Open letter to Glenn Beck; Welcome to the rEVOLution

I welcome you to the rEVOLution, others can speak for themselves. I am optimistic and excited to see an established political analyst pursuing the cause of liberty. Others are still angry over some of the names you've called Libertarians over the years.

I hope that truth is what you seek, if so, you are in a position to do big things. This movement is a giant movement that wants the truth, and the truth ain't pretty. Marxism is inside our borders under a new progressive label. They merge Government and economy, redistribute wealth, and discredit the opposition... this is real Glenn.

The truth is we need you Glenn, just as bad as you need us. United we stand, divided we fall. I see you're writing a book about Agenda 21, that's GOOD! We need more stuff like that. 9/11, JFK, RFK, Chem Trails, Military Industrial Complex... you get the idea. Conspiracy is real and the implications are enormous when you tie it all together.

I welcome you to the movement and I would like see you here on the DP. I appreciate your courage to apologize to the movement and I for one accept your apology. I hope and pray that you will use your new beliefs to do what journalists used to do which is find the truth. Expose the criminals in Government, blow the whistles, and help spread the wonderful message of Liberty.

Keep encouraging those around you and don't let criticism knock you down. Any fool can criticize and most fools do, that's okay. It is their right to criticize and you'd do well to listen.

I'm glad you've seen the light GB, and I'm proud of you.

God Bless You

P.S. If you have something you'd like to say to Glenn Beck you can contact him here. http://www.glennbeck.com/content/program/contact/

You are loose cannon.

I understand that you only wish good things, and that you are trying whatever way that you know how. But I have been around the block many times, and have deep perspective and understanding of things.

I hope that you will continue to try, and fight the good fight, with honesty, peace and God at your side, as I will do the same. I will also hope that you open your eyes and not throw words around that have no bearing, which could potentially be used to advance the opposition to our cause.

For now, I would prefer to be friends from afar, and not walk side by side. At this point and time and from my perspective, you are a danger to our Republic, imho.

I will repeat.. I have no intention of giving that guy a single rating, and I don't give a rats ass if he reads it or not. He is a big boy. He knows what he does. I profoundly oppose the likes of him.

In time, and I am hopeful, I do hope that someday we will walk the path together :-)

PS: He can shove those 2.1 million up his derry air. People will soon learn the truth.

ProudAmericanFirst: Where is the LOVE?

I'll bet some neocon somewhere is on google typing libertarian right now because of Glenn Beck. GB has said things that made me very angry before but right now he's introducing millions of people to the words "libertarian" and "Agenda 21". That is without a doubt a good thing in this rEVOLution of our hearts and minds. Where's the love?

The individual who refuses to defend his rights when called by his Government, deserves to be a slave, and must be punished as an enemy of his country and friend to her foe. - Andrew Jackson

GB is a paid actor. As someone said in another post that I just read, he wants to 'control' the liberty movement, not be a part of it. I couldn't agree more, in fact I could have written that myself. GB is **profitting** off of OUR work and OUR momentum, which nobody can deny. And HE wants to take the credit.

Once he has 'control' of it, he can just as easily tear it right down. That is what they do.

Look up the 2010 polls for Ron Paul. He was undisputed. He was the one who would bury obama. Then look what happened prior to primaries.

As I said before, JD, I believe that your heart is truly in the right place. But I personally can not afford another 4 years of this nations direction.

Hey, if Americans can be led by a noose toward liberty and then afterward realize on their own what it really means, I am all for it. But history shows that they are sheep. They will talk the talk, but unfortunately, they will not walk the walk. That is where I and others come in.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

If he wants to join us he can

Post here like the rest of us. Sign up with his real name so we know who he is. I do not trust him but he is not special he is a cry baby. He has to earn his respect and stay the course. He has proved himself a flip flopper. He is no better than any of us do not forget it. He just has a room antenna and a big mic. Let him prove himself he is not to be trusted anymore than Carl Rove the enemy.

Glenn Beck is a "Liberty-phile" - molester of Liberty!

I'm not a "L"ibertarian. Now I don't even consider myself a "Republican". I'm a Christian conservative that believes in the principles of liberty.

I wish we could put all this "group" stuff behind us and start looking at basic precepts. Good vs Bad. Constitution vs un-Constitutional.

At the end of the day, there are only two parties in America. Those that follow the Constitution, and those that don't - PERIOD!

And it can be argued that there is, in most cases, a clear position of GOOD, and of EVIL. What Ron Paul argues can be backed up with Bible scriptures; his ideas are GOOD.

Beck is poison. He's a liar and a scam. Sure, I can forgive him, like you'd forgive someone that molested your child. Although forgiven, you DON'T want them around your kids EVER AGAIN!

That's what I think Beck should do - stay away from the Liberty movement, because he's a PROVEN Liberty-molester!

Restore the Foundations - "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"

I Agree and Very Well Written

Beck is a sycophant to the liberty movement. He tries to ingratiate himself to serve his masters' agenda of infiltration and deception.

He's a walking and talking red herring and not to be trusted.

"At the end of the day, there are only two parties in America. Those that follow the Constitution, and those that don't - PERIOD!"

And THAT should be a BUMPER STICKER!!

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

he was part of the co-opt of the tea party

and now he's trying to co-opt libertarianism. Very transparent. Don't trust the guy.

Nice to see he's softened his name calling of Ron Paul supporters from 'terrorists' to 'nazis' though. That's real progress.

Oh and when is his commune opening up?

Sorry but not

Even if we drop what he did to us, Dr. Paul and the cause of liberty, his life has been about maintaining the power centers and the status quo, pro war, pro fed, pro regime.

He wants to do a face lift and a walk-away, more than that, HE'S SETTING HIMSELF UP AS THE RIGHTEOUS LEADER.

This is utterly unacceptable. He should be wearing sack cloth and ashes and begging in the streets LITERALLY.

Not only am I not convinced, I'm not fooled for a second.

There is nothing strange about having a bar of soap in your right pocket, it's just what's happening.

Posts asking us to now

Posts asking us to now embrace both Louis Farrakhan and Glenn Beck? Surely you have lost your minds, friends...

Don't Lump Farrakhan w/ Glenn Beck

I can't say that I'm overly knowledgeable about Farrakhan but I've heard several speeches of his that I liked a lot. LF speaks positively of RP and talks about some of the same issues (e.g. the Fed).

Those who research the story

Those who research the story of Malcolm X will learn that Farrakhan was likely involved in his murder. Malcolm's daughter certainly thought so - she tried to hire an assassin to kill Farrakhan.

Malcolm X and Farrakhan ministered together in Nation of Islam in NYC in the 60's under the leadership of Elijah Muhammed. Their rap was vehemently anti-white, as ugly and racist as any rhetoric coming from the KKK. Malcolm X, however, after visiting Mecca and observing people of different races coming together in prayer under Islam, began backing off the racist rhetoric. I believe that he had an awakening, and had he lived would have been a voice for racial reconciliation.

Malcolm X was on his way to becoming a force for good. Muhammed and the NOI would have been marginalized, and so they murdered him. Farrakhan took over Malcolm's role as primary NOI spokesman.

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

Younger people may not be

Younger people may not be familiar with Farrakhan's long history of promoting militant "anti-white" racism. Racism isn't any less offensive when promoted by a so-called minority group. It's all bad.

Consider the source Velveeta

Farrakhan is censored, lied about and proegandized just like Ron Paul.

"Farrakhan's long history of

"Farrakhan's long history of promoting militant "anti-white" racism."

Please provide source for that... thanks

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

Gleeful Blaze headline just 18 days ago

"Beck Delivers Excoriating Rebuke of Ron Paul Over ‘Ugly and Offensive’ Tweet About Chris Kyle’s Death"
Feb 5 (I'm not going to provide a link, you can look it up if you want.)

Several good comments. One person asks, "Why is Glenn suddenly attacking the 1st amendment all the time. He is doing it here by attacking Ron Paul for exercising his freedom of speech." I like this one because the poter admits, "I am not a fan of Ron Paul. To me he is an extreme right wing libertarian. I am not that far right but he is a U.S. Citizen and is protected by the Constitution as we all are. I have been paying close attention to Glenn and he has a real ego thing about telling us all how we should think and act.... he attempts to demonize them or put them in a bad light ie anytime he uses the label truthers against people which he does quite often. If he disagrees all he has to say is he disagrees and move on..."

I think commenter Sillyfreshness nailed it with this comment:
"Glenn Beck’s real problem with Ron Paul is Paul isn’t a puppet of the “chosen people” like he and 99% of all the Blazers on here. He knows they (Judens) are the enemy of liberty, so he has no love for them. He know the “chosen people” Marxist Media constantly attacked and demonized him in their media they control. Why? Because he didn’t promise to sacrifice every American man, woman, and child to defend Israel as the rest of the corrupt politicians have promised. Beck is a puppet of the “chosen people” and Ron Paul is not, so that’s why Beck constantly attacks him. It all boils down to one issue………”chosen people”."

One of the reasons I stopped paying attention to Beck was that his trip to Israel confirmed his 'Israeli-firster' status to me. Has that changed? I don't know because he doesn't interest me anymore.

I love seeing the willingness to forgive, but c'mon, really.

Some of you folks remind me of the typical Abused Woman stereotype on the tube.

"This time, he means it... He really loves me; he doesn't want to abuse me, if I were only a little more loving..."

He is a hired trogan horse.

A leopard doesn't change his spots.

Stay way from Beck. Aesop's

Stay way from Beck. Aesop's fable about the turtle and the scorpion comes to mind. The damage he has done already is irreparable.

He did not just call us names

He stabbed Debra Medina and Ron Paul in the back. You guys are imbeceles to give this jerk any credibility. Stay away from him.

I think you're too rigid

Yes, Beck was a big disappointment during the Ron Paul and Debra Medina campaigns. But have you been paying attention to the conversation between Beck and Jillett? Penn Jillett has done a masterful job advocating pretty pure libertarian ideas, and Beck has been changing his positions as a result.

Beck now calls for bringing the troops home. A few months ago he thought that was a stupid idea. He admits he was wrong about the Patriot Act and now advocates a position on civil liberties not too different from ACLU. This is a HUGE change for a neo-con.

We need to accept when a person has changed his mind, and then congratulate him for it. Condemning him for past errors, no matter how grievous, will not encourage his further exploration and evolution.

Beck has been talking with Jillette since at least 2009

It's nothing new. And Beck, since I watched his show on Fox anyway, has always claimed to be a libertarian.
What changed? Beck? Or the money he can rake in?
I'm not saying Beck can't do good because he did introduce viewers to a lot of things - Soros aka 'Spooky Dude', MAD (Mutualy Assured destruction), he even openly talked about Agenda 21. But then he veered off into very strange directions that gave me pause. Then he spat all over everything and backed Santorum... what the heck was that about? We're talking just months ago. And now he wants to start some kind of 'libertarian commune' in TX... why?
Beck can do and be whatever he wants. He doesn't need my permission nor my forgiveness. He's a free man.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.

Beck, like Bush before him,

Beck, like Bush before him, is an alcoholic who "found God". A dependent, weak, manipulative personality harboring delusions of greatness. Not a very attractive collision of beliefs.

So you have never needed

forgiveness in your life?

"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect" - Mark Twain

I've been eager...

...to forgive and like Glenn, especially because his repeated rounds of ripping Dr. Paul and us a new one without showing any attempt to hear us out on his shows have brought a bit of tension at times between my family who are fans of his and myself trying to counter his smear jobs in their minds.

Forgiveness is a two-part thing, though, in order for the matter to be truly reconciled between us. It would be wrong of us to not seek reconciliation and to not be willing to set aside past wrongs. However, it also takes Glenn to stop with the condescending insults which suggest that nothing has really changed much in his demeaning attitude. Calling us fascists, Nazis, and worshippers of an individual while demanding we embrace him -- that just doesn't appear to be a sincere attempt at reconciliation on his part.

I don't hate Glenn; I just don't trust him....yet. Ball's in his court.

your sooth opened my eyes

You speaketh Sooth.

Beck lays into Libertarians because we supposedly worship a man.
This, IMO, is the sticking point with him.
He wants to be worshipped in the same way that he believes we worship Ron Paul.

He wants to be adored.

Doubt That Beck Will be Posting on Here

Lip service, but actually "joining" the LIberty movement....I think not. He is not going to risk his millions a year on taking a stand for what is right. He'll stay attached to his gravy train and follow whatever orders the networks heads dictate.

Glenn, this movement grows by

Glenn, this movement grows by the day. You really have no idea how many people have crossed the borders of the right and left their establishment hack candidates behind to join the movement. Even those who laughed at us in the beginning. We do not shun those who seek liberty. But, we are entirely in the right to look you up and down and feel that there's something not right here.

I am remaining sceptical, which is really the only sincere thing to do. Even if Rush, or even the entire Fox news channel became Libertarian, I would not throw my arms around them. You can't just say you're looking for a libertarian candidate like Rand Paul to win us over. You see, you are one of those people who not only laughed at us, but mocked and insulted. To say you finally understand the movement after the GOP lost is incredibly shady and perplexing to say the least. But it doesn't mean it's not true.

Our arms are open Glenn, but we still can't tell who we're embracing when it comes to those like you.

I don't know whats going on

I don't know whats going on with the whole glenn beck thing but im not buying it haven't spent time on looking into it and still not going to believe him or accept his apology if he apoligizes because I won't believe him. We are doing fine without him and we should continue on with the political entertainment talking heads and remember how they treated Dr. Paul during the election and had the chance to save this nation but instead sold their morals and principles and souls to make money and become famous.. Glenn beck can kiss my ass.
