How Many Black People Dig Ron Paul/Liberty? How Many African-Americans?

In preparation for taking out my digital video camera to collect interviews relative to this subject:

Are you black and into Ron Paul?
Are you African-American and into Ron Paul?

Orientals and/or Asian-Americans please wait your turn for this question - right now I want to focus on just this ONE area:

Are you black and into Ron Paul?
Are you African-American and into Ron Paul?

How Many HUMAN BEINGS Dig Ron Paul/Liberty? How many Human-Americans?

who cares what skin color they are. This only fuels the separation between us all.

- Brennan

Yes. My point in this activity would be to point out how we are

I want to ask the question straight first. Then I lay on the 'as a black person' junk. I'm trying to get views which is what pays on youtube.

Thanks and keep sending in those vids!

Chris, do you mind if I steal your tagline?

You are such a stalwart of American Freedom I want it.

Now I don't know which one you mean.

The panda thing?

you must report test reports back.

in which case, yes.

Might be time to do this one...

now that it is summer time.

Who Cares!!

The idea we have to have the approval of this 12% of the population in order to justify our existence is ridiculous. Let the message and the movement resonate itself. Stop groveling at the feet of those statist diversity worshipers.

Is this how you feel as a black person?

Or is it how you feel as a woman?

thank you Jan for randomly reminding me of this post...

It's summer time no so I guess it's time to take this idea live.

We'll see what happens.

Does it matter who is

Does it matter who is black?
We will stop discriminating on individuals the same time we stop seeing individuals in groups.
Let's start here!
What do you say?

“Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the government take care of him better take a closer look at the American Indian.” ― Henry Ford.

there's no discrimination in point out who's black/white/yellow/etc. It is exactly part of be an individual.

In Africa there's no such thing as "black community" or "black

The very phrasing is the by-product of horror-logic.

In Africa there are no "united" Africans -- it is still and always will be tribal -- even within one particular country, say Nigeria -- violence is "black-on-black" and it is horrible.

The same is true for Europeans -- Euro-on-Euro violence in the Eastern Block, in Ireland (just 20 years ago), in Germany.....everywhere.

So -- even though I have black-indian-irish ancestry I do not feel as though I have a "people".

If we can't get Libertarians to agree how can you get people to "unite" over horror.

Community = Common Unity........no one wants to unite over horrors from the past.

As an individual "I dig" Ron Paul because RP respects my individuality, he needs it so he can be free from taking responsibility for me and me him.

i think you should hand out

i think you should hand out articles and information. copies of small libertarian books if you could splurge for it. upload it to youtube if you do.

you shouldn't just go up to them and ask them about being black or pointing that fact out, in my opinion. i'm in the north, i just think it's important to speak to black people and tell them about the illuminati. there is a black church here that talks about the illuminati in church. They definitely want to know more and are willing to discuss it.

Mr. Chris Cudnoski. the

Mr. Chris Cudnoski. the people who are criticizing you have no inclination to go up to black people and start handing things out and communicating with them.

these people are cut off from them. they are like liberals or politically correct wanting to use terms to criticize, "you are so collectivist" "why are you collectivizing a group" "why are we in this mentality"

i don't think they have an inclination to do what you plan to do. i hope you plan to do it. If you can print up leaflets, bulletins, give them sources to consult. the law by bastiat? some libertarianism in one lesson?

something cheaper? Something they can sink their teeth into.

I went up to a black guy when i was in college, i was handing out ron paul bumper stickers. I asked him if he would a ron paul bumper sticker, the black man replied, "is he black?" and i said "No, but he will end the war on drugs." That shook him up. He yelled to his friends about Ron Paul. i got some black people to vote for Ron Paul. i wish i could have done more.

you are not collectivizing a group, the group is already collectivized because they are put in prison as a rule, by the State.

don't listen to these people, Mr. Cudnoski. they have no inclination to go up to black people, today or any day.

i wondered why the daily paul wasn't going up to more black people. they were too set in their comfort zone.

But please have a lot of material. Infowars.com bumperstickers. Explain to them the financial derivatives and credit default swaps being transfered to the government after the bankers racked up the debt. explain to them how the bankers control the politicians, esepcially Obame. More black people know they are being lied to by the media. And explain to them now that white people are beginning to experience the stomping boot of the police state. so the white people are forced to wake up. the dept. of homeland security is shooting targets of white people now. please show them those links. tell them about this. i wish i was doing more right now.

if people thought as you did when ron paul was running, Obama would have had his base of black people removed from him. romney would have been the same, i know. but Obama is using race still, like a brand of coca cola to market to the masses.

God Speed

Much obliged and by almighty...

Thank you! And for all means I intend to transform Daily Paul through all means available to me into my newly-formed perspective.

We must start thinking of

We must start thinking of people as individuals not groups

whatever. black people who

whatever. black people who are 6 times more likely to be in prison for drug offenses wish they were as worldly as you.

Agree. At some point during every arrest...

a police officer must be able to justify in their mind that the arrest was justified.

I reckon. This isn't easy for our generation

I reckon. This isn't easy for our generation and a couple others before ours. We have to be patient and educative with the people.

Guess what. The Ugly Truth:

we've been "engineered" for more than two centuries to think so, on a large scale. Special credits go to public education systems.

Both in the Western and the Eastern countries.

That was the plan. The collectivist statist plan.

Divide and Conquer. And Bread and Circuses.

The evergreen strategy to be used by and for the state's oligarchy, TPTB.

Ron Paul was working to free Tavis and Cornell from their collectivist mindset.

Why are you trying to collect people and put them back in their boxes?

Signed, Confused in Michigan.

Free includes debt-free!

Boxes - exactly right. Awesome.

That's exactly what I'm trying to expose - the boxes. I'm trying to ask two questions that make people hopefully see the box drawn around them by the way I 'frame' the question.

Thanks for all the comments and conversations

If the swing in votes (-6 to +5) is any indication, along with some of the conversations that have formed around this thread, it seems that some have figured out that what I asked was a trick question.

My purpose in asking this was, and with the interviews will be, to interrupt peoples' thought processes long enough to realize how they are subtly manipulated through questions like this to think and respond in certain pre-programmed ways.

The format will be:
How do you feel about _____?
As a black person, how do you feel about _____?
Now, as an African-American how do you feel about _____?

I'm expecting that at some point the individual will stop me and ask "Hey wait a minute! Why does it matter if I answer 'as a black person', 'as an African-American', as a, as a, etc.

At this point I would apologize and say that I don't even know what I meant by it myself, but that is how I've always heard such questions phrased before so I was just repeating the script I had been taught.

With any luck this process would bring about some kind of consciousness shift, not by me teaching it to the person but rather by them realizing it on their own and teaching what they had just discovered to me.

And if anyone tells me they are offended at my manipulating their mind I would apologize for their having been offended at my attempt to manipulate their mind.

Your logic

makes no sense. Asking for someone's perspective as seen from a certain category of experience is relevant. For example, you might ask 'as a woman how do you feel about X?'. Your logic says the woman should think 'wait, why does it matter if I answer as a woman?' It can make a difference for some things, not all things, but some. Same thing for asking 'as a native-American, as a etc.'

People still have different experiences in America, whether it's admitted or not. For proof of this see Eddie Murphy going under cover as a white person:

http://www.hulu.com/watch/10356 (warning, it's satire ;) )

He's actually got a point.

When we are told that something about our world view is wrong, we defend it. When we are put in a position to question our worldview of our own accord, we are much more likely to take the question seriously.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

The fact you would even ask

The fact you would even ask this question shows you to be collectivist. Its not important, you are trying to prove some point with asking for video I understand....but by doing so you only propogate racism as much as those you are trting to convince. Good cannot be accomplished by evil means...and your means are evil. Downvoted.

Who cares? Why do you try to

Who cares? Why try to divide people into categories? We are all AMERICANS.

Please everyone, stop talking about race and racism so much, it is only a tool that the powers that be use to divide us.

Plenty of black Libertarian's/Independants here in

WA. Plenty of GOOD white basketball players here, too. ;)

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

I'm Black (mostly)

But I don't want to be on video.

How about

How about regular pictures? Or are you inline with Amish Dutch?

There was a npr story this morning where Amish Dutch are converting some of their manual tools to power. This is because they are finding land to be too expensive so they must expand their manufacturing to increase profits. They still oppose electricity/grid [for now], but are finding ways to utilize battery. I think it is a bad move, but evolution does work both ways. One guy from the Amish community said that he can never keep his mouth shut, so he approved having a picture taken of himself. It is only a matter of time or decades before they expect or are forced to have government to 'take care of them' too :-(
