesson that we could all do well to learn, and put into practice.

Double Standards
In the time since I noticed the dust up over posting David Duke material on this website, I have also seen posted Desmond Tutu's letter to the New York Times, and Tavis Smiley's interview with Ron Paul.
Desmond Tutu is a tribalist who wants a tax on "white" people in South Africa.

David Duke has a free audio book he wrote called "My Awakening" posted on his website. Having listened to it before, I can tell you that he doesn't hate Jewish people; he has a problem with the teachings and practices of the Babylonian Talmud and Zionism.

Sadly, this huge property is built on the name of the man who understands liberty more than most of us, who would defend these offensive people's right to speak, BUT HE WOULD NEVER PUT THEIR OFFENSIVE WORDS IN HIS MOUTH!

My comment was only my opinion. I have to wonder why the downvotes? I simply think if this becomes a venue for for expressing racial bias it will hurt everything we have started. Whenever someone says something of real substance, that has the intent not to divide but bring us together, and protect us from dangerous influences, the down votes mysteriously appear. Would you mind listing the top reason, or top 3-5 reasons? You may find your answer there.
Is one of them to bring people in and awaken those that are curious of the "matrix" they are beginning to question? Would you say it "tops" the list at number one?
IMO - it's NOT so much about telling the TRUTH. It's about waking people up, opening up their minds and not scaring them away, as sooner or later, once they're more open to different theories and facts - they WILL find the TRUTH.
You may want to consider a separate topic/room labeled "enter at you own risk", "are you ready for the red pill", or something along that nature so as newcomers to the site, don't get smacked in the face with the "controversial stuff". I don't think it wise to force feed the TRUTH on topics some may consider "controversial" for the "sake" of TRUTH, as the TRUTH will eventually come to them. Some "new" to our ideas, or this site, for the most part need a little "desensitizing/deprogramming"(for lack of a better word), but I think it's one of the necessary steps in order to clean out all the brainwashing garbage the MSM and "Education" dept. has bombarded us with throughout our entire lives.

in your opinion?
I have been called a disinfo agent, zionist messenger by an individual on here for simply having disagreements with DD's past. Even though I explained to this person that I agreed with most of the points presented by DD in said video.
Is having issue with DD's past make me programmed? Does having questions about DD's motives, despite his rhetoric make me programmed? How many times have we heard politicians and various others in the spot light say one thing and do another. I would think having questions would be evidence of not being brainwashed. I mean, why is it so wrong to question the motives of someone who used to be a Grand Wizard of the KKK. This is not propaganda, DD himself has admitted this about his past. It's not like the KKK has not openly admitted their hate for other races....I am all for letting people post ish regarding DD, as I have stated more then once. Freedom of speech, of course. But if one is to post material like this, they ought to be ready for some blow back....that's just expected on controversial topics.

Having said that, to answer your question, IMO SHEEP are people that have been "programmed", taught, educated, brainwashed, etc., into acting a certain way and believing certain things through various means. Those means could be a combination of our education dept(where you're taught not to question authority or anything for that matter), pharmaceuticals(mind and emotion altering/controlling drugs), and television (where you're also taught what's right and wrong from so called "professionals/pundits/experts").
Most people are also followers, they follow a trend, fashion, whatever, because they lack imagination and/or confidence in themselves. So when you stick a follower an inundate them in the aforementioned "programs" - well that's where they're "programmed".
Something I also left out is that times have dramatically changed where BOTH parents are busy working and their children are under different guidance. This leads to tired parents not wanting to deal with the responsibility of discipline and leaving it to the schools and state. Specially since a parent can now face consequences for spanking. Hope that answered your question and no, you are NOT wrong for knowing expecting the most likely consequences/blowback. I'm rather surprised more people on here aren't looking at the BIG PICTURE. I think the main danger from DD is this not so subtle message that Jewishness is rooted in some genetic predisposition to evil. I have come to think that Jews are no better or worse than any other tribal group. They have developed a defensiveness due to years of being the minority with less power, even if they currently are NOT suffering from discrimination. His message has merit but it requires more finesse. Jews have always been in the vanguard of social movements, good and bad. The common denominator is their intellectual heritage. We should embrace people of all types who want to advance freedom and non-collectivism. Of course, some Jews, like members of other groups, are way too tribal and stimulate hatred through their own actions. People should be free to be tribal, but they should not be surprised when folks started to resent them.
