Rush Limbaugh reads 'News-Times' letter to the editor on air

You can ignore the Rush part, but just read this letter to the editor of an eastern NC newspaper. This area is where I now call home, and believe me, I'm surrounded by these poor souls, bless their hearts. lol

Beaufort, N.C.
Jan. 17, 2013
TO THE EDITOR:
Republicans and “so-called” conservatives are at it again. They are claiming that the Constitution gives people the right to have guns without the permission of the government. If that were true, then how could New York and Chicago have laws against it?
We Democrats are sick and tired of Republicans constantly using the Constitution to cover up their true plans, which are to make us all afraid of everyone else. Our great president came from a civilized part of the country where there is strict gun control, and he is only trying to bring the benefits of that more modern way of living to the rest of us. I don’t know the exact statistics, but I’m quite certain that Chicago is a lot safer that Morehead City, when it comes to gun violence.

"natural born" has anything

"natural born" has anything to do with a c-section ...

huge eye roll

The writer of this letter did

The writer of this letter did get one observation correct, and that is we are not standing up against the unconstitutional laws. When NY passed their ban, we all assumed that it was a law that had to be follow. Instead, everyone who had those guns/mags should have taken to the capitol streets, fully loaded, and dared that shit-head of a governor to come take them. Maybe Ann Coulter did get it right when she called libertarians pussies, because it never should have gotten this far.

When I first saw this letter

When I first saw this letter a few weeks ago my initial thought was it's a troll.
Until the author comes forward I stand by my initial thought.
The letter just contains too much sentence structure and correct grammar to have been written by a true idiot.

I sure love watching trolls getting trolled though.

This must to be a joke, yes?

No one with thoughts this stupid could possibly write a letter and successfully locate the mailbox.

wish I could up vote this one a few times!

Best thing I have read in a while.

It is OBVIOUSLY satire. I almost peed my pants when he was mad that people born from a c-section couldn't be president.

No, seriously,

it is sadly, a real letter from a local citizen to the newspaper. Our education system is badly broken. lol

Unfortunately

This letter sounds a lot like the North Carolina I lived in a few years ago.

Same NC,

but it seems that the eastern half is becoming less educated than before. Where did you live?

I'm in

Winston-Salem

Hey, I think you have saner folks,

in the western part of the state. The eastern side is full of democrats. lol Glad to see another tarheel here.

This is satire

right?

I wish I could say yes,

but it was sent in by a concerned citizen.
