Koreans didn't bat an eye to this or the nuclear test. The North has been promising to turn Seoul into a sea of fire for so many years now that the words have become meaningless.

The fact is that the Nork government has to appear beleaguered and surrounded by enemies to maintain national unity. Their chubby new "Dear Leader" is spoiled on Western luxuries and won't risk losing that lifestyle in a war.

As you may have guessed, the American media gleefully considers everything the North says to be a prelude to WWIII. South Korea's media treats it more like a crazy uncle who shoots his shotgun at airliners that fly over his property.

. NK certainly does like to talk though. Kind of makes you wonder what so much continuous "poking" does for their agenda.
