Whoa!

Chris, that was incredible.

I know, right?

Thought you might have overlooked this when I first posted it.

It really helps explain quite a bit how the 'first we decide emotionally, then we justify logically' theory works.

p.s. If you tell me you've never read Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams I will simply not believe you. The greatest book ever by the dearly departed Douglas Adam's of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fame:

what did you post that explains...

"It really helps explain quite a bit how the 'first we decide emotionally, then we justify logically' theory works."

I missed it. Is it the book dirk gently?

In the book, a character makes very strange decisions...

These are later found to have been neither emotionally nor instinctually sourced.

But a temporal combination of the two?

Touche.

Well get ready for some disbelief!

I never strayed beyond the books of the Hitchhiker's Guide trilogy, and then I never saw the movie.

Dirk...hm... Reminded me of Dick, as in Phillip K., and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. That's the book Blade Runner is based on, you know. Excellent read.

You're tempting me here Chris, but you've already forced me to buy too many books that I fear I may never read.... But I am doing some traveling shortly, and have some long plane rides ahead, so....

Yeah. I do that a lot.

Reading Dirk Gently on a plane ride would blow my mind...

You'll end up wondering if you moved, the earth moved, the universe moved, or None of the...

Plus you'll likely hear the plane for the very first time.

The movie? My brother told me not to bother.

I took his word for it, later saw a few clips and saw he was right.

'Hitchhiker' was actually the first and possibly the only book I ever got my brother to read.

Wow - that's revealing.

Read Dirk, my brother.

Also goes a long way towards explaining why all humans are insane.

I think this is another underdiscussed topic

The dreamtime is another reality, and we have the capacity to exercise free will there in a way not possible in wakefulness. Imagine the implications if we engaged in energetic peacefare in the dreamtime? Imagine the consequences if we are being attacked there and offering no resistance at all?

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

cool

.

More like 'super cool'.

g'uh!
