Government Pushes Annual Inspections of Gun Owner’s Homes

"I ask, Sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people. To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them." -George Mason

Falling in line with the king's orders and government municipalities and agencies push to confiscate guns from Americans, a Washington State Gun Control bill, SB 5737, would ban the use of semi-automatic rifles, ban guns and clips with more than 10 bullets, and dictatorially authorize sheriffs, police, and government to without warrant (not that a warrant makes it fine) "inspect" the homes of gun owners.

As Journalist Danny Westneat of the Seattle Times describes on Washington Gun Control:

"Forget police drones flying over your house. How about police coming inside, once a year, to have a look around?"

Washington State is no longer worthy of its name.

Old George would not approve of this state being named after him anymore.

I sugest a new name for Washington...WILSON - in honor of the WORST president ever.

We don't deserve being named after the father of our country.

So...
WILSON STATE.

I live in Wilson State.

We could change the state flag to red instead of gereen. With a hammer and sickle for effect.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."

That's all I can say. It fits the bill.

On a parallel note

This post is interesting that it was posted today. Near my residence a developer has building a home for roughly 2 months now.

I have been rougly keeping track. That tyvek paper is still on and they just got the shingles on last week.

It is the usual 2-storey home with 2 car garage. I saw that the building inspector was there today. Most likely he is going to give the go ahead for whatever needs to be done next.

My concern is that this inspector and perhaps others know full well this untreated wood structure has been standing in many rain storms and fluctuations in temperatures. The particle board must be coming apart imo. I know it does not take long on a basic shed. How can an inspector give an OK on something like this? I feel that I should inform the the poor souls that buy the place in the future if it has not already been spoken for.

Obviously they will slap the siding on and voila lol

My point is the inspections and inspectors for anything only seem to be there for their jobs and municipal revenues and insurance companies. Do inspectors really believe people will be investing so many funds into a home or other things if they are not there and not make sure things are in proper working order?

I absolutely have very limited confidence in inspectors today whether it be food, buildings, vehicles, or other. Not to mention it just more red tape and infringement of people's happiness imo.

Did they push the pot agenda

with the intent of making people lazy enough to accept this horsecrap?

Ok, I just need to say...

... if Pot makes you lazy then spoons make you fat and guns jump out of safes and kill people left and right. Damn, UN-plug from the propaganda already.

I wanted to add one to your analogies....governments make us safe..

Governemtn pushes anal inspections

Butt Plugs sold out across America. At some point this Governemnt is going to press some law that is going to awaken the sleeping giant. On that day this will end.

Kudos.

Excellent article, and a topic that needs some coverage for certain.

Sorry Knight, I was wondering that.

But I have no way of knowing it. I can revert it if you wish.
