Make it viral: "Come and Take It" - The commercial the media won't air.

http://youtu.be/3vcr5-QvMdY

"We reached out to Mr. Vaus about his experience and he confirmed the reports.

“Clear Channel refused to allow me to buy time on all of their DC area stations,” said a frustrated but undeterred Vaus.

“On the TV side, the video version has been refused by the two major cable TV carriers in DC – Comcast and ViaMedia. Finally I have attempted to buy time on MSNBC nationally and they have been unresponsive.”

Maybe we all need cannons?

Maybe we all need cannons?

Very powerful. Loved it.

Very powerful. Loved it. Wonder what grounds they have for denying that ad. Something very prejudicial I am sure.

Can we stop with the make it viral headlines someday?

You can't force a youtube video to go viral...Look at the Harlem shake meme for god sake.

Why make this sound like central command for the Ron Paul spam bots?

Share an interesting video with your friends and if its good they will share it with their friends.

Sill not as annoying as the make the capitol hill switch board melt posts.

Its probably just me.

I like it. If there are any

I like it. If there are any songwriters out there, write a good song with a similar theme and send it to Trace Adkins or Toby Keith and it will be a big hit.

it will never be aired.

try mailing it to press tv or russian today , maybe they will air it,

oh yeah press tv is being banned in multiple countries , go figure.

CLEAR Channel is owned by BAIN CAPITAL. We all know who is on Clear Channel. None other Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Mike Savage nation, Mark Levin show. Talk about conflict of interest! ALL support Romney and ALL say Ron Paul is not electable. TOTAL Media Brainwashing."

Rush Limbaugh is a paid mouthpiece for Romney, paid millions to maintain the status quo.
Rush Limbaugh signed an eight-year contract for about $400 million, a big jump from his last Clear Channel deal.

Good Post, Good Commercial

Now, if only more people would adopt this 'in-your-face' hardline stance and project it loudly, clearly and consistently, reference this issue and other federal usurpations and predations...we may actually get somewhere.

This type stance is what it will take, on abroad level.

Nice

Although it is amazing we are still using gun powder... what a primitive society we live in. I would think someone would have developed a hand held energy weapon by now... but instead we get blankets with arms (http://www.mysnuggiestore.com/?etag=r|getsnuggie)

LOL

Where's the jetpacks, flying cars, and freaking lasers?

I'll gladly trade the snuggie for them any day!

Kinetic weapons

are just better.

No, really. Energy weapons have been way over-hyped by sci-fi. The likely next stage of weaponry is going to remain kinetic, except with electromagnets propelling the round in question, which allows for easy ammo manufacturing and much higher capacity than missile systems.

Case in point: the Navy has lasers that can shoot down drones... and that's about all they're good for, shooting aircraft. On the other hand, they're working on the railgun, which fires a projectile at utterly insane velocities; so fast, in fact, that an explosive warhead is completely unnecessary.

Go to Youtube and look up "homemade Gauss gun" or "coil gun" and witness the next stage of personal weaponry in embryo.

For now, however, gunpowder is very much sufficient, extremely reliable, and accessible to the populace at large. You have no right to declare it primitive; even the most advanced militaries in the world use it. Energy guns are all well and good when you have a nuclear reactor for an engine, but for personal use? I'll keep my rifles, thanks.

One of those sad ironies

We are fighting for the right to use "assault weapons" to protect ourselves against tyrants with sound cannons, EM pulses, microwave weapons... not to mention stealth jets, black hawk helicopters and nukes. Just have to hope the folks with those things actually in their hands are not as tyrannical as the folks who stockpile them for use on helpless civilians.

Not me.

I've been advocating the legalization of grenade launchers, Stingers, and other explosive systems.

Also, IEDs. That high-tech trash is clearly doing a fantastic job against sandal-wearing goat-herders, right? Yeah, no. Turns out a guy with a $200 Kalashnikov and a homemade bomb can kill you just as dead as a missile strike from a multi-million-dollar drone.

And remember, drones and aircraft need operators. Operators are very killable.

Who says that fighting against aircraft is limited to when they're in the air, anyway? Sabotage is a time-honored guerilla tactic.

In short, color me less than impressed with the money hole that is our "advanced," yet remarkably squishy, technology. Sure, it's pretty and sleek, but over-reliance on computers and counter-measures is a heck of a weakness. An Iowa-class battleship can survive anything short of a meteor strike; nobody can say the same for our pretty little missile cruisers. If I have to choose between a fancy-shmancy point-defense system or three feet of armor, I'll take the armor, thanks.

Thanks fishy

Thanks for this post. I'm proud to say that Steve Vaus is MY city councilman and the city just approved a new shooting range last Tuesday.

Don't forget other media type

Don't forget other media type adds that became immortal from the internet alone, smartbeep and priceless come to mind immediately. If you know what I am speaking of, I rest my my case. So the MSM refuses to sell time. Does that show short term or long term thinking?

It doesnt get much more Pro-American than that!

I suggest

that we make this the unofficial anthem of gun-owning patriots everywhere.

Funny how music gets the point across even better than just saying it.

Thanks for the votes!

Don't forget to post it wherever you can!
