Ron Paul is calling school to order

Ron Paul isn’t wasting any time in retirement. The former presidential candidate, who left Congress in January, is working on a book about education.

New School Manifesto will be released by Grand Central on Sept. 17. The publisher describes the upcoming book as “a focused guide to Dr. Paul’s position, which centers on a strong support for home schooling and free market principles applied to education. He makes the case for individual freedoms as they pertain to educating our children, and nimbly dissects the most pressing issues that need to be addressed from the libertarian point of view.”

New School Manifesto will also reportedly provide a history of American schooling and a critique of what went wrong.

Long Live Ron Paul

A living legend still continues! This man is having what, his 5th, 6th, 7th successful career path? He inspires me, and makes me feel lazy all at the same time.

I'm SO HAPPY RP is starting his REAL Campaign..

The Champion of the Constitution and the ONLY politican, err (ex-politican) I would guard with my life!

RP Podcasts, radio updates, speeches, etc. all wonderful! There are only a few people I can't get enough of...Ron Paul and Judge Nap top my list but Stewart Rhodes is working his way to the top too!

Just the guy I'd turn to for a treatise on education!

Remember crazy Uncle Ron going on about the unsustainability of multiple wars? Boop! Boop! NOW he's writing about the unsustainability of an education system that not only continues to fail millions of students (graduating high school at an 8th Grade level, if they graduate at all) but indoctrinates them with a worldview that can be antithetical to their country's founding ideals, the beliefs of their religions, and the values of their parents! Boop! Boop!

Should read the books by John Taylor Gatto in the meantime. Weapons of mass instruction, dumbing us down, and The Underground History of American Education. There is also a great video out by tragedy and hope.com, called The Ultimate History Lesson: A Weekend with John Taylor Gatto. It's free and in HD. Here is a link https://www.tragedyandhope.com/th-films/the-ultimate-history...

Take the time to read what this amazing man has produced. I put this man on the same level as Tom Woods, Lew rockwell, and Peter schiff.

I've already done all of the above

and the Underground History book is online at his site for free. He is great fun to read and listen to. You will also understand social engineering and those who benefit from it have gamed the whole educational system for their purposes.

I'm ecstatic about this!!!

is this book goin to call for ending all govt education?

Or just returning it to the states?

I assume he'll definitely

I assume he'll definitely explain that our Constitution allowed for it to be done at the state level and no higher and then he will progressively build the case why a free market is critical for quality education.

It seems he has chosen his battleground

His first speaking engagement is at a homeschooling Convention. Not a bad plan, try to get information to the most open minds left in the country.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Unfortunately most homeschoolers are neocons

but maybe Dr. Paul can help change that.

Home schooling parents learn

more than their children do. This is excellent parental education as well as for the younger students.

that's not been my experience at all - not that I know that many

home schoolers but the ones I know or have met are far from neocons.

Glad your experience has been different from mine

I'm in Pennsylvania.

Still quite a lot of

Ron Paul supporting homeschoolers though :)
