Of all the rumors floating around about just why Pope Benedict XVI is hanging up his camauro, one has taken on a life of its own. According to several well-placed vaticanisti--or Vatican experts--in Rome, Benedict is resigning after being handed a secret red-covered dossier that included details about a network of gay priests who work inside the Vatican, but who play in secular Rome. The priests, it seems, are allegedly being blackmailed by a network of male prostitutes who worked at a sauna in Rome’s Quarto Miglio district, a health spa in the city center, and a private residence once entrusted to a prominent archbishop. The evidence reportedly includes compromising photos and videos of the prelates--sometimes caught on film in drag, and, in some cases, caught ‘in the act’.
Revelations about the alleged network are the basis of a 300-page report supposedly delivered to Benedict on December 17 by Cardinals Julian Herranz, Joseph Tomko and Salvatore De Giorgi. According to the press reports, it was on that day that Benedict XVI decided once and for all to retire, after toying with the idea for months. He reportedly closed the dossier and locked it away in the pontifical apartment safe to be handed to his successor to deal with. According to reports originally printed by La Repubblica newspaper and the newsweekly Panorama (and followed up across the gamut of the Italian media), the crimes the cardinals uncovered involved breaking the commandments “Thou shalt not steal” and “Thou shalt not commit adultery,” the latter of which has been used in Vatican-speak to also refer also to homosexual relations instead of the traditional reference to infidelity.

Ratzinger is retirering for accepted reasons.
What's interesting to me is how the Church is targetted, after years of trials, payments, changes in Church rules dealing with people and children.
Yes, I think the Church has been infiltraited, and MSM burns the flames to take down the Church, who fights against a culture of death and destruction.
And yes, the Church was slow to respond because so many were in disbelief that a preist would do this to our children? Preists are men, so respect was taught, that you are not to be alone with a preist, confession boxes had particians.. so the child molestation and rape charges were very difficult to accept and understand. It was a hard shock and very dissappointing, but it did not stop the faithful from Church, and many victims remain alter boys even as grown men, openly homosexual, with a partner, content to not be married, and sometimes, getting a preist to marry them at the retirement of the preist.
And yes, seriously, I believe many attempts on the Church are made in many ways and this was one.. because these article never mention other Churchs, and that does not mean it does not happen in other Churchs.. it does.
Under Benedict, the Angelican Church came into the priesthood of the RCC, as some Anglican Priests are married, so the RCC now has married priests.
The Church will survive infiltration, exposition, defamation created to destroy it for a UN Agenda.

As for public viewing, the Church will always be a spectacle to the public, and those who seek shall find. If it's muck they seek, the Church has plenty, and if it's truth, they will find that is not for the world, but for those who have faith in God.

Have you noticed these question mark headlines are becoming
common place in much of the print media recently? I've noticed it for the past year. That was the headline on the article, if you read it.
Big reputable media are doing it a lot now and Ben Swann does it on almost all of his videos.
I don't care for it, but I didn't feel very journalistically creative when I lazily copied and pasted the article.

And noticed that Ben does it all the time.
I think it is a way of getting controversial information out there without actually saying you agree with it. In most (if not all) cases, Ben is in agreement with the questioning headline. But if attacked, he can always say, "I was only asking a question."
Also, I think stating it as a question makes people more receptive to listening, especially the way he goes about answering it. It is an easier sell than trying to ram it down people's throats.
