Gun control

So, I had a conversation with an expat from the Netherlands who is for gun control and he was telking me about how easy it is to get guns in the US. So is the answer getting guns out of Walmart and only in specialty stores rather than banning all together? Compremise without the complete ban???????????????

The second amendment
