Submitted by The Granger on Fri, 02/22/2013 - 13:11Louis Farrakhan endorsed Ron Paul
Farrakhan is a speaker of Liberty, and he's got much more to say than Alex Jones IMO. http://www.youtube.com/wa...
I'd like to invite a Louis Farrakhan thread and how we can achieve Liberty together.

Farrakhan claimed it was ending the federal reserve bank
I find Farraknan theocratic, which is right wing, he's conservative, problem is the nation of Islam scares the hell out of more than the establishment, but Christians in the Liberty Movement.

Agreed. Religion, like any
Agreed.
Religion, like any other institution, is only dangerous insofar as it has access to state monopoly on violence. Religion in the US is largely benign due to our tradition of separation. Sadly this has made a very easy and attractive avenue for a 'new' religion, statism, which by virtue of denying it is religion has been able to turn us into a theocratic state.
In the east religions like Islam are 'feral' because they claim state power. In the west the religion of statism is similarly feral. The war on terror is a religious war, but only exists because both sides have access to the means of war.
Without state power, religion like all institutions without state power, is beneficent. How do we know? Because people engage in them without compulsion. If they exist at all and people are part of them voluntarily, they are social goods.
