TSA threatens to pat down my 3 year old daughter

Specifically BECAUSE she is in a wheelchair. At one point she is crying "I don't want to go to Disney World!" The moral of this video is that you can and SHOULD stand up to the TSA goons. Ultimately, they backed down from patting her down and just swabbed her wheelchair (a violation too, I know). The TSA agent that said she was going to pat her down said that it was illegal to record her (BS!) and then lied about saying she was going to pat her down. How is this not discrimination/profiling disabled people?

What if everyone stood up to these bullies? Do you think it would change things?

Don't know if it was posted, tried searching, but found nothing.

Anyway, it was apparently on ABC News as well, though notice how they spin it, "At least they got an apology!" "The story has a happy ending" etc, lol.

Story is now on

theblaze.com

This is on theblaze.com just so you know. I know we mostly don't like Beck but use him like he used us. I would encourage everyone to go there and comment. Also keep sending to drudge.

I am 42 with young children

I had both sets of grandparents together last night and I asked them what they thought of a 3 yr old girl crying when trying to go to Disney. They seemed disturbed by it and of course didn't support it. Their generation is CLEARLY responsible for the fall of the republic, they can run from it all they want BUT they are responsible. Worse most of their kids (I guess my generation) have been brainwashed by their parents so its only getting worse.

I think my wife and I , and people that read sites like this are the exception. I think if we are honest with ourselves we might and I stress might make up 10% of the population. So our kids (all very young right now) are going to be in for a fight at every step they take - public schools (frankly all schools), traveling at airports or msm news. Everywhere I look I see strong brainwashing - if they get our kids its over for liberty.

So at best we start with 10% of the population fighting this stuff and even if they try very hard there is no guarantee that they will get to their kids enough before the schools do. Most parents are overworked and may not have the skill set to 'beat' the system. To me that is scary but it's the truth.

So getting back to what we do - I think if grandparents are bombarded with videos of crying kids they will eventually get it - maybe????? The video camera is the new gun and we need to use it everywhere all the time. The more videos of crying kids the better for our effort - that is sad but true.

I am truly sorry for your experience it has bothered me for the past few days I wish more people would wake up.

I'll never fly again.

As long as the TSA continues to invade our privacy. The thought of some stranger running their hands all over my body is bad enough, but to imagine it happening to my child so abhorrent to me, I've chosen to restrict my travels to the road. If ever an emergency arises where air travel is necessary, I'll charter a flight with a puddle jumper.

I don't know what the best strategy is...

My feeling is that we just need to focus on convincing people that the TSA really isn't keeping us safe, though. I've been through several checkpoints of theirs where there are plenty of opportunities to come up with weapons or ways to hijack a plane (that is, if the basis of the scenario is that the 9/11 hijackers used boxcutters to hijack the planes they allegedly flew into the towers). If they were able to use only boxcutters, then what is stopping terrorists from coming up with other clever weapons after they pass the checkpoints??? Anyone been past a TSA checkpoint lately? There is a multitude of material there for terrorists to use in hijacking a plane. Anyone ever known anyone who worked at a prison? Just ask them all of the clever ways that criminals create deadly weapons as dangerous, if not more dangerous, weapons than the boxcutters that the 9/11 terrorists allegedly used. Anyone ever heard of a shank????

I was interviewed on this last night

Pretty good overall. They left out the part about the TSA agent lying about it being illegal to record her but c'est la vie. http://www.rightthisminute.com/video/tsa-commits-pat-down-di...

Good job!

Now the question is, did those news people understand and sympathise with your concerns. Or will they just blow it off and allow their children to be molested?
Just wait until the paedophiles set up at the grocery store entrance to "pat down" any children entering! Give them enough leeway and it will happen!

The don't fly people have it wrong

First I wanted to say great job for exposing this, it is so sad that kids go through this everyday. Think about the brainwashing they are doing on these kids.

I have sent this to drudge and theblaze.com so hopefully they will pick it up.

I used to fly 100,000 miles a year, mostly international and always business class, now I fly less thank 4,000 miles I would say. I believe my personal boycott has in fact hurt the airlines BUT I also think the people that say not flying is the answers are VERY wrong. This is all about acceptance. In a decade when these young kids grow up they won't question government searches. They won't question any 'authority' they will just submit. Reagan said "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." He was absolutely correct - that is what they are going for and they are brainwashing our kids EVERYWHERE.

I think we should try and put some pressure on Disney with stuff like this, I am not sure how to achieve it but it could work.

I appreciate that you stood

I appreciate that you stood up for your daughter, I appreciate that you made a video and shared it, but... They made their money. How many FRNs did you give to the airlines so that they may continue to fund the sexual assault on people?
I had to quit flying. I am a survivor of sexual assault with PTSD who was suffering severe anxiety attacks when the TSA started. Unless and until people stand up for my right to fly without any implied consent to sexual assault, I cannot do it. It is totally discriminatory against sexual assault survivors. The ONLY way to bring change is to force it with FRNs. If people stop flying, the airlines will bring an end to this.
I have a friend who is an aide to a quad. She told me about being hassled for most of an hour with idiotic requests like "lift your right leg." After being told he is a quad, he can't, the agent said to lift the left leg. They laughed about it, but if I were to have an anxiety attack in a airport, a tazing is the BEST outcome I could hope for.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

Many people don't

understand the trauma left from a sexual assault. They seem to think you can just toss it behind you and forget about it. In some ways the feeling left is that it would have been better if they had killed you instead! And it is with you for the rest of your life! For those that don't understand, I just hope it never happens to you or a loved one!
Keep up the good thoughts fishy!!
(when are you doing the permaculture post????)

permaculture?

That one will be a while - lol! I am in the middle of a rocket mass heater build right now and working on that video. The aquaponics set up is our priority, we hope to start the permaculture of the 17 acres next year.
Thanks for understanding, too.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

I thought you had mentioned doing permaculture

and thought that was what you were working on. However, the rocket mass heater is a good one too. Do you know if one can be put in a frame house with a wood floor? I presently have a wood burning stove and had thought about a RMH, but all I found said either cement or dirt floor only.

Anyway, looking forward to your video for the RMH!

Weight issues, I think

If the floor is really strong and you put cement board below it for fireproofing, it is possible. (You are in luck, my husband is sitting right here, or I would be telling you "I don't know.")
We are playing with permaculture techniques at this point, anticipating a total transformation after we get our "survival dot" finished (the AP dome.) I had started to work on a yard we were living in a few years ago, but that was the "show me the note" fight that we lost. That may be what you are thinking of.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

The TSA is a branch of the federal government

They're paid through taxes, not airfare.

If the TSA made the airlines unprofitable

changes would be made.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

Right. We all pay FRN's for this

whether we fly or not. How much you want to bet that if these airlines went under because of a boycott that they would be bailed out with, you guessed it, FRN's. So why not take a stand instead?

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people a

Demand Immediately

that the President, SCOTUS, Congressmen, Senators AND their families must be padded down EVERY SINGLE TIME they board any commercial, private, and government aircraft.

While we are at it, force them to take pay cuts, Obamacare, and pretty much be obliged to live by every single law they have put upon us.

Promiscuity spooks.

That's how the little girl saw them.

Just IMO.

Oh, yes, before I forget:

Spook, noun:
a ghost; a specter.

(Just so that nobody gets tempted to put other words in my mouth. Just in case.)

im literally getting sick and tired of it

chemtrails streaked the sky yesterday like never before in my area, and now I look at retarded govt actors pretending they know anything more than what judge judy tells them as they confront this mother like alien abductees... this country is being molded into something fascist, the milgram experiment is in full swing.

I watched this video yesterday...

I had to think about my response, so I gave myself 24 hours. I still feel the same way I did 24 hours ago. How could a parent watch as their child is being abused by an adult just to get from point A to point B? If you are not willing to get between an abusive adult and your child, I don't think much of you as a parent. Lest you think I'm unfair, I feel the same way about all the videos I see of parents watching as adults traumatize their children (I don't care who the adults are...).

I've had to get between abusive adults and my children a few times when they were growing up. Let me give you an example. My child was in her second year of college, when a hall monitor found her and 4 of her friends in a dorm room a few minutes after midnight, they were studying for a test (the hall monitor admitted this). The rules are clear all students are to be in their own rooms after midnight. My child accepted the "ticket" for being in the room after midnight and when she decided to leave the room to go back to her room, the hall monitor put his hands on her to prevent her from leaving, he wasn't done with her. When she told me about this, my first call was to the head of security, who happened to be a former Marine. I made it very clear, if she violated the rules, she had to take responsibility for her actions. But, if I ever found out that someone put their hands on her uninvited again, her father and I would be in his office and I could guarantee him we weren't going to be happy campers. In the end, my child accepted responsibility for breaking the rules, and the hall monitor was dismissed.

As parents, if we aren't willing to get between abusive adults and our children, who are we willing to get between? I'd lay down my life for my children and if we as parents aren't willing to accept this, we don't deserve to be parents. Standing up to adult bullies isn't all that hard. Once you make the choice, these bullies turn into jello. Try it.

Nothing is worth what this child went through (or any child for that matter). Had it been me, I would have taken my child out of the airport. If they decided to call the cops, so be it, I did the right thing. In case you think I'm a keyboard commando, I've taken on a TSA agent with a Napoleon complex, in the end, I didn't miss my flight.

I agree with you that parents are wusses, but...

Was your kid at college not 18? If so, you're a weirdo for interfering with the business between adults. Your kid was a child no longer, and should not be subject to such asinine rules like curfews.

Please come join my forum if you're not a trendy and agree with my points of view.

.

You sound like a naive 18 year old. What power do you think an 18 year old has going up against a 50 year old former Marine? Before you expend any mental energy thinking about this, let me answer the question for you, none. On the other hand, as parents, we have the power to resolve the matter.

If you don't like the rules where you go to college, drop out or attend another college.

I didn't know

6 year old kids hijacked our planes in 2001 and flew them into the world trade towers. Hmm I could of sworn they were grown men.

I got sick to my stomach watching this

What made it worse was the ignorant TSA boot lickers commenting on youtube.

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

Please "like" the video

More dislikes than likes right now...TSA must have sent out a memo...

Probably most people here don't like the video

What happened to her is an outrage.

Looks like they have their cyber goons on it.

Thanks everybody.

I just want to say that I strongly disagree with people that suggest the solution is not flying. Why should I stop flying? They're the ones that suck. I think that that is exactly what the TSA wants...to restrict our freedom of movement. And look, we certainly did not set off on a mission of civil disobedience when we got to the airport with 3 children on the way to freaking Disney, but if we can do it, anyone can.
