Immortal Technique On Fire with Alex Jones

Immortal Technique (Felipe Coronel) is a revolutionary. Born in Peru, he immigrated to Harlem, NY and eventually ended up in prison. He left with a new focus on music. His aggressive style gained him instant notoriety as a battle rapper, and his first album was a word-of-mouth sensation. Unwilling to change his message for mainstream, he remained completely independent. His subsequent projects have permanently found their way into the hearts and minds of truth seekers worldwide.

This is a 'must see' interview.

adam vs the man vs immortal technique

I would like to see the socratic method applied.

Making freedom popular in Popular Entertainment arena

The movement is on Island Earth Music in Louisville. http://islandearthmusic.com/

Immortal Technique would be a great addition to IEM's line up of former mainstream commercial recording label artists, such as members of Nappy Roots, Villebillies, Code Red, and others. In addition to those on the IEM team with professional experience in the recording industry is a group of rising young talents such as Elephant Room whose debut album "Dumbo's Circus" on IEM is a must have for anyone who is sick of the left dominating the hip-hop soapbox to popularize left-wing issues.
(Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Buy a copy and in the message box tell them Daily Paul sent you.)

Immortal Technique would just add even more weight to an organization that is positioning itself with heavy hitters to become a musical powerhouse for the movement.

Evidenced by the upcoming release of the band Iron Bells debut album, http://ironbellsmusic.bandcamp.com , Island Earth Music is not for hip-hop artists only. Artists in the genres of Jordan Page, Rebel Inc., Golden State, etc. should also take a look at IEM.

I'm not on much these days but when I am I will probably do a lot of plugging for r3volutionaries projects in the popular entertainment arena, such as IEM music project and the Silver Circle film project. Any help spreading the word, from folks like you LL, would be greatly appreciated.

The [R]evolution of Immortal Technique (Full Documentary) .

If you want to get inside the mind of Immortal Technique, to learn more about his beliefs, well then see it for yourself.

No need to link to a photo without substance or a wikipedia page...see it right in the documentary.

Hear this man for what he is straight from his mouth, not who you "think" he is based on t-shirts and other nonsense.

Here is an other one:

How many Che Guevara t-shirts does the man own?

I try to change people every day. Do You?

Your not a true Che Guevara

Your not a true Che Guevara follower unless you have a tee shirt of Che Guevara wearing a Che Guevara shirt:

We all share this eternally evolving present moment- The past and future only exist as inconsequential mental fabrications.

Nice one.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

You'll be telling us Jay-Z is Marxist.

You do realize...

the face of Che Guevara is symbolic of rebellion and revolution against establishment...and people wear his image as expression.

If Tech was wearing a Martin Luther King jr. shirt, does that mean he's Southern Baptist?

An oldie but goodie...

Here is a Tech interview while at Occupy Wallstreet in '2011...

All these Ad Hominem attacks about his t-shirt are distracting from a message that to me, reminds me of Ron Paul speaking...except with maybe a few more curse words.

Speaking Truth: Immortal Technique Interview At Occupy Wall Street.

Check out this album cover..

Does that symbology look familiar? Hammer and sickle maybe?

I try to change people every day. Do You?

Does it mean anything that the sickle is broken

Tweeting occasionally as himself @cudnoski on the twitter.

The sickle isn't broken..

The sickle is there and the hammer has been replaced by a microphone.

I have posted him wearing at least 3 Che Guevara t-shirts..

1 Malcolm X t-shirt..

Connect the dots.

Over and out.. I have said enough in this thread.

If it isn't obvious that he is a Marxist, it never will be for some of you.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

Glad I listened.

At about 1:08 Alex starts getting real intense. Immortal Technique is special.

Alex needs to have more faith in his audience.

I've heard hundreds of Alex's interviews, and for the past few years at least he's been very good at letting the person speak and make their points but here he is interrupting a lot and I think I know why.

He's thinking primarily about new listeners and trying to make sure that only 'correct' world-views are expressed, as the reputation of his news media organization depends on the credibility of the information it conveys.

What he should have done is to have prefaced the interview, as he has done in the past with disagreeable guests like Mr. Rothschild a few years ago, with an explanation of why he doesn't agree with a few points and what they are. He did do this briefly by mentioning that he agreed with Immortal Technique 85% but he didn't elaborate.

Even the most unsophisticated first-time listener, having even missed such an introduction and tuning in in the middle of the conversation, should be trusted to have enough awareness and judgement skills to be able to figure out if arguments in favor of silly ideas like Marxism make any sense when they are actually explained by a believer in them.

Censoring, in a way, these messages before the guest can say them isn't helping or protecting the listener at all, in fact it even does harm because fearing wrong ideas gives them power they don't deserve. Alex has said that he has read the Communist Manifesto, as I have, for the purposes of understanding what it was, and coming to the conclusion as I did that it is gibberish. And it wasn't my prior decads/s of education on the NWO/illuminati/Alex telling me what was going on that led me to that conclusion - It was my own common sense.

And if a listener isn't savvy or at least street-smart enough to figure out on their own that bad ideas are bad then they're probably not going to think too hard about good information either. So what's the point of telling them anything at all?

My friend Alex Jones everything you do and say, even arguing with a guest, is done out of pure love. Please know that this love is acknowledged and appreciated wholeheartedly. Please don't forget something else that you also know - if you love somebody set them free.

Tweeting occasionally as himself @cudnoski on the twitter.

Your argument is over his T-shirt??

thats sillyness.

You obviously did not watch the alex jones video, and you obviously do not understand Immortal Technique (whether it be through his music, documentary, or interviews).

As both Alex and Tech say in the interview, they do not know everything and do not have all the answers.

Not even Ron Paul has all the answers...nor is he perfect. But its not about one man or one idea. Its not about following one persons view point to the "t". Its about understanding the system is rigged, and we need to wake the f'k up.

You my friend, are not helping by insinuating a persons viewpoint based on his t-shirt.

...would do you some good to download his FREE album [The Martyr]and listen to it for a few hours and let it soak in.

The day I see that guy..

wear a RON PAUL t-shirt and watch him do a major interview or watch him wear it while performing for a big audience is the day I will shut up about my "Marxist" claims.

The guy is obviously a smart individual, much smarter than some folks around here can even begin to grasp.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

I was very impressed by IM.

People writing Immortal Technique off as a Marxist and posting photos of him giving the bird are not giving him a fair shake. Watch the interview. He clearly states that the socialist movement in Latin America took root as a reaction to the hypocrisy of American-style democracy, the CIA's support of puppet dictatorships, and a lot of other perceived imperial bullshit. He clearly says that each major ideology gets co-opted and that we have to be individualists and think for ourselves.

ALSO, we should all take to heart his warning that the libertarian movement is the next ideology in danger of being co-opted. When I see links to Glenn Beck soundbites ("woo woo, he says he's libertarian!") on the Daily Paul, I fear that process is already in progress...

Not sure what your motivation is with your nonsense. Marxist? ...Tech even adressed your concern at the 55:50 mark...yet you keep liniking to random photos of tech as if to support your claim??

You can keep trying as hard as you like, but all one has to do is watch the video to see how informed Tech is vs. yourself.

Rich Man's World (1%)

Random photos?

T-shirts of Che Guevara are random?

What do you need to see a hammer and sickle t-shirt?

It sucks to realize that some of the artists you like are on the "other side", but it's a fact. Live with it.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

All together now folks,,,

Felipe Andres Coronel (born February 19, 1978), better known by the stage name Immortal Technique is a MARXIST.

A MARXIST is getting front page on the DP where he is obviously punking Alex Jones. (If that was the title of the OP I wouldn't mind the thread lol)

Many people here are supporting a Marxist.

That is the truth.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

Did you watch 55:00-57:00?

not many marxists

operate entirely within the free market the way he does. How exactly is selling a product you make directly to people marxist?

imagine ron paul had your attitude

and instead of talking to kucinich he just called him a commie.

honestly even if tech is a commie...i don't care. it's not like it's within his power to turn the usa into russia. instead of looking for the 1% of disagreement why not work together on the 90% of stuff we agree on. The name calling on here is a joke. No-one is good enough, not me, not you, not michael, not rand, not ron, no anyone. Yeah let's just sit here saying no-one is good enough and see where that gets us.

honestly i'm starting to think these people that sit around telling us that no-one is good enough don't have the best interests of liberty at heart, all they seem to want to do it put up road blocks. we'll never have perfection and if we wait around for perfection we'll be waiting forever.

If mao was alive today and he said the drone policy was shit I'd agree with him regardless. His politics would be irrelevant. You partisan people sicken me. Look at these democrats suddenly think torture and drones are great because obama is doing it not bush. It's not great no matter if you are right or left. STOP FALLING INTO THIS STUPID LEFT/RIGHT TRAP. There's RIGHT and there's WRONG. Chose your side and stop hiding behind politics.

I agree with you.

You are right on brother.

Please tell us more.

Tweeting occasionally as himself @cudnoski on the twitter.

Their solutions are radically different than ours.

There is no point trying to "team up" with "folks" who support the ideology of big government against big government.

It's a waste of time.

In a Libertarian world, they could live out their ideology on their own property, the problem is, that they have no respect for property rights.

There is no way a Marxist will make the leap to becoming a Libertarian.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

Tech is statist. Even if he is really knowledgeable, he still wants to control everything and everyone in his own way through government. Sick.

"you're a funny dude, but who gives a fuck about that? I don't care about someone's wit, I care about the courage of their heart and the honesty of their mind."

Most statists are knowledgable..

the others don't even realize they are and just follow what the tube tells them to vote for.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

Key point around 4:00

"I agree with 85% of what you speak of"
